Great venue to watch sport. There was a good vibe and a relaxed atmosphere with good service.

Had a stag do event booked was ment to have food cooked by a chef which they didn't have so had pizza cooked instead , staff were lovely but very poor management!!

Waited an hour for food to then be told they didn’t have the ingredients and offered a refund. We asked twice over that hour about where our food was and was repeatedly told by the same rude member of staff that our food was on its way and that the kitchen was backed up.

Quite an interesting place to visit, dancing on the chairs, drinking beers and listening to some good music so a pretty good time.

A nice bar/club. Some good music and a nice atmosphere. Drinks tasted great and the prices were pretty decent to!

We hired a table at Shooters from 19:30-22:30. We normally go to Riley's pool centre but decided to give Shooters go. Upon arrival there were people sat on all the table as the football was on, there was also beer glasses all over the tables. We were told it would calm down after the football. Once the football had finished the music was put on and turned up to nuclear level. The table that we were given was next to a wall so you couldn't play certain shots as the cue hit the wall. The table also had a lean due to people sitting on it, this meant you could not play slow shots, the cues we were given were bent. We were supposed to have table service throughout our evening, this happened once and then we didn't see the girl who was supposed to be serving us again for an hour so we decided to get our own drinks, she came back after we got our own drinks and laughed and said "you`re ahead of me" and we never saw her again. As the table is situated next to the bar and dance floor you constantly get drunken revellers approaching asking to play, we then had to keep explaining that we hired the table and this lead sarcastic comments and dirty looks from the increasingly battered punters. This is not a place to play pool, this is a pub with a pool table. I would have given zero stars but you have to give one. If you want to play pool without being hassled and you would like to easily get drinks through out the night and talk without shouting go to Riley's. I will never come here again.

Revising my previous review. Had 2 positive visits to watch football and thought why not try a pool night. We normally go to Rileys but didn't think we had much to lose by trying here. Well, it was a very poor choice. £60 for the booking but when I arrived it was chaos. They allocated a pool table right next to the rammed bar and there were a lot of people sat on it. After my friends arrived we all knew this had been a mistake, I asked for a refund and this was refused. "You're not giving me what I paid for" I said, "We've never done a refund before" was what I was told. Eventually enough people cleared out to enable us to use the table and we made the best of it but we got hassled throughout the night by extremely drunk people who were annoyed they couldn't just put down a quid and play. To explain, we literally had to shout due to volume of the music in there. It was an amusing experience but in all the wrong ways. Mortified that I arranged this farce. It's probably great if you're mid 20's and looking for stag and hen do atmosphere. We're all 45 and I should have known better. Back to Rileys then

We visited here to watch the football games - they chose not to put on the best game of the day and put a Munich game on where they had already won the league, when an important play off game was on. We then paid almost £5 for a HALF pint. We had to double check they hadn’t made a mistake .. terrible and wouldn’t bother returning. Ripping people off for the sake of it. Disappointing.

told they’re out of “student vodka” for the discount, if you don’t want to offer a student discount don’t put one in place don’t lie to customers instead

It's a great place to book for large parties. They give you nice food and play decent music and all is fine. And then it gets later in the night and the music volume just seems to go up and up and up to the point where I have to shout into someone's ear in order for them to hear me. How is this necessary? My hearing literally feels worse because of this. I'm genuinely concerned for the hearing of people going to these places because they'll be surprised to find they can't hear properly down the line. I covered my ears and could still hear the music perfectly fine. I'm standing 10 metres from the entrance as I type this and I can hear the music as if I was in a room with it. It's frustrating because I was having a great time until it felt like my ears might start bleeding.

Used to do a decent chicken fillet burger now replaced by a 50p asda frozen breadcrumb burger. Not reflected in menu. No skin on fries, no brioche bun in fact absolutely awful. Staff were "don't blame the messenger" manager was like supplies of chicken breasts / change of supplier blah blah. Just awful.

Went with a group of friends to watch the England game. Upstairs has a massive screen along with lots of smaller ones which makes this a great place to watch the sport. With that being said, the service was appalling. Waited 45 minutes for our first round and that was a short wait in comparison. Complete table service was a poor strategy from the manager on shift as downstairs allowed bar orders and was fairly swift. But when we asked for service to our table it never arrived. Despite repeatedly going to ask for service we were turned away abruptly. Only 2 orders were placed in the 3 hours we were at Shooters. Maybe it’s not like this all the time but poor management and slow waiters who were dismissive and unhelpful made this a poor visit.

Slow staff, useless at pulling pints when customers are stood at the bar waiting. They'd rather drink their monster than serve customers.

There is one bad waitress who was very mean to us

Would have been quicker to go behind the bar myself and poor it. Was waiting 1 hour before I even got served and then another 30 mins wait for my drink. Disappointed.

What a lifesaver, great hospitality from the staff and manager. Nearly had a disaster of a night thanks to another place letting us down without notice *cough* oneils *cough* we found ourselves wandering the streets of Nottingham at 11:30pm searching earnestly for a warm, comfy place surrounded by happy nfl fans for superbowl.. Wen thankfully we found our luck had turned.. We found Shooters 🙏 I explain our very bad luck to the door staff and manager, and praise the nfl gods, they had a table spare. Honestly they rescued us that night, we've all sworn to be back next year (don't worry ill book this time) Great service provided that night, unforgettable kindness. We will be back and are happily telling everyone we know how u saved our superbowl that night.

For a footy fan it's got what you need with good food and prices but when I went in, they had customers still been served that were waaaay too drunk. Also I ordered a pint and was charged full during happy hour as the bar lady told me the sign up there hasn't been changed yet. If its advertised it should be honoured right? Don't think I'd be returning for sometime now. Sorry

Busy place, with a great selection of sports to watch. Excellent variety on beers and first class service from behind the bar.

In front of the big screen for the Tottenham v Chelsea game, Fruli strawberry beer was excellent, but you have to fetch it from the bar downstairs, even though it is advertised behind the bar? Moved onto the Belgian white beer Blue Moon also excellent, the tables behind us where reserved for 4:30 when the lads turned up they ordered drinks & all disappeared to play some shove game on a long table leaving the tables redundant? Also noticed lots of lads coming here just to watch the football & not even buy a drink? Which I think the management should clamp down on.

Visited with friends after the match to have another drink at Shooters with the evening game on to watch, game boring, place a bit dull, one drink and moved on.

Tell when man utd is on TV.all the none drinkers out in force.all come in to watch the match.none buy a drink and take up all the seats leaving no room for people spending money.its about time they charged on the door and got your money back of the price of a drink.

Good for sports, managed to watch two games of rugby at the same time which is a bonus. Drinks decent price. Jaegermeister could have done with being stored in the fridge/freezer, and the veggie burger wasn't that nice

Shooters is the bar on the top floor of this establishment, it was busy on a Sunday afternoon with the football on most screens but no atmosphere, it was weird, we had one drink and went elsewhere.

Exactly as to be expected as a sports bar - lots of televisions playing sport - lots of seating and standing areas to view screens. Good place to watch games if that is your thing. Across three floors - German style bier keller downstairs is good fun. Can get busy and quite rowdy on a fri/sat night.

Just to start off by saying, I'm not a picky or hard to please person. I have been to many establishments in Nottingham over the years and have had lots of experiences usually good. Even though some of them have not been, at least staff have been polite until this afternoon. A friend and I went into the pub on Grand National Day just before 4pm. The place was buzzing and her family had been in there for quite some time and had managed to get a table near the big screen for the race. I went to the bar to get my friend and I a drink. A very grumpy faced young woman with blonde curly hair (maybe hair extensions) served me. No smile just very straight faced. Ok, maybe a bad day I thought. I asked her how much and she muttered the price but with it being loud, I couldn't hear and asked her to repeat herself. She then rolled her eyes and said it again. 'what no please I said to her' to which she uttered something to her colleague and she began to laugh. I gave her the money and she chucked the change in my hand and said sarcastically to have a nice day. Wow. Everyone back at the table asked if i was ok as my mood had changed. To be honest, i have never ever been spoken to by a member of staff in all the nearly 40 years I have been on this planet. Would I come back? NO I WON'T. Plenty more places to go to where they serve customers with manners and a smile. Judging by the lack of responses on here by the Manager/Owner they obviously don't care about feedback. If anyone there does read this, get this woman on a customer service course

I've been to that bar a few twice before because so friends wanted to and I got disappointed every time. First is no atmosphere and they have the worst staff, they are very rude and they have no idea about customer service.

We booked a shuffleboard table for 2 hours while coming to Nottingham, was definitely a good thing to do, as was a good laugh, sports bar upstairs and down is big so plenty of space to sit and plenty of screens up

We visited a second visit here after a very poor first visit involving undercooked chicken and rude, absent service. We really shouldn't have tried again. visiting on a saturday for an early family meal on the hotels recommendation, we arrived at 4.55pm on a saturday so the kids could play some shuffle board and have a meal out of the hotel room. The 4 huge bouncers on the door were an initial intimidation, as was squeezing past a group of 14 student lads all lining up to get inside. As we were partly in the door a female guard stopped us and said that children are only licensed until 6pm. We nodded and said that wouldn't be a problem and continued to walk in only to be stopped by her again in an exceptionally angry tone to say " but we stop entry at 5pm".....I said that given it wasn'y even 5 yet we would be in and out well before the 6pm licensing issue. " you're not going in" was her response, with her 4 huge friends standing either side of her staring at the two of us and three kids below 11 years of age. Absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. We let the hotel know this certainly wasn't a family venue, nor somewhere you woudl go for a meal at anytime during the day. It is obviously a beer cellar type venue downstairs and that is all they focus on or care about, selling cheap drinks to stag and uni groups. Avoid this venue , we gave it two chances on two seperate occasions visiting nottingham and will not be making the mistake again. our friends who were staying at another hotel came to the same venue/ door about 40 minutes later to find us but obviously we had gone to a mroe welcoming and suitable venue. They reported to us exactly the same issue and intimidation from the female bouncer and her team on the door. Poor communication,training, attitude and fundementally a poor choice of venue.

Too many people just coming in to watch football on big screen.not buying any drinrks and taking up all the seats.paying customers having to stand up.

Its an average sports bar in the city centre, there are plenty of places to drink in Nottingham and this one is busy but slow service, for a real sports bar go to the one with a similar name.

Great facilities, big screens, decent selection of beer. But there was one party that kept screaming unnecessarily and none of the staff made any efforts to address them or ask them to leave. Really spoiled the game since they weren't even watching it and shouting in anticipation toward it, just being drunken idiots, at 1.30pm. I run a bar and would have talked to them, asked them to quiet down, and if that had no effect would have cut them off and asked them to drink up or leave. Doubt I'll go back or visit other bars in the chain.

absolute KIP!! walked in with a group of lads, bouncers on the door at 2pm in the afternoon and its like the Plex here in Ireland, that turned into a bar with kids running round and music blaring!! Worst bar in Nottingham. didn't even have a drink.....couldn't get served!!

Vegan options clearly labelled on menu - including a vegan burger though it is just mushrooms.

Great bar to go and watch sports or play some table games with friends, the have a couple of pool tables and a pair of shuffle boards so if you have a group of friends visiting then here is a great place to go, happy to accept groups of ten+ good selection of drinks behind the bar, not too expensive, some huge screens, I mean you can see one of them from the street outside! Highly recommended.

So many good screens to view sports, always a sick atmosphere

Good beer choices, an excellent meal deal and big screens. One issue is the air con - blows cold all the time on to you and your hot food. Can't be adjusted apparently?

Was given a front row seat for the Champions League final, and table service was reasonably quick and reliable given how busy it was!

My boyfriend and I had a great time playing Shuffleboard for our first time. We went on a weekday so it was very quiet so we actually probably had the board for longer than our allocated time, but there was no one else waiting to play! The only reason it is 4*, not 5, is because the bar staff seem to have some familiar customers so they were stood chatting to these for a while until they realised someone else was waiting. We will definitely be coming back!

On account of our previous review, the management apologized and asked us to return as the rude bartender that served us had been let go for other reasons. This time we drank lots of beer, played pool and enjoyed a delicious pizza. The service and atmosphere was absolutely spot on and we likely will return with friends next time. Thanks for convincing us to give it a second shot. Well worth it. Previous Review: My boyfriend and I came here on Saturday night. We were enjoying our pints when tons of people started leaving and it became obvious that the bar was trying to close. We sat there and tried to finish our drinks quickly but not gulping them down. A waitress had come by to collect my empty glass, and left my boyfriends glass on the table which still had about 1/3 of beer in it. It was VERY obvious he was not finished. As we were talking to each other, the bearded bartender who had served us came by and took the pint glass away. My boyfriend jumped up and chased him across the bar, yelling "HEY!" the whole time. When he finally stopped, my bf said "I'm not finished" and he was rudely told by the bartender "you have 3 seconds to drink this," which he did and handed back. There were about 30 people still hanging around in the bar and the two of us who kept to ourselves the whole night did not hold anyone up from closing. We did not deserve to be spoken to so rudely and will not be coming back here.

Watched the rugby here on Saturday. The burger and chips I had were not very good. Meat was very dry and not much sauce either but the chips were ok.

Booked a table for 9, Sat 18th November (group aged from late 20s to mid 50s) on the £10.00 package - includes one drink plus Bratwurst and fries - to watch England vs Australia. Booking process was very efficient, with email confirmation. All agreed the experience exceeded expectations. Table service was very good, Bratwurst tasty and our designated staff member checked that we were happy throughout the afternoon, reflected in our tip. Great viewing position and a high quality screen. Will be booking again for the Six Nations!

Three bars in one building brilliant idea and what a choice from shots,beers and steins TVs everywhere try the shuffle boards great fun.top floor views of friar lane and market square.definately recommend a visit.

Great atmosphere even without the sports. A little pricey on drinks unless you are in the happy hour. Always busy and much better than the World bar below.

My eldest Grandson loves to pop in to play the new shufle boards (if you ask me, it's like curling), he's quite good at it!

Went here with friends for a night out, only meant to pop in but stayed the whole night. Great atmosphere and fantastic service.

Popped in at lunch time with a colleague, my first time in the venue. Its size is impressive and must have a great atmosphere when big sporting occasions are on. Cant believe the size of the screens !

Went to see the game of thrones on the massive HD screens and wasn't disappointed, had the nachos and a couple of burgers all great quality!

Cheap Steins and good atmosphere

We were celebrating an 18th birthday on Saturday and as it was FA Cup Final day and he was an Arsenal fan (don't ask!) I thought that the newly opened Shooters would be a great choice. I had been to the Shooters in Leeds and had a great time. So the 15 of us booked a package in the week and pre-paid 275 quid between us. You could tell it was going to be a complete disaster when we walked up the stairs at just before 4 (an hour and a half before kick off) and there was nobody there to great us. We have booked table service so somebody there to great you would be a good start. We then had to ask a few people to get our table which proved slightly complicated. We then proceeded to sit down and expected said table service to come and ask if we would like our free drinks..........we waited.......and waited. After having to ask for our free drinks a tray of shots came (and went quickly) and then had to ask again for our free cans. They arrived and then that was it till around half time when we had to ask various people if we were going to get our food. The food eventually came out for a few of our party and what came out was cold and sub-standard. By this time I asked to speak to a manager. He gave the usual line about being apologetic and asked what we wanted. Sorry you are a manager so control the situation and put things right. He then went to authorise a refund with the 'General Manager'. He then came back and offered us a refund on everything apart from the cans of lager we had drank. By this time we were all extremely annoyed (putting it politely) and hungry so just decided to leave. Everything about our visit was just sub standard and poor. Next time there is a group of us wanting to watch the football we will go the Southbank across the road.

This is a great venue with a beerkeller downstairs and the sports bar upstairs. The prices of the drinks and food was very reasonable and there was a multitude of screens in the sports bar and pool tables. This is a great venue if you wanted to pre-drink before your night out.

Sports bar that says all live sports but a little misleading. Just felt like a hot spot for uni students. One drink and outta there!

Three bars in one so we are in top floor Shooters 8/4 Saturday afternoon Grand National day good atmosphere packed out, disgusting they do not sell any local hand pulled beer, but hay ho its a "American based sports bar" had a very quaffable fruit beer second round a very crisp pint of Peroni Nastro Azzurro both rounds with a double Malibu £11 each, four of our friends turned up & we sat in the large front window in some very comfortable seating, with a cracking view over Friar lane, found a Stanley knife blade tucked between the wall & carpet? Gave it to the floor manager he said there finding stuff all the time the contractors never cleaned up? Surprised there where some very small children there not sure its a place for kids? Grand National got the second 16/1

Brought my mate in here as he'd not visited yet so went in before the comedy night at glee had few drinks played pool we'd just missed out on the free pool play as it's only till 5 be better if it was 6, after winning 2 games we ordered food I opted for the BBQ flat bread with rocket onion and jalapeño even though I actually asked for none they left them on but luckily it wasn't to spicy. Mate ordered the goats cheese but the downside was it was a bit burnt underneath a little less it would have been nice and soft overall service and food was nice and the little tinder box my flatbread came in was cool ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Refused to serve bar food from 8.40pm onwards due to kitchen saying they were shut. Lots of people asking. All refused. Bartenders appeared confused as to why the kitchen had stopped serving

We had a few drinks in the Shooters all the drinks are on the same level as all others they have some good offers in the week for midweek trips

Was ok, drinks etc were reasonably priced. Main issue was that I paid £5.00 for a thimble full of fries and the over aggressive and weirdly perversive security accused me of using the the female toilets.
