Today I ordered a Large coconut hot chocolate and it was made by a tallish ginger man with tattoos who made it for me and He made it in a normal milk hot chocolate jug with normal milk still left behind, all he gave it was a 2 second rinse but there was still clearly normal milk and powder left behind. I am lactose intolerant and though It's not too bad for me, for other who might be allergic that's a big no-no. Disgusting

2 meals wrong 1 drink wrong. Never had this at any other wetherspoons. Won't be going again. Disgusting

No confíe en que la cocina esté abierta. Es decepcionante que, aunque este pub es el grifo de la cervecería, parecen ser incapaces de garantizar que la comida siempre esté disponible. Esta es una decepción no infrecuente.

La comida era preciosa, pero el servicio era terrible. No hay menús, así que tienes que ir al mostrador a mirar el menú y te recibe una mujer con cara de piedra que espera que sepas lo que quieres inmediatamente. De todos modos, no dejamos que nos molestara. Pedimos nuestra comida, se sirvió dentro de un buen tiempo y disfrutamos de cada bocado. Fue tan bueno que decidimos volver al día siguiente. Llegamos a las 2. 30 de nuevo para ser recibido por una mujer de cara de piedra (alguien diferente esta vez por lo que debe ser un tema) para que nos digan que tenemos hasta las 2 . 50 . ¿Es por encargo? ¿Para comer? ¿Hasta cerca? Cuando se nos pidió que expliquemos nos dijeron que cerrarían a las 3 y ella empezará a barrer alrededor de nosotros a las 2. 50, pero todavía podíamos pedir y que han estado allí desde las 7 am como si deberíamos haber sabido y llegado antes. Solo estábamos en Nottingham porque mi hija está recibiendo radioterapia allí. Tiene ojos, es obvio por la calva de mis hijas que es pobre así que un poco de compasión podría haber sido agradable. Decidimos que no queríamos pedir, esperar por la comida y tener prisa para comer. Quizás si cierras a las 3 pm, deja de tomar pedidos a una hora en la que tus clientes puedan disfrutar de la comida por la que pagan un buen dinero. A PESAR de todo lo anterior (así de buena es la comida) , regresamos esta mañana porque mi hija quería un rollo de tocino antes de su tratamiento. Estaba muy ocupado, pero esperé en la fila de todos modos. Después de 10 minutos sin acuse de recibo, me fui. Una sonrisa va muy lejos. Lamentablemente, parece que ninguna de las mujeres que trabajan allí sabe cómo hacerlo.

Gran pub gótico/rock muy estilizado con fantásticos cócteles y excelente música a todo volumen. Trata de encontrar los baños, no están colocados en letreros

Lovely sunny day and a great place to enjoy a pint near the supposed castle! We wanted to eat but the kitchen was closed so we went elsewhere after 1 drink

Really pleasant place, nice place, super clean toilets pleasant smelling (unique for men's toilets) genuinely decent place would recommend.

Good location, peaceful & very clean 🧼 I could NOT find any rubbish anywhere therefore, 5 stars ✨ no less..

A nice pub, large and well kept. I just couldn’t help feeling that something was missing however, which for me was warmth and friendliness. No real welcome was received and there felt to be a slightly suppressed atmosphere. I could be wrong but it didn’t seem to be a happy place.

We arrived and no one was at the hotel - we needed to have given them a specific time before arriving but unfortunately had not seen the messages sent via booking.com. Despite apologising the man was very rude and shouted at us down the phone. We then waited 45 minutes for someone to come and check us in (this is our fault but be aware that you must give them a time). Then an additional service charge was taken. The room we stayed in was fine, except for bedding and towels were very clearly older and completely mismatched. Our bathroom was down the hall and whilst clean the shower was of poor condition. It did not attach to the wall so to shower you had to hold the shower at all times and the shower cables length meant to wash your hair, for example, you needed to sit down. In addition to this the walls were very thin so by going at a weekend there’s was lots of disturbances from people coming back after nights out. Check out however, was easy and the location was the best part about our stay, it was a short walk from the car park, the castle and the main part of the centre. When we return to Nottingham we would choose to pay extra and stay somewhere that felt more legitimate.

Sadly not a great experience- ordered 2 steak pies with chips, mushy peas, gravy and curry sauce. When I got home I'd actually got 1 steak pie and 1 chicken and mushroom pie. All the products were only luke warm and the chips were quite rubbery so had been sitting for a while. Normally the food is good but on this occasion I was very disappointed 😞
