Caffe Rizzoli in Nottingham

Dirty saucers, had to get my own drinks as they was just left on side waiting whilst staff just slowly walked around, staff touching food with there hands on your plate at table as food nearly fell off plate.... not very hygienic...vanilla milkshake..just milk, for the price would not recommend or be back.

Solo comentan malas experiencias en lugar de las buenas o el funcionamiento del molino. La gente también olvida que algunos días en todos los negocios, puede haber un desastre de un día que yo por qué no pongo mi fe en algunas de las críticas en este sitio. Un día de cada 365 días las cosas pueden salir desastrosamente mal, pero ese día se informa en este sitio y un establecimiento realmente excelente obtiene una mala puntuación. Lo mismo sucede con lo contrario. He comido en muchos lugares en un buen día, pero 364 días al año es terrible. Rizzoli es uno de esos raros ejemplos de calidad y servicio constante y regular. No todas las visitas que he hecho han sido al 100% pero cada una ha sido de 3 a 5 estrellas. Tomemos por ejemplo mi primera visita, un tranquilo domingo a la hora de comer en pleno invierno, una taza de café caliente y un auténtico cannoli. En un ambiente relajado un aperitivo y una buena bebida le habría dado un 5 sobre 5. Mi próxima visita de nuevo otro domingo a la hora del almuerzo, un poco más frenético, un miembro del personal llamó enfermo y el café un poco ocupado que antes, así que tuve que esperar un poco más para mi almuerzo, un pomodoro y mozzarella bocadillo caliente. un buen día y un mal día me hubiera dado un 3 estrellas o tal vez un 4 estrellas. Mi visita más reciente fue con un amigo, un sábado ocupado a la hora del almuerzo, casi todas las mesas llenas, pero un par se despejan rápidamente. Estábamos sentados inmediatamente, y el menú de bebidas nos fue traído. Aunque es un bar prosecco (su vino proviene de un viñedo familiar en Italia), tiene una buena gama de café, café italiano propiamente dicho; fuerte, profundo y rico. Con platos como sándwiches fríos y calientes como Pomodoro e Mozzarella (queso y tomate) tanto fríos como calientes, sándwich frío de langostino y aguacate servido con una pequeña ensalada con uno de los más deliciosos aderezos y patatas fritas, risotto, pasta, comidas ligeras no puede equivocarse con el brunch y el almuerzo o incluso una cena temprano por la noche. Añada a eso una variedad de postres, pasteles, auténticos cannoli, Tiramisú apropiado y no descuidado y un excelente helado italiano, pastel de queso limón siciliano. Incluso el desayuno tiene un toque italiano con jamón, champiñón y Mozzarella en pan tostado o Rarebit estilo italiano con Pancetta (mi favorito). Su ubicación era luminosa y ventilada y daba la sensación sofisticada de un café en la acera en medio de una ciudad como Milán (no estoy exagerando, me trajo recuerdos de estar sentado en un café en la acera de Milán donde por cierto había tomado un café maravilloso. ) Mi amigo y yo pasamos 1 hora y media charlando y almorzando y no en ningún momento nos preguntaron si queríamos nuestra factura todavía como he experimentado en otros cafés y restaurantes, pero luego la cultura italiana celebra el disfrute de la comida y la buena compañía es parte de su cultura y patrimonio. Nunca te apresurarán en un restaurante en Italia y tampoco en Rizzoli. Esta visita fue de 5 sobre 5. Ubicado en el Upper Mall en Victoria Centre, Nottingham, junto al reloj Emet, el Caffe está abierto todos los días de lunes a viernes de 9 am a 5 pm, los sábados de 9 am a 6 pm y de 11 am a 5 pm los domingos. Reserve o simplemente caminar hasta todos los clientes bienvenidos

Dos cafés con leche, una jarra diminuta de crema y dos pasteles mediocres... el precio era de 19 libras. 50 ! Absurdamente caro y los pasteles eran más agradables

Siempre me encanta su café. Llamado hoy con un amigo que es celíaco, el gerente vino con menú y aconsejó lo que era adecuado bastante selección. Los dos pedimos un bocadillo amigos era sin gluten, muy sabroso y fresco, patatas fritas, ensalada también. volveremos de nuevo cuando en Nottingham. Bonito ambiente

I had eaten in this place for years. Today, after an absence of a couple of months, I was totally appalled by the food. Eggs benedict with crispy bacon. Crispy? It was burnt to a cinder, black. Couldn't eat it . One of the eggs was hard, the sauce bland. Like many other places, even this one is going downhill.

Waited 20 mins each time for a possecco, i had 2. They stacked dhelves , served every one else. Stood talking and dhe rolled her eyes skyward because I asked where my drinks were atmpsphere was spoilt by attitude. The young man was nice and got me my second drink.

it was a bit damp outside so we called into the Victoria Centre to do a bit of retail therapy. I was in need of a cup of tea too, so we stopped at Caffe Rizzoli. Srervice was good and the tea was wonderful.

I was sat in Rizzoli for ages without being served. During the time we sat waiting other customers had orders taken, food delivered and paid. We had to get up and get our own menus and no apology was given. Absolutely shambolic service from start to finish. Food arrived slightly warm rather than hot.

Took my friend for a breakfast and found the service from Gareth to be most satisfying and a very pleasant experience. Lovely food and fast efficient service. Thank you.

The best ice cream i’ve ever had, They offer free samples so you know what you want before buying and the staff were very friendly!

I wish I could say it was a nice experience but it wasn’t. We came for a lunch and coffee but 5 members of staff were too busy talking rather than greeting and serving us. We felt completely ignored so after 15 mins and 2 cocktails we just left.

The staff are welcoming and helpful the atmosphere is nice and the food is excellent the scrambled egg is proper scrambled egg not watery or sloppy can't wait to go back.

Prawn rissotto,- one prawn not cleaned Sicilian lemon tart didn't come with any cream or ice cream. Disappointed!

This is a really lovely little cafe to visit, every member of staff have the same temperament, polite, friendly, helpful and just so lovely, everyone should go check them out.

Popped into town a little too early for most shops, so I stopped off for a coffee. I have to say it was one of the finest cappuccino's I've had outside Italy. If it was good, I wouldn't write a review but this was better than great.

Quality of food, coffee and properly chilled beer would give it higher but staff worked liked like they were sentenced to work today.

It was my first visit to Cafe Rizzoli and it won't be my last ! There something appealing about it ? It was a very clean well presented place , staff dressed very smartly in classic Italian restaurant styled uniforms. Very polite and respectful . My order of Americarno coffee was very good to taste along with a Bacon bap with a subtle slice of cooked tomato 🍅 hidden beneath a pile of perfectly prepared bacon pieces . I highly recommend trying this reasonable priced taste of Italy in the Victoria centre ...

Women who served us is rude hardly talked... didnt ask if we were finished before taking our plates. Very grumpy seem she didn't want to be here. She hardly talked to us. Very rude!!! N I usually have good service here.

My Wife and I stopped at Rizzoli's in the Victoria Centre, Nottingham, for breakfast this morning. I am so glad that we did! We received a very warm welcome and we both ordered the 6 item Italian Breakfast. It arrived quickly and was perfectly cooked and presented. A very tasty breakfast, thoroughly recommended!

Myself and my parents decided to have coffee and scone their which is brilliant. I found the scone was tasty and good along with good drinks services. The staff was helpful and friendly anyway.

Mi esposa y yo visitamos Cafe Rizzoli el miércoles 22 de julio alrededor de la 1 pm. Hemos visitado aquí un puñado de veces durante los últimos dos años y nunca hemos tenido ningún problema.Ambos tuvimos una clara plana cada uno y huevos revueltos sobre tostadas con salmón ahumado. Disfrutamos de la comida y todo estuvo bien, luego media hora más tarde, cuando estábamos terminando nuestras compras, mi esposa y yo comenzamos a sentirnos mal, teníamos dolor de estómago duplicado, experimentamos mareos, sudores calientes, mi garganta y Los labios y la lengua empezaron a hincharse y, finalmente, estaba luchando por ponerse de pie.Nos fuimos a casa temprano porque obviamente no estábamos lo suficientemente bien para seguir comprando. Durante toda la tarde y hasta bien entrada la noche, ambos sufrimos tanto como durante el día.No estamos seguros de qué causó que nos pasara esto, si fue el salmón el que estaba apagado o un blanco plano poco fiable.Pero sé con certeza que nunca volveremos a comer aquí, después de lo mal que nos enfermamos. Pero no podemos elogiar lo suficiente el servicio.

¡Debe ser desalentador cuando recibes reseñas como las que preceden a las mías!Lo bueno: está convenientemente situado en el primer piso del Victoria Center.La ubicación física es un poco desafortunada en términos de ambiente y me recordó a un salón del aeropuerto. (Techos altos y situados con compradores pasando por todos lados)No participé del bar con licencia, pero sí tomé un café decente. El servicio fue un poco lento, y el personal parecía estar en un funeral. ¡Intenté entablar una conversación, pero fallé miserablemente!

Shopping is never a favourite pastime of mine but when I saw Caffe Rizzoli it was the perfect opportunity to relax and have a coffee.While I ordered my coffee I noticed a coffee and cake deal for GBP6.95 which I thought was great value. There was a good variety of cakes to choose from with a choice of accompanying cream or ice-cream included. I was given a table number and after a few minutes my coffee and cake arrived. The cake tasted as good as it looked and the coffee was smooth and had a pleasant taste. I will certainly return and try some of the other menu offerings. Not a coffee fiend like me? then like a friend have one of Rizzoli's ice-cream cones, he had a chocolate one and hasn't stopped talking about it since.Drew22

I’m referring to the miserable faces of the waitresses in this place. At least two of them clearly hate their jobs or the customers or both. I bring my daughter here on occasion as she loves the ice cream - which is actually very good. It’s just a shame it’s not served with a smile. I sat and observed the other day and not once did either of them raise a smile, barely make eye contact or talk to the customers. They may as well be robots and spoil what could otherwise be a potentially nice cafe.

Came here to have afternoon tea. I waited half an hour for the food. When i asked the staff i was told, 'other food had to come out'. Disappointed by this service and staff as i got dirty looks for asking twice for the food.

Llamé a tomar un café para que mi hermana me mostrara el reloj especial en el centro. El servicio fue extremadamente lento y ni siquiera estaba ocupado.Esperé unos buenos 10 minutos, así que me acerqué al mostrador para que me dijeran que era un servicio de mesa.Esperé por lo menos otros 10-15 antes de tomar nuestro café y luego para siempre recibir la factura. ¡El personal tuvo tiempo de pararse y charlar entre ellos!Muy mal servicio al cliente!

This place looks nice but a little disappointing if you have an allergy other than gluten! The service began well and a nice waitress sat us down and took our drinks orders. Another waitress came over to take our food order, however when I asked about certain foods being soya free I was advised they no longer have the box and could not inform me, but advised me of what was gluten free. Sadly another case of an allergy not being understood despite being one of the main 14 allergies that have recently caused loss of life in other restaurants. Once again I had to sit and watch my friend eat whilst I sat there with no food but with what was actually a nice glass of Prosecco. Setting is nice, the bubbly is lovely and everyone is friendly but I wouldn’t advise a visit unless you are celiac and allergy free

Milkshakes that cost £3.75 each with ice cream should most definitely be cold to drink, especially on a hot day.

This place looks great, promises much and delivers underwhelmingly.

I stopped by Caffe Rizzoli for lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the variety of options on the menu. The place is light and airy (being in the middle of the upper mall of the Victoria centre) more for people watching than those looking for a little nook to get their laptop out. There was plenty of seating and no wait on a Saturday, they cater for children and big buggies (plus baby changing is close by). The food was nice, certainly better than your average fare, we had cheeseburger, chicken burger and scrambled eggs with salmon. My only negative is the kitchen is small so at busy times it may take a while to get the food out, we waited a while but over all I was impressed and would certainly go back.

Based in Intu Victoria Center in an open restaurant on the upper floor close to House of Fraser. The location was fantastic and because of this it creates a fast paced atmosphere.

I had expectations given the nice presentation and service but the food quality let this place down. The tuna salad looked like, if a can of tuna was put upside down on salad, my panini ciabatta was very soaked and chewy, the chocolate cake was half icing and the coconut ice cream was whipped double cream with coconut powder and the cheese cake tasted like a piece of cheese on a sugar base made in 2 seconds and left on a shelf to age

I called in with a friend today for drinks after our shopping trip. My friend ordered a cocktail and I chose gin and tonic. I asked the waiter for slimline tonic as I am diabetic and can't have the sugar in the normal version. When our drinks came mine was with a bottle of normal tonic. I went to the counter and asked for them to swap it. I was then told they don't stock the slimline version even though the waiter had taken my order for it. They then offered me soda water instead which I of course declined. I decided to choose another drink and asked for a diet coke. The waitress was obliging and apologetic about the tonic. 20 minutes later my friend had finished her drink and so had the other customers . I unfortunately still hadn't received mine and at that point gave up . It's not like they were amazingly busy and the waitress had looked over to our table numerous times. Surely she could see that I didn't have a drink. My friend went to pay for her drink and they had actually tried to charge for the coke I hadn't received. It was taken off the bill without any argument. All in all it was highly disappointing and spoilt the end of a lovely day.

Dropped by here for lunch whilst shopping the other day and im so glad we did. I had the lasagne and the wife had a gorgeous chicken and pesto pasta.

Stopped off here with my mum during a shopping trip and was not disappointed! The food was so fresh & tasty and the service was sharpe. All washed down with a delicious latte. Will definitely return.

A delightful place, with excellent food and quite divine cakes and pastries. Staff always so cheerful and kind, help to make it a great pleasure to be there.

Visiting Notttingham for the first time I wished to have a quick lunch, and selected a ciabata meal from the menu, plus a vanilla milk shake. The meal was tasty and well presented, but I was disappointed with the milk shake; the latter, although described as made from ice cream, was no different than the vanilla flavoured milk sold at some supermarkets for a fraction of the price. The service was friendly and reasonably prompt. I look forward to trying something else from the menu should I visit Nottingham again.

Passing through Victoria Shopping centre decided to try it out for a coffee. Glad we did! Coffee was delicious - as expected being an Italian brand. Interesting and mouthwatering menu of Italian lunches and cakes on offer . Next time we'll try out the Rizzoli afternoon tea which includes a unique range of Italian cakes and breads with savoury toppings. Set in a rather pleasant location next to the Clock tower. Well worth a visit.

We have been here a couple of times when shopping in the Victoria Centre. Service is friendly and efficient and our food was attractively presented.
