The staff are really nice and helpful. My friend has a disability and uses this cafe regularly. It is impossible for him to open the door either going in or out. There is a push-button for wheelchair users but in eight months, it has never worked. I've pointed this out to the staff on many occasions and they agree but seem powerless to do anything about it. They have advised me in good faith how to complain. I've tried emailing my complaint to Costa but it bounced back. I filled out the online form and got an email back from India telling me to email the UK. My theory is that it is impossible to communicate with Costa as an organisation. They are therefore unaccountable. So, here is my question: can anyone tell me with any kind of certainty (please don't waste my time), how to raise my concerns about disability access in this store?

Dropped in yesterday for lunch, food wasn't too bad didn't eat it all ..medium latte was warmish so had to take that bck ..took my boy to the disabled toilet, absolutely disgusting he cudnt use it 😤 dirty toilet, dirty toilet brush ,dirty floor going in 😡😡 the smell well 😳...doesn't help wen you have ppl in n out not buying anything n only coming in for the use of the toilet!!!!

First time and deffo not my last. Lovely chatty young lady on drive through on a stressful day . Coffee was lovely and even a smile on the lid not as pure as the one I was greeted with but close.

Me and my wife visited a number of Costa Coffees across the country over the year. This one we visit for a couple of hours every Monday evening whilst our son is at wrestling training. All the staff are well presented, and polite and helpful. I am disabled and they always offer to bring my hot drinks to my table. The premises are always clean and tidy.

Had the worst decaf latte I've ever had. Could not taste the coffee and the milk tasted burnt, will not be going back!

The staff here are absolutely amazing, so friendly and exactly how customer service should be. I’ve been served by about 6 different people and they have all been great. Always spoil my dog when we go through the drive through and have a chat 😃🐶

I go here everyday for my morning coffee ( i use the drive thru) and all the staff are excellent , I'd like to give missy a 5 star rating as she serves me most mornings and her happy , friendly vibe always puts a smile on my face 😁 what more could you want than great coffee and service with a smile

Poor. Paid extra for extra caramel didn’t even get the standard caramel shot. Tasted awful. No care taken in making possibly due to the morning rush! Won’t be going back

It was like all Costa's well run, clean with a nice atmosphere.

Not busy, with three or four staff on duty, but the floor was still badly in need of sweeping. Even the windowsill was covered in crumbs!

Been coming here for past 2 weeks, such a pleasant experience but today was awful first they was no greeting despite me saying hello the woman said eating in or not in a rude manner. I then asked for glass and ice with my orange juice when my sausage cob is brought out, with no reply she handed me a costa plastic cup. My sausage cob was just sat on the side and if it wasn’t for me going toilet I would have never realised, bearing in mind I only have 30 min lunch break. The cob was not even hot anymore. Don’t wanna come here again if she’s here rude cow

Coffee cold and bacon bap pale and fatty disgusting

This is the first Costa that I've experienced bad customer service at. I decided to nip in before going to the football 22/1/22, the place was quite busy with a queue leading to the entrance/exit, the way the staff member(manager of all things) was talking to customers was dam right rude, I'm not sure if it was because I wasn't wearing a mask (exempt) or she just didn't like my football shirt but the way she gave me the evils and the look of disgust was very off putting. No smile, no, hello, and not even a thank you for my custom. We all have our off days, but I'm afraid if you're at the front of the counter serving and you've got the managers name tag on and that's your attitude then I feel for the staff,you need to be more welcoming. Not impressed, Costa

Just been and ordered 2 hot chocolate (Terrys) I think they used cold water or the server forgot warm the milk up. Thinking of not using Costa anymore. Very dissapointed.

Every table full of cups etc ,tables to close people could not get round to sit down, toilet disgusting 🤮🤢 we cleared a table but sticky horrible. Staff came and cleaned 2 tables but did not wipe. Won't be coming back.

Sat at a table, had to wipe it down myself. Floor is dirty, 4 staff behind the counter. Wife went and ordered the drinks. Gave them to her in paper cups. Wife told them we were drinking in, staff got attitude and slammed drinks down when swapped for glass mugs. No offer of ginger bread man in gb late. Overall, crap.

Just had the worst experience of extremely bad customer care in my life ! I was served by a girl called Maria who professed to be the manager. To cut a long story short, Maria was extremely rude and aggressive and dismissive. I very rarely leave bad feedback however on this occasion I feel I must. Word of advice to Maria, never try to make the customer feel stupid or embarrassed or get a job which suits your disposition, mortician or gold fish trainer wouldsuit your skill set better! Thanks.

The manager, Tara, is very rude and annoying. She looked at me with such a sour, unpleasant face when serving me.

Tara is extremely rude and even rolled her eyes while serving me because I took just a second to decide on drink size! I've seen other people say similar about how rude she is. She definitely shouldn't work in a customer facing role! She should be a toilet cleaner.

Overpriced hot beverages and small snacks, primarily for hipsters or people who are too young to know any better or too old to be "cool" any more. What is the world coming to? 🤷‍♂️

Rude staff, order wrong and even though I’ve travelled from Yorkshire and needed the loo, the rude woman told me I had to wait at the end of the queue to get the toilet code off the receipt. Never again, wouldn’t recommend.

I went this drive through costa week before-13th April. And I was served by a young man at the paying window.He was so nice and generous.I wasn’t sure about what to have.and he explained me the drinks patiently as per my preference and helped me to choose my drink. Not all places you go to get this kind of customer service. I was very impressed with the service provided this young man(sorry don’t know the name).hope costa hire more employees like that!! Thanks again for the great customer service.

Really good company, however: Ordered breakfast and coffee this morning for all my staff, total order nearly £70.00. Went into the Daleside Road branch only to be shouted at by the manager that: YOUR ORDER IS NOT READY WAIT OUTSIDE!!! i did as I was told. Went in to collect the order and asked for brown and tomato sauce packets, this time to be told that I should have specified that on my order when ordering on the app! I calmly mentioned that I couldn't do that as s I didn't know which of my staff would want condiments! The response took me back a little as I was told that they couldn't just give me these as it will come out of their profit! Went to Aldi next door and purchased these. Came out and realised that I was one drink short (ordered 8 only received 7). Went in again and was immediately faced with aggression from the manager who said and I quote "I HAVE GIVEN YOU AN AMERICANO"! Again, I calmly explained that I actually ordered 2 Americano's. She then checked my order and proceeded to make the second coffee! So there you go, what should have been a pleasant experience turned into a very bad experience all down to one person and their attitude. After this experience I think I'll be looking for another coffee shop...

Really good coffee. The only thing I don't like is watching staff smoking next to the emergency exit door. This makes me think that they are making my coffee with smoking hands. Also I don't like them touching money and putting the lid on the coffee and their hand over the mouth bit of the lid, it always annoys me. But they are nice but just need to improve.

It's a coffee shop on a retail park. What more could I say (not a coffee drinker) chai latte is decent.

Slowest costa drive thru ever and not just one day everyday. I travel all over country and buy 2 or 3 coffees a day . Trust me this drive thru is shocking. Not moving been in Nottingham 3 weeks been here everyday as closest one to job how can they be this slow.

I think they put all efforts for drive thru as tables outside are forgotten. Carmel latte doesnt taste as it should.

Starbucks is better not only because of better coffee. Here you are not allowed to come in with a dog. Don't count on having a clean table outside. I have been told that outside is notice that I can't go in with dog but the sticker is damage and you can't see what is on it.

Went on saturday morning drive through was supposed to be open at 7 am. 2 staff stood behind a sign smoking when I shout what time are you opening looked under the sign then ignored me this was at 07.15 not impressed wont be using drive through again.

So much is being said about pro ecological behaviour, active lifestyle, reducing carbon footprint but I was refused to have a takeaway drink here because I was a cyclist, not a motorist. It is the city, not some motorway services! Your message is clear: do not be a loser, you walk, you cycle – we will not serve you, always use a car instead. (I visited the place 15 minutes before closing time).

Clean, tidy friendly staff. Would have 5 stars if barista knew whether the almond milk was unsweetened or not. But she let me try a little as it didnt say on the carton and it was sweetened. Costa need to have unsweetened options for alternative milks

The manger is quite rude in dealing with some customers and even some of the staff, she is somehow not happy being there! That’s certainly appalling for the customers in the shop! I won’t be visiting there anymore. Russ

Costa can't go wrong ...but i had family over and they couldn't make their mind up what they wanted ( they don't normally use the company ) now we all have off days but the staff weren't busy but they were very rude which was a shame .. won't be using that one again
