Only marked atmosphere 3 as it was mid afternoon and only 4 people in there.

Crafty crow - cheeky prices. £6 for a pint of hand pumped ‘BG sips +1’ is not a normal Nottingham price. Other than that underhand rip off ( i.e price not listed on the screens above the bar) , not a bad place.

My stop for a quick pint on an evening dog walk. The staff are always lovely.

Very disappointed in the quantity of food …. Tasty but meagre portions. Service very good.

Excellent food, cocktails and service 👌🏼 We spent the day in Nottingham and decided to stop for food outside Nottingham castle. During our visit we were mostly served by Barnaby who provided outstanding service! There was a special offer on cocktails so we had a few each. They were customised to our liking, brought to our table and they were beautifully crafted. The burgers and crispy chips were amazing too!

Went on a Wednesday night, reasonably priced beer, dreadful music.

Food was lovely, however popped in for a relaxed lunch and spent the whole time listening to people blowing up balloons for a balloon arch (and the continuous popping of ballons) presume these were needed for s private event, however should have been done when the bar wasn't open or somewhere away from paying members of the public. The constant noise of what sounded like a hand dyer, accompanied by loading banging from balloons popping, made for an irritating lunch.

Top class bar in a prime location, with equally premium selection of craft ales and lagers. Service is top notch.

Decent pub. Well kept ales (3) and a box of real cyder as well as usual keg fayre. Pub is light and open and the light pub food menu is very reasonable for the size of the portions

Only popped in for adrink, but great place to relax and unwind. A good place to meet friends and relax.

Amazing and friendly staff, made me and my partner feel very welcomed and even made our hot chocolates a little spooky as we visited around Halloween time. Can’t wait to come back again!

Called in for a pint with friends and it was nice. There was a good selection of beers to choose from, as well as a few games you could play which was nice.

Hadn't been in here for years until today & certainly changed for the better. Not really a place for a cheap drink but not going to hold that against them. Really amiable staff and customer base. Atmosphere relaxed. Good range of drinks & in my case the Guinness was good..

Very expensive drinks - over £13 for 2 g&t's - singles at that.....! Uncomfortable seating in the lower area & the place has weird acoustics which makes everything seem loud 🤔. Didn't like it

Pleasant & efficient bar-ladies in a busy town pub. The acoustics of the building are horrible & it's hard to hear your friends talking. £13 for 2 single g&ts. And bluebottles flying around everywhere-yuc! I killed 2 by our window table then there were at least half a dozen in the ladies loos. Probably won't go again even tho the refit is smart.

It's great to see the Crafty Crow back open and on last nights visit, doing so well. The location is fantastic, across from Nottingham Castle, and is well worth a visit when in the area Real ale, craft beers and excellent range of other drinks. Always loved this place, so please take time to visit

Great new owner Daryl and he has a special helper called Lee bless him. Enjoyed the evening.

It's good to see it open again, went last Thursday night castle rock beer. Would be good to see brew York in there.

Excellent beer, food, atmosphere. Very spacious and airy, all staff wearing masks.

How they have 4.5 stars I'll never know. Beer is fine, wine is fine, lights are so bright, views of the castle are lovely. But the customer service is shocking - laughing and joking together behind the bar - rude answers to my questions. Such a shame, it could be so much nicer!!

I felt super covid safe as soon as i walked through the door. Everything possible is done to ensure minimum risk. The staff are super polite and the drinks menu is impressive! A great place to hang out - i would recommend.

Lovely friendly eclectic bar. Magie brewery ales amongst others. Great food very tasty never noticed it was vegan until after ordered and shouldn't have worried it was delicious. Beer selection was great with excellent range. Friendly welcoming bar staff. A must when in Nottingham.

Stopped by for a few drinks and a meal on our way to a gig at Rock City (about 15 mins walk away). Great selection of beers, a comfort food menu and comfy surroundings in a nice location opposite the castle.

Came here visiting Nottingham to see our son for the day. This is a really nice independent pub part of Magpie brewery (Notts County) good name.It is not particulary cheap but the service on a saturday lunchtime was excellent.My wife had an issue with her meal which went back to the kitchen but they just kept the fish warm so it was over cooked when it came back out.We had a complimentary glass of wine while we were waiting and the meal was refunded with no quibble so we will definitely go here again.

Stopped by after work for a quick evening snack and refreshment. Discovered there is a quality vegan menu - sampled the macaroni cheese which was excellent! Lovely relaxed and comfortable atmosphere with polite helpful staff.

Absolutely love this pub. Always come in when in Nottingham. Good choice of real ales if you want them. Staff always pleasant. Monday was the first time we had eaten here. The food was very good. I had a club sandwich and fries and hubby had pie and mash. They told us the food would take about twenty minutes which is fine as you know it's fresh. There was nothing at all to complain about. Will keep coming in here when in the area

My partner and I came here on a Saturday 12th October afternoon for lunch. The lady who took my order at the bar was pretty off and not polite at all. Didn’t even get a ‘thank you’ out of her. She then bought our sausage sandwiches over. No cutlery no offer of sauce etc. My partner went up to the bar to ask for these and again we felt like an inconvenience. When we started eating the sandwiches were luke warm at best but at this point we couldn’t be bothered to say anything and were starving. £26 for 2 drinks and 2 sausage sandwiches is enough to pay. So I would expect a good level of service. Very disappointed.

We were part of a large group meeting for a social drink after work. Relaxed atmosphere with lots of choices of ales and other drinks. It worked well with a good atmosphere.

Perhaps it was just a bit quiet when I was there but it felt a bit soulless. The beer was outstanding... so maybe timing is everything with this place... I would certainly go back for a drink and a quiet read.

Popped in for an early evening dinner and was pleasantly surprised at the range of choices available, covering all tastes and dietary needs. Portions are generous but not overpowering and the prices are very reasonable. Wide range of drinks available- alcoholic and non alcoholic. Set opposite Nottingham castle the experience was fully enjoyed.

I like the fact that this is not a chain and serves food and drink from independent small providers. However, the service is slow and the staff are pretty rude or uninterested.

Nice atmosphere and decor. However I was a little bit disappointed with the Veggie option I chose. I think it was advertised as chilli though instead of a meat substitute like Quorn or tofu it was tomatoes? Slightly random.

Visited with friends and was impressed by the wide range of gins and the yummy food. One of our group had her dog with her and the Crafty Crow team brought over a water bowl and biscuits. Thoughtful service!

Reservamos el Crafty Crow porque queríamos visitar a nuestro hijo en la universidad y él quería que trajéramos a nuestro perro. Después de algunas investigaciones reservé el cuervo astuto debido a las buenas críticas y la ubicación. Tuve que llamar un par de veces para hacer algunas preguntas y en ambas ocasiones el personal fue extremadamente servicial y educado. Cuando llegamos, nuestra mesa estaba lista con un cuenco de agua y golosinas para nuestro perro. El personal del bar y el servicio de camarera era excelente. Sin duda volveremos cuando volvamos.

We had been to wonderful castle ,unfortunately there's a massive refurbishment of Nottingham Castle going on for the next couple of years but no matter ,we were still impressed by the walls and got our selfie took by the statue to Robin Hood before heading over to The Crafty Crow Pub for a pint of real ale.

We came for a night out in Nottingham for the first time and was greeted by a lovey bar tender, suggested the best drinks and bars, and received a lovely experience there on, could not expect better bar service anywhere else! Give Jess a raise or we won’t come back!!

One of my favourite bars in Nottingham for great food (vegan and vegetarian options available) and craft ales and lagers and artisan gins. There’s a great vibe without being too busy.

Went there for a pint last night - busy enough with a range of clientele without being packed, interesting range of good price beers and spirits. Bit of a grumpy bouncer who ID'd my 20 year old son out with his parents. But would good there again which is a recommendation. Didn't eat and didn't see anyone else eating

My work friends and I, go out to lunch at least once a week in Nottingham city center. Yesterday, three of us ate at the Crafty Crow and we all ordered the Fish & Chips. Wow! Best Fish & Chips in a long time and trust me, I know my fish and chips. Bar staff were lovely too and the location is gorgeous. I'll go nowhere else for my F&C.; Highly recommended!!

Near the Castle is this what initially looks like a small pub, but that's the main doors, go up the steps and its a large open plan area with the bar in the centre, the choices of alcohol are wide and very different from what you will find elsewhere, well worth a pint.

We were taken for our first visit after our friends recommendation.The selection of beers was good but the kitchen was closed on a Saturday lunchtime "because we have a party of 20 coming later". Plenty of other places to eat.

For ale lovers anyway. Great range of real and craft ales. Very good prices for a city centre pub and the quality of the beer. Plenty of staff for when it gets busy and lots of space around the bar. Serves food too.

Común con muchos de estos establecimientos destinados al mercado de la cerveza real, dejan a los grandes bebedores cortos y solo ofrecen cervezas que saben a cerveza real (demasiado seca, demasiado amarga, demasiado insoportable), pero su gama de sidras en la lista ofreció algún consuelo. We recently dropped in here for a drink and the selection of drinks was fantastic. All the staff were friendly and helpful and Aaron especially so, going to the effort of booking us a taxi and finding out other local information for us. Highly Recommend.

We went on a Friday night around 7.30pm so there was a mix of people having drinks on a night out and others like us, having something to eat.

I visited the place with my mam last Tuesday morning.

We often drink here but rarely eat and had lunch with the family. The food was all very good, in particular the club sandwich was great. The beer, as ever, was really good too.

We found ourselves a nice seating area by the large open window, probably a good thing as the place smelt quite fishy - not in a totally unpleasant way, just as if a lot of people were eating it for lunch!

I recently organised a Treaure Hunt(for 50 people)which both began and ended at the Crafty Crow.

I recently visited with my partner for the first time and I incredibly impressed by the decor inside, very lovely place. The service was fabulous and it was the best pub grub meal I have had in a long time and best of all it was reasonably priced! I will definitely be returning to the crafty crow soon.

Went for Father's Day lunch. Beer was excellent, a wide range of styles and strengths, well kept, their own range and guest ales. Food was also lovely - simple pub food but done very well - could not fault a single thing we ordered. Staff helpful and polite, all in all a lovely experience.

The Crafty Crow is in a nice area away from the shop of the City centre, great place to try some different ales you will not trip over elsewhere, nice charm about the place and well trained staff who make the place have a relaxed atmosphere, well worth a pint or two.

We often pass thru Nottingham and always make a bee line for the Crafty Crow - it always has an excellent line up of beers , probably one of the best in the city. Eight cask and about the same in keg. They cater well for dogs with a bowl of water and treats, even before we got served, nice. We decided to eat and had fish n chips plus a club sandwich. Lovely grub and good value. Camra discount too!
