Costa Coffee in Nottingham

Been a few times to this out let Coffee always been ok . Unfortunately.the toilets are bad. Obviously not checked or cleaned regularly it appears ? However .. it's apparent to me, the reason the toilets have got dirty. ...so many people now using them ,due to our council , changing ..0.50p card only at the , greyhound toilets around the corner. ..many people are not visiting Costa , refreshments then the code for toilets, they just wait outside untill someone vacate the said toilets and grab the door and enter......yes they should be checked and cleaned more. ...but the council has made this situation even worse in my opinion..!

Would give 0 stars if possible. I am a young woman and asked for the code to the toilet as I was desperate and heavily on my period. The woman gave me the code but it did not work so I went back to the desk to ask again. The man was an utter disgrace and after explaining to him I was desperate and had already been given the code but it did not work, I was told I needed to buy something first. I said I would after but I was very desperate and needed the toilet first. He completely refused to give me the code even after explaining that I was desperate and it was an emergency. He said he was the store manager and he can do what he wants as it is his store. An absolute disgrace to not allow me to go to the toilet which is a basic human need even more so being a woman. I was left completely embarrassed and upset. This 100% needs to be dealt with as there are more people out there which could have a condition and be left feeling as helpless as I did. Absolute disgrace.

Drinks were great as always, but the staff were absolutely incredible. Both lovely and helpful and put a real smile on my face. Cannot reccomend enough and will definitely be coming back

The server wasn't happy at all when I asked for lactose-free option. Eventually he offered a coconut milk. Coffee was not even close to average. The spoon provided was pretty dirty and I asked for a clean one. Not the best coffee shop in Nottingham.

I had a really bad day today and decided to treat myself to my favourite drink, flat white with coconut milk and I need to say that Jake is one of the best barista I have ever dealt with! His service is 10/10, and he knows how to put a smile on your face!

Called in while waiting for an appointment. Wasn't impressed, chipped cups although the server did change them. Prices increased again, took a long time to clear the tables. Toilets were absolutely disgusting 🤢 I have never seen a seat in the state that was in. Definitely not from one day's use. (Ingrained stains) Not hygienic at all, did have soap/water though. Overall not a pleasant visit. Will not be back.

Spent some time here whilst my daughter and her friend shopped for clothes. Only had a green tea but I knocked it over and I made a real mess of a chair and the floor. The staff were very friendly and helpful in cleaning it up, I did offer, and they did not shame me at all. They even replaced my drink, although I just took a little hot water. I think the woman that cleaned up was called Mia, or something similar - really nice person. Thank you

My wife had hurt ankle ,assistant saw her distress ,offered any help she required, kindly bought water to take tablets ,said if required anything else just ask.very impressed.thanks ,J

last visit place vert dirty.this time floor was being cleaned, tables were clean. staff polite and friendly. nice cakes . tea and coffee ok.

A small little Costa tucked away in Primark. Ordered a hot chocolate which was average and had to wait a while as only 2 members of staff were working.

When visiting Nottingham, I always have a cup of coffee at Costa

Nice place and convenient whilst Primark shopping. Sometimes has a long queue waiting to be served but staff are always friendly and helpful.

Really odd experience,I asked if they had the product I wanted as the other Costas didn't seem to, was polite enough,suggested the train station Costa, explained I'd had a bad experience there coffee wise,started a bit of a what I believed to be a friendly chat with the server. He then took offence "I was only making a suggestion to help you out love" I was taken aback ,clearly taken more seriously on his behalf, then insulted my sense of humour. All concluded with no drink in the end, just a bizarre encounter with an unappreciated outcome of staff.

Been here a few times the young lad behind the counter is always trying his best to make everything perfect and save you money it’s the best Costa I’ve used so far

we had lemon cakes very nice.tea ok ,staff friendly and polite.only 3 out of five the foor in lots of areas was dirty with food on floor.nice view from large windows.

Not very clean and not easy to get a table

we had coffee and rocky road, both very nice.two young lads served us,they were friendly and polite.we always people watch from large windows.

Stopped off to have a croissant and tea with mum, was greeted by a lovely lad. Considering he was on his own, everywhere was clean and tidy and he was friendly and helpful. Would come back again especially if it’s not too busy.

Excellent, friendly helpful staff, vegan blueberry Muffin very yummy. Batista was very patient with us, while making our choices.

At home as normal with coffee as I like it. The place is always clean, and welcoming too all.

I love the service it was qucik and effective and the Barista Milo made our coffees with all the love and care and was so helpful with our enquiries give that man a raise

i have had some foul tea all over the world, the tea we had today is the worst ever.friendly staff gave us a extra tea bag each.the tea was still weak and tasted like herbs.the staff did tell me lots of people did like the tea.the cake we had was very nice, and view from windows pleasant.

TOO MANY YOUNG PEOPLE, NOT CATERING SOMUCH FOR THE ELDERLY

Visited Primark on Wednesday and my mother and children had a drink/food in Primark Costa. It was mid day and half the seating was "blocked off" due to understaffed apparently as the rude member of staff said or they couldn't be bothered to clean excess tables? People are paying to sit in and limited to tables there was only small 2 people tables available at this time. The food wasn't great either compared to other locations. Wouldn't be going back in a hurry.

I went shopping with my wife and son, as shopping Ian Primark is usually long and hectic my son recommended that I go to the Costa upstairs and wait there. Being a wheelchair user it was far better than being knocked constantly in the shop. I chose the lunch deal at £4.95 which I thought was very reasonable. For this I got a sandwich, a hot chocolatier with a packet of crisps. They had no toasties available. Staff were very friendly and helpful and carried my tray to a table and then to another table when I decided to sit facing outside. Hot chocolate was made with care and a little message in the top and the sandwich was good with plenty of filling. The bread wasn’t dry which was a bonus. It was far better than waiting in the shop and an enjoyable and relaxing experience. Would recommend.

Far too expensive and they don't know how to make coffee. Dissapointed!

Great place with brilliant staff! They provide excellent service each and every time I'm in and that's a lot as they know my order off by heart 😂 It's mine and my son's treat to have our Costa date and if it wasn't for the staff here it would of never become our little thing! ☺️ So thankyou!

Primark is a chaos shop, it does my head in but i'm quiet happy to sit on the side lines and have a coffee in chaos fee environment, good service, watch people and relax.

It located on the 2nd floor of Primark has a good view on long row walk.

While browsing the two floors you can take a break with a lovely cup of coffee in the cafe. It was lovely and clean and staff were very friendly.

Went to costa to spend some time with my daughter, as rest of family went shopping, ordered 2 coffees and 2 cakes, we left unfinished coffes and biscuits, my daughter needs to go the toilet, which is located next to costa, it took us 2 minutes but our coffes and food was gone and table cleaned. There was not alot of customers so ... I feel dissapointed because i have paid over £6 for my order which i have not finished
