First experience, I was taken by surprise. They make the most tastier, thick , foamy hot chocolate. The best ever place to visit. I love their Pork sausage pancetta, try it.

Popped in this morning with my son. And what a pleasure the two young ladies who was working was. A breath of fresh air on a cold Sunday morning. Thankyou for ur time and help

No Christmas spirit, the lady who served me was quite harsh in speaking to me. I felt like I should not be there and I couldn't wait to get out. It was my first time going to Caffè Nero and will not be going again. First impressions was very poor.

Great coffee and location but possible the worst wifi connection and phone signal in town

A little bit expensive but worth it (quality)

Usually good but today, 25Jun 2023, they had shut the machines down at kea at 10 minutes early so at 6.50pm I couldn’t get a drink.

Literally so miserable and when your speaking to them they have there back turned to you I asked for a specific drink I had before and now they are saying they can't make it felt really uncomfortable :((

I ordered a quick Cafe Mocha to go and was pleasantly surprised with the drink. It was good and hot, unlike most places serving lukewarm drinks for hot these days. The coffee had a slight burnt aroma, but the sort I enjoy. The chocolate was great, not too sweet, not too dark. The staff is nice and polite. All in all, I was happy with the whole experience. 😇🤍

Being just off Old Market Square along Kings Street is this Caffe Nero outlet my twin brother Stephen and I dropped into as we were heading to view the Brian Clough Statue. Your typical Caffe Nero, a light and airy interior, neat and tidy, glass fronted serving bar showcasing all the goodies on offer and there's plenty of seating options spread throughout this Caffe Nero, all in all a wonderful but very busy cafe. We were here on a Wednesday afternoon, we ordered a flat white coffee each, these were served steaming hot, we just kicked back, chilled out and planned out the day ahead while sipping our coffee's. My coffee was really good, a big fan of the coffee served in Caffe Nero its consistant in all their outlets, this one in particular was very busy when we attended but I suppose the location ensures lots of passing trade. We moved on after our coffee's and for a first time visit to this particular Caffe Nero we were totally impressed. This Caffe Nero is easy to locate along King Street. Opening hours are; Monday to Friday, 7am till 7pm. Saturday, 7.30am till 7pm. Sunday, 8am till 7pm. Most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area.

The woman at the till was very pushy.. didnt wait for me to agree to a large drink and cream before assuming I'd want it.. The reason I prefer Nero as opposed to Costa ect is because it's very much a homely and chilled vibe, not one where I'd expect to be assaulted by social pressures when ordering a drink; safe to say I am not anxious about ordering a drink here.

I love caffe Nero. Love their coffee, the ambience, the staff 🙂 and the beautiful decor! I go there to do some work on my laptop or read whilst sipping 2/3 coffees every time I visit. Only one issue when it is summer time: the air con 😔 It is okay-ish for 30 minutes or so but it quickly becomes unpleasant to stay in because it is set so cold. Especially upstairs. I have mentioned it to one member of staff before but twice now I was told they didnt know how to turn it down. And I really felt I was bothering them by asking. My friend who wears contact lenses cant stay in because it makes his eyes dry (and we moved around/seats etc ... eventually giving up and leaving). When I go now I bring a jumper and a scarf in my bag which is not right really. That is my only criticism.

Staff uncaring and quite surly. Lukewarm coffee. Dirty toilets. Used to love coming here but have recently given up any hope of improvement and now go to Caffè Nero opposite Cineworld where there are welcoming staff and hot coffees

Plenty of coffee shops to choose from in Nottingham, this one is one of the best, good staff, great service, good drinks, whats not to like.

This part of Nottingham City Centre is such a vibrant area with so much going on. The Caffe Nero and incidentally the brilliant Red Box Vape shop next door highlight the attraction of the other bars and restaurants. Caffè Nero has a nice pavement area and the interior has several really good features, not least the lovely staircase. Service was quick and friendly and the coffee and cake excellent. We'll worth a visit.

Came here for a drink yesterday. The drinks were good and for that they get 2 points however the toilets and staff lose the coffee shop 3 points from me. I asked a member of staff where the toilets were and she responded in a bark “ you need to go upstairs” a bit rude we thought but went on up. When we got up there we discovered a unisex toilet, went in and discovered no loo roll, urine all over the floor and seat and a very over whelming stench of stale urine. If this is how they “clean” the loo what are they doing in the kitchens! We promptly left without using the facilities. Gross!

We have never been disappointed with the coffee and service we have received throughout the country. King Street. Nottingham was no exception

I visited today (2.2.2019) and bought tomato soup and it was heated for me and served in a bowl with hot bread, both of which was delicious. I also had tea with soya milk. I sat upstairs and had a nice view of the street outside. The staff served me quickly and there are lots of different seating areas, sofas, hard-backed chairs and bench seats. When I left after an hour it was heaving with customers so is obviously very popular. Only reason I have given this 4 stars is I couldn't get onto wifi.

The other two Caffè Nero are pretty good with nice friendly and efficient staff! This one is shocking! The staff are arrogant and rude and ruin what ought to be a nice place to go!! It is a shame as it is such a good location. Given them the benefit of the doubt several times and not got any better!!!

I prefer the coffee here compared to other chains, But I find the poor state of toilets, dirty and broken soap dispenser today, very off putting. This appears to be a global issue with Nero branches and reflects on sloppy management and inadequate staffing.

satisfactory beverages, nice environment, kind personnel. Some of the snacks and food provided are tasty but in most cases they are highly overpriced. Especially when you have to pay around £2 for a brunch bar when you can get a similar one 4 times cheaper in a groceries store. Plus Caffe Nero is advertised as an Italian coffee shop which does NOT even offer a coffee made with coffee beans produced in Italy! How authentic?! #Not

Being in the city centre on business and with paperwork to go through, Caffe Nero was a good spot to sit and have a few drinks whilst getting plenty of work done. Friendly staff and I did not feel rushed into vacating my little table whilst I worked.

Great location, italian charm, helpful staff and excellent coffee as usual. Whenever near one I always grab a coffee and enjoy in the serenity of the place.

This is one of my favourite coffee houses to visit. Although they can sometimes be limited on space, as people tend to take up more space than needed. Would be nice if they could have a few more electric sockets dotted around...

This coffee shop is located just off Nottingham's bustling market square. It's the usual Caffe Nero fare, but with seating to maybe suit everybody? There are usually seats outside to no doubt service those with the nicotine habit. My favourite thing is to bag a seat upstairs near the windows. This old building has been tastefully renovated (although the air-con units are particularly ugly!) and you can look down on the busy thoroughfare. You also get an unusual aspect of some of Nottingham's finest facades.

Great place to rest after trip to town and before catching buss. Handy for buss stops on Parliament street. Black coffee on cold days & cold drinks on hot days. comfortable seating, relaxing setting. Bit of a treck up steep stairs to the loo & step down into main shop from street. Could not find a vegan option for a nibble...is it to much to ask a big chain to provide a vegan muffin & soya milk?

Wow fabulous place for coffee always consistant excellent, and how nice to get friendly staff which seem to go that extra mile. This Neros is situated with the famous football legend Brian Clough statue outside and an outside seating area where you can watch the world go by. All in all a fab place for coffee. The manager seems to have a great team in this store well done.

Visited Thursday, as from my review of 200 degrees it was impossible to find a table. Caffe Nero King Street is just across the Market Square (by the Brian Clough statue) and we were pleased to find a couple of vacant tables ground floor, but were directed via a lift (wonderful for people with walking problems) to first floor where there were comfortable sofas on a bright and airy level. Yes, free wifi is availble but nobody seemed to take advantage. Delicious coffee and panini and the staff couldn't do enough. Will certainly return to Caffe Nero King Street next time in Nottingham. Thank you.

My friend & I always come here either before or after work. The guys and gals are always smiling and helpful, never had any issues. Coffee is always lovely, too! I've been many times, just wanted to leave a review. :)

I love Caffe Nero as I always look for one everywhere I go, but this one particularly seems to be slow. Baristas are nice but should improve a little bit the speed of service, that's all.

As with all Caffe Nero's it was up to the usual high standard in terms of drinks and food. It has a lovely relaxed atmosphere, penty of seating both upstairs and downstairs. Very quiet when we visited at 11am, but much busier when we left an hour and a half later. The only criticism being that the upstairs toilet wasn't checked during that time and didn't look as if it had been thoroughly cleaned for a while and no toilet paper in the cubicle. Wanted to report it to staff but they were too busy serving other customers & I didn't have time to queue up to report it.

I tried my hardest to find a new independent coffee shop in Nottingham (Ive been to 200 Degrees which is OK but not worth the queue outside the door) but Trip Advisor wasnt bringing up anything good enough very nearby. So I tried this Caffe Nero.

Had coffee an cake here on a Tuesday lunchtime the place was very busy but the staff coped very well with a smile on there faces, the place is situated beside the Brian Clough statue .

I think this branch is by far the best in nottingham. Decor won me over, really nice and cosy. Staff is very helpful and friendly. I have actually witnessed staff welcoming a homeless person and giving him a cup of coffee, was very kind of them. Although cakes could have been bigger in size for the price you pay I would deffinitely go back :)

I think the title says it all really :) the staff are extremely friendly and know what they are doing, the environment is extremely pleasant and overall it is simply one of the best cafes i have ever been to :)

Io e mio marito siamo stati qualche giorno fa in questo caffè , pensavamo di trovare un ambiente italiano con relativo caffè.Nulla di tutto questo siamo stati accolti se cosi si può dire da una commessa a dir poco sgarbata ,che non ha fatto nulla per capire le esigenze del cliente e ci ha servito una brodaglia.Sconsigliato soprattutto agli italiani.

The thing i like about Caffe Nero is that they place there coffee joints in buildings that have a bit of character about them.
