Starbucks in Nottingham

Horrific. I ordered a 5 cheese toastie and a Frappuccino. I got the Frappuccino no toastie and the drink had LEAKED with NO STRAW genuinely pathetic how you can’t carry out a simple common sense task

Very dirty, no clean tables and staff attitude was poor, and why there's a key code on the toilet that no one can get in is ridiculous

My friend and I, went there last week. The smell of urine , the floor was sticky , crumbs everywhere. The toilet , it was disgusting 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

We came at around 9am to have breakfast. Bad customer service, the lady assumed that the food is for takeaway and so they gave us the food cold and wrapped , so I asked if they could put it in a plate and heat it up but the guy serving was rude. Even gave me my coffee heavy handed and let me put the lid and the coffee sleeve myself . Worst experience in a Starbucks coffee shop as I’ve always had great experience and ambience in other Starbucks branches. What a shame as supposed to be a nice location but never coming back .

Unreasonably too expensive. First of all, everything, including your hot drink, is served in paper cups. A cheese toast costs £5.50 – two slices of bread with a little cheese!

Great coffee cakes ect service is good.. the only thing that let's it down is the cleanliness especially the toilet sorry

I came down to Nottingham for a friend's birthday weekend, I went to this Starbucks, The staff were very lovely, The beyond meat Plant based breakfeast Sandwich was delicious, The Latte with Soya milk was amazing too :)

This gets a 4 overall as the staff are lovely despite it being a busy cafe. The location is ideal as it is just off of Old Market Square so perfect for people watching no matter the time! The drinks are the same as every Starbucks - over priced and average. It is good that you can get a wide range of frappe drinks, larger than most places. One of the staff also saved me from an unwanted conversation with a man when I was sitting outside which is above and beyond as the staff member was apparently on their break at the time!

This Starbucks scores a four because of exceptional customer service, ideal location and unique design of space. In terms of the drinks itself, they lack a little in terms of taste factor due to the rush of customers but it’s an ideal place to study, work remotely or network. As a foodie and coffee drinker, I uphold very high standards in terms of taste factors and I felt this place was satisfactory in terms of it but not out of this world hence the four stars.

I'm not impressed how dirty the store was at 6:50 am on a weekday. Otherwise, it is a standard Starbucks.

Fast service, great coffee as per usual. Did t eat anything or sit in so cannot comment on that.

Was booked in for 12 table was split in to a 8 and a 4 , paid for afternoon tea and the price each for the amount u got was disgusting especially as it was shared platter between two.. the sandwiches were dry as had been sat in hotplate waiting for service, as everyone was more interested in serving the 60 that was booked in

Now I remember why I don't use Starbucks. Nottingham UK, market square. Yes they still ask your name, but as we come from Norfolk they don't pick up the correct name/spelling. Hence they got it wrong. Now did may say don't be petty but call me old fashioned by my name describes me and it's personal. We not only had a coffee, served in the card cup ( other chains still gone it to you in a real cup ) but the cakes served in a paper bag. When I asked for a plate, they didn't have any as they need to go through the dish washer. So we are being educated to eat off a paper bag. When you think about it, how hygienic is that? Agreed I'm in advanced years, but I am paying. Well not any more in Starbucks. They are lucky to get the 2 stars.

Messy. Floors, seats and entrance covered in rubbish. Get a brush and a mop.

Fast service, nice coffee, and decent views. It is a great place to watch the world go by.

Had to have paper cups again as the dishwasher was broken again

Staff more interested in standing around gossiping than serving customers, leaving me waiting to be served and not even acknowledged when drink was ready. This has become a consistent experience at Starbucks Vs other coffee chains and no wonder the business isn't doing well and they're always quiet. Dirty cups, plates, tables and litter strewn about inside, ignored by staff who are stood around gossiping. Won't bother again.

Always love starbucks and the staff are always so welcoming and nice. I don't hink I have ever been into a starbucks and not received good service. My go to drink is always the same - regular soya caramel machiato, extra hot and extra caramel sauce. The best coffee in the entire world :-)

All drink & food was served in paper cups & boxes even though we were sitting in. We had to clean our own table. All of the tables were filthy and cluttered with used cups & napkins etc. Not one table was cleaned whilst we were there. A staff member just started her shift and walked past the dirty tables. Not the best experience. You need to employ staff who take hygiene seriously.

Tables are clearly not cleaned along with the sugar area, absolutely disgusting.

Went in around 12.40 today - filthy dirty shop !!!!!!! Omg the disabled toilet/baby change - wouldn't even take my dog in there!!!! The stench of urine was unbelievable- needs closing down- its minging !!!!!

The restaurant was disgusting empty cups etc all over the place, staff more interested in their phones. The toilet was a swamp of piss stunk to high heaven

great food but extremely cold the weather was 3 degrees outside and i came inside to find the air conditioning was on right over all the available seats felt as if i couldn’t move i was that cold

I advised I was drinking in and was given a takeout beaker. Expected a cup and saucer, call me old fashioned. Youth hadn't ordered anything and was just using the place to have a nap! Poor experience

Great staff and service. Drinks was made quick and tasted great. Was very busy but still managed to keep on top of cleanliness and professionalism. Will be back.

Lost 2 stars as the tables had not been wiped or cleaned. I was there for an hour and the area around me was not cleared, it was not that busy so no excuse.

Love this Starbucks the staff are brilliant so helpful and friendly.

When I got my order I remembered why I tend to go to independent coffee shops and not these franchises... simply because franchises like this one are all falling behind on how to make nice coffee. Very weak milky drinks ideally if you are a kid and want to have breakfast but in my humble opinion not for coffee lovers.

Ordered two coffees and trio of cakes. Didn’t receive cakes. It’s a simple job to follow an order….very bad service!

Absolutely awful, dirty, paper cups, paper bags instead of plates. Cold coffee. Toilet disgusting, tables not cleared, will not return to this Starbucks ever.

I went today and it was full of flies. No one seemed to be wiping tables and my toasty came stuck to my serviette and I had to pick it off. Won’t be returning

I've been into this store a few times either with friends or to do some work and the staff are always friendly and welcoming, especially Josh. The only thing I would say about this store is that the doors are left open a lot, obviously something that the staff cannot help, just something to be aware of if you get cold easily!

Oh my days a truly awful experience- hot chocolate was horrendous, tables were dirty,toilets were discusting- when i told the staff all i got was a shrug of the shoulders- not in the slightest bit interested snd just wanted to carry on talking to their friends who had brought Greggs in - absolutely discusting and definitely would not recommend- Starbucks has really gone down hill

Don't order from here. Didn't bother informing me that items weren't available. Unhelpful staff. There are a thousand better places to order from. Just eat and then I had to wait days for a refund. Overall absolute rubbish.

This branch let's down the Starbucks name. I will never use Starbucks again & will recommend to everyone not to use them. AVOID AVOID AVOID

A grim experience for both of us. Hot Chocolate was obviously made from instant powder, yet commanded a hefty price, and came in a paper cup. The 'cheese' straw was a soggy limp experience, and the Pan au Chocolat was no better than Lidl's but 5 times the price. No surprise when you see the staff going to the nearby Gregg's when on their break - we should have done the same.

It's Starbucks... it sells Starbucks coffee (which is OK if you drown it in milk). but it opens early and is open until 10, whish given its location is brave. It is right on the tramstop in the main square in Nottingham and has a fantastic vista. But it is still a chain coffee shop in a city of uniqueness:-(

I always thought it was good here. I think the staff are good. I have no issues with them. It gets really cold here though I mean people always leave the doors open so you have to sit with your coat on. It has been like this for a few years now and I think the doors need fix so they auto shut. Just a shame some people are dumb and don't shut it behind them. The toilets are grubby, gotta admit that's people again, and beggars coming in stealing drinks seems to be a common thing in Nottingham these days. The place can be a bit messy with people leaving drinks behind and the staff there seems little of them so it's understandable if they can't clean everything I try to go elsewhere like Dunkin donuts as it's warmer.

Was in a while ago and given a takeaway cup and charged for it, I was not asked which type of cup I wanted. Second visit I asked for a mug, I was told the dishwasher was broken and they wanted to charge me for a takeaway cup. Left without buying. Seems this store wants to use more disposable cups, and you to pay for them. This is wasteful, and not good for the environment, but hey I suppose it saves time and money collecting and washing them, especially when you pay the extra for the disposable cup.

Starbucks is Starbucks, all regular, good service, same products you find all over the world

Ive been here a few times and each time is worst than the one before. The coffee always tastes like water, the place is always dirty and messy, and the drinks take a bit of time to get ready. This is the worst starbucks I have been to

Food and drinks are good. Plenty of seating and nice temperature in there. The toilets are a mess however.

So dirty that customers had to ask staff to clean tables. Drinks spilled on floor, crumbs everywhere. Toilets were so bad I couldn't use them, as well as their being no toilet roll. Tasty drink tho.

Pretty disappointing experience

Didn't go yet me and my mum was thinking of going for Coffee breakfast or brunch that's only with my persunts supervision if when can with both of my persunts only on my birthdays probably 2024 don't know yet. Last time was last year's a go with my mum.

Order one drink served another. When queried is was because they didn't have what you paid for available. Despite drinking in , with a proper mug they added 5p paper cup surcharge on. Totally hopeless

Extremely slow service, ordered two drinks one was made and then the other was forgotten and left half made. Kept trying to get staff attention but was ignored, 5 other people were served before me. By the time I got someones attention they finished my drink but as it was a iced drink it was mostly melted.

Just a quick pitstop for a coffee staff were very busy, but was very welcoming and was very pleasant!!

I asked for a flat white Father but they forget it, plus I asked the Barista to clean the table and he asked for which table but I'm going to sit on, but no one comes.

I was there as my first visit to the city, and the service s amazing not just a normal level but all staff members were genuinely helpful just about anything! Especially the gentleman he goes above and beyond! Well done!

Ordered a Salted Caramel Cream Cold Brew from Starbucks and it was awful. The only ingredient true to description was the ice! The cream was frothed milk using some powder to jazz it up and the coffee came from a bottle. I couldn't taste the caramel which was added to the "cream". The frothy white stuff floating on top would not mix with the coffee so basically I had a black unsweetened coffee tasting iced drink. Don't waste your money in Starbucks...

My daughter had an allergic reaction on Monday caused by either the wrong ingredients or equipment not being washed properly. I rang on Tuesday after having to take her to the doctors surgery and was told a manager would ring me today. No phone call No one is answering the phones !! Completely discussed and very concerned.

Always try to avoid ordering from this starbucks on deliveroo as 9 times out of 10 they’re going to forget something. No care or diligence seems to be put into your order at all. Every other starbucks in nottingham is fine on uber eats, unfortunately this is the only option when using deliveroo. I literally never write reviews but after waiting an hour for a spilled coffee and a missing toastie…. how hard can it be.

Could give stars in negative: I mean barista called Vince was so lazy, he was not shaking any refresher, I saw him making 2 refresher before me, no shake at all, poor customer. I want my drinks to be shaken so I asked: he literally got offended, did 2 times and tried to have a fight with me. I mean straight into take away cup, not even right measurement. Everything is abra ka Dabra. VINCE should have refresher training again so he realise how to make drinks. Over all attitude was so negative that u don’t wanna go there again. Poor customer service.

Part of my Nottingham cafe review series! Lovely staff!!! regular Starbucks flavoured coffee (I got the brown sugar oat shaken espresso) but the outside area smells slightly like sewage -- ????? I can't tell if it's the neighbouring buildings or just a specific drainage issue nearby but it made me move after sitting down :(.

Nice coffee shop. Reallt expensive though. Not a lot of food choices but decent drink selection.

I go there 4th day in a row to get my frappuccino,they always say “sorry we run out of the ice” is it that difficult to go tesco to get some ice ?Its not even that busy not to be able to send one of the member of staff to get ice. Have a nice day:)

Chairs and tables are dirty and sticky, floor needs a good mop up as well. The only reason why I am writing this review is because it is unfortunately not a firts time this is happening. I don't come back here that's for sure. I am expecting a much higher standard for that sort of money.

Would have been much easier and quicker to go home and make a coffee. You make your order, they take your money, you wait for a long long time for a simple black coffee. Because there is a drive through and online ordering you simply can't make a judgement on how long you're going to wait. My advise, don't bother.
