Went in late but rhe chef was happy to cook the tomahawk chop which was lovely

Lovely staff, a little wait for food but well worth it. Very tasty,hot and plentiful. My sister,niece and myself were made welcome. Will definitely come again.

I saw a Groupon Voucher being offered for a starter and a sizzling pub main course. Not having visited this pub before, I decided to give this meal for two a try and my wife and I were pleasantly surprised when we visited for a late lunch on a weekday. We chose beer-battered mushrooms and crispy prawns as a starter, each came with its own dip. Not large portions but both very adequate starters. For our main course we selected tandoori chicken and sizzling chicken both with basmati rice. (We could have had chips instead). The tandoori was especially good and the rice really was basmati - not pretend basmati like some pubs serve! The pub was quiet at the time of our visit and service at the bar and at the table was prompt and efficient. Of course, the savings the Groupon voucher afforded made this meal especially good value for money. I you decide to visit, don't forget to sign in your vehicle at the bar - otherwise you could end up with a parking fine!

Came here with my wife during there 40% of all mains week, it was very busy as i’m pretty sure we came on a quiz night of sorts 🧐 however, this added to the all ready great atmosphere. The pub was pretty rammed but we managed to get out two mains in about 20minutes. I had this lovely chicken tikka masala and my wife had a red wine lasagne both presented excellently. Staff were lovely and polite and made sure our table was clear for when desserts arrived. They were just as great as our mains if not better!! I will definitely be adding this establishment to my regulars and will be back again soon.

What an absolute shambles. Party of 10 adults and 4 children. Wrong food brought out to us, should have been a table over the opposite side. Meals put in front of 2 of our group (correct food) only for them to come back 2 minutes later and take it off them as it "was for the table behind" who I might add had come in and ordered after us

Great quality for the price, can't complain at anything here.

Loaded turf and turf was ordered. It was probably the worst steak I've had in years. Fat, gristle. Half of it was unbeatable. The Eaton Mess sundae had NO meringue in it. The rest of the meal and service was good. I complained about the steak when the young waiter came to collect the skillets but he didn't seem to take on board the complaint. I didn't bother to later mention the lack of meringue!

Staff very welcoming, service was nicely timed, food arrived hot, was very tasty and a good portion size. Good selection of drinks to choose from and good atmosphere.

The cashier forgot to provide 12p change and had to be corrected on the order, if I hadn't had double checked I would have been overcharged. Saying that the staff were attentive and thoughtful. Great service.

When you enter it is like the old fashioned pubs would be, regulars sat at the bar, a couple of old folks with their dogs sat under the table nice and quiet but a pleasant welcome from the barman who ran to the door to open the other side so i could get in with my mobility scooter and nice welcome from the regulars as my wife cleared off to the toilet, so the regulars bought our drinks over to our table. The menu had different choices and I went for the steak but the barman apologised as they had no onion rings, the wife had a chicken meal both meals very good and were reasonably priced as well

Lovely place food was nice and fast being served but I found the bar man (Adam ) to be rude and not helpfull he more interested in regular customers and not new ones I only asked what brewery the ram was and git a sharp reply n carried on talking to his regulars very disappointing

Took the family for the festive menu as went with work last year & it was nice. What a difference a year makes. Tonight’s food for some of us was awful. Firstly, starters for 2 of us were unavailable. 1 replacement was fine the other a plate of greasy prawns. One of the main courses had been microwaved to within an inch of its life ensuring the pastry of pie hard & inedible, on top of that served with what tasted like & is believed to be packet smash potato. Chips that came with burgers had the consistency of having been cooked & reheated in the microwave. The guys are them as hungry & service was so slow to say anything that everyone else would have finished eating. Dessert, apple pie again microwaved but this time pastry soggy as anything. My son just drowned it in his custard but my daughter didn’t eat it. Again no one around. Service was not good. Had a long wait before table was cleared after both starter & mains !the wait for dessert was long, we thought at one point they had forgotten. Really disappointed with food & service. I wont be in a rush to return or recommend .

Lovely pub and lovely staff. Went there Tuesday evening after daughters graduation for a meal and all thought the food was excellent. The girls serving let us have a voucher that was going spare which was a nice touch. Will be returnng

1st time going here today. We went for lunch as one of our cars was having a m o t next door. The started was the nachos for 2 I wasn't inpressed looked good but the nachos tasted old not fresh at all unfortunately 😒 For the main I had a chicken & bacon salad I added extra hallomui it was fantastic tasted great I did add light mayonnaise the dressing was lovely I would have this again. My other half had fish and double chips 🍟 he enjoyed this with mushy peas and we had coke to drink .Unfortunately we dident have time for a dessert 🍨

I used to eat here at least once a week with my family. Sometimes twice. Then have after work drinks on occasion with colleagues. But unfortunately I’ll now never return. I received a letter from debt collection agency last week saying I owe £155 from parking here 2.5 years ago! (Even though it’s a free car park). It’s the first Ive ever heard of a fine. I haven’t received any communications before this. But apparently they were sent ‘in good faith’ and now the fine has gone up! I tried to appeal of course, but it’s clearly not worth my time. Just have to pay it and move on. It’s a shame, because the Ram have lost a good customer now. Ironically, they’ve earned far more out of me than the ridiculous £155 I’ve just paid, and they would have continued to earn more out me as a customer for many many years to come. But that’s been spoiled now. I can imagine they’ll lose a lot of customers this way if they receive a similar experience. The risk of getting a fine when you just want a quite casual meal is too much of a risk for people to consider eating here. And there’s plenty of other choices in direct competition with The Ram. Remember, I may only be one person, so easy to ignore me - But I represent a greater problem your business will face going forward. Best of luck.

I have tried rump and sirloin. I think sirloin is a bit chewy, and rump is better. Also tried Chicken Tikka Masala. It was yummy! With the Sizzling apps, I always get free beer or drinks. Service is VERY VERY GOOD! Will return again and again.

Food terrible, lasagna had no cheese sauce or cheese topping garlicbreadto hard to eat. Chicken platter all tasted the same as if cooked in the same pan. Service was excellent and staff friendly. Just food let them down badly

Just been again for my birthday tea, never yet had a bad meal here, staff are always friendly and helpful, food is great and so reasonable. Not our local but always our first choice, don't mind traveling a few miles when you know the food and service are good. Nice to see new and different veg/vegan options too instead of the usual Mac n cheese or beetroot burger, only sad thing is the beyond burger has gone 😭 vegan ribs are good tho as are the boss burger and the giant gyros! A really nice pub with real fire, friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Very family friendly. Food is excellent value for money there are good offers on the menu and via the Sizzling Pubs app with free drinks offers. Food was tasty and good portion size. If parking in the car park you must enter your car reg on the tablets on the bar. Would definitely recommend and return.

Steak was very fatty and for the price was not big enough

My local pub Drinks - 5* reasonably priced, lots of variety for everyone Food - 3* very cheap £, which does mean smaller portion sizes (you can upgrade). The quality differs day to day massively. Some days it’s excellent and others can be poor. I’ve sent my food order back to the kitchen a few times. Needs more consistency with the quality.

The food was just okay for us. Out of the four of us, only one really liked their meal. The rest thought it was just average. But the desserts were fantastic. We'll probably come back just for those.

Service - very good Prices - excellent value, especially with 40% discount on main courses. Environment - table sticky, condiments dirty, evidence of food splatter on the walls. Booking experience - booked table for party of 3 4pm - 5.45pm. On arrival was informed table was required by 5.30pm. Was asked to vacate table at exactly 5.30pm so felt rushed.

Beautiful food, polite and helpful staff, catered for really well especially with our large booking of 22 plus people. Food came out all together nobody left waiting. Good pricing of food and drinks too.

Second time going and still great food with a new menu Last time I went they had coca cola on pump but now got Pepsi so that's the only negative of the experience I know they had it in bottles but it's normally the silly going price for em like everywhere else But its a lovely place getting in and out car park can be a pain but overall a lovely place

The food was quite nice but, I felt the portion size of the Beef Rib and the Boneless Southern Fried Chicken was on the small size. The Tandoori chicken was better value. The decor looks tired with sellotape still on the ceiling from last Christmas's decorations. There was a wait of at least 30 mins before the food arrived at the table.

The cook made me an exquisite mixed grill. Absolutely amazing. Can’t fault it!

Very quite and spacious, lovely staff, wait times for food are quite long to say it’s not very busy in here but worth it for the food quality, few mishaps with the wrong items being brought out and desserts that are supposed to be warm are cold and cold desserts are melted and warm, the main meal was great quality the first visit on the 10th march 2024 but todays meals where a little bit off with things missing or different items than described on menu but overall it’s great prices for mains and usually great quality

Regularly come here, good food and service, all staff are friendly and welcoming. Adam helped us with a problem on the app which wasn’t letting us order our food, he went above and beyond to help sort the problem out, can’t thank him enough for his help!

We had a meal for my mother and father in laws 69th wedding anniversary there was 24 of us and in was great with great food and good staff thank you very much we enjoyed it.

Third time lucky! We had purchased a Groupon voucher but due to an error at Groupons end,it wouldn't work. Finally sorted on the third visit. First time we have visited since it's become a Sizzler Pub. It used to be our goto pub under previous ownership. Service was fast and friendly , food very hot and fresh, ambience decent, looks clean. Downside is, there are very limited starter and pudding options. Also the parking slots are very tight and if you need to use the disabled parking it's in a less lit part of the carpark. If you enjoy sizzling plates then you will love this place but personally I prefer the previous offering.

A very busy and popular local pub. We thought we’d give it a try as we drive past it often. Friendly greeting at the bar and we ordered our food on an app at the table. Didn’t have to wait long for the food to arrive either. Nothing bad to say, just not a pub to our taste and style - plenty of families with young children visiting when we were there.

Groupon deal, ordered food, then was told at check out that groupon hadn’t worked since December (yet only ordered groupon on jan 11th) should not be promoted deal. So £37 bill instead of £18. The dining area was cold, the food was cold, though the staff were very nice. Not great at the ram Nottingham

The food was so cold I got hypothermia and I do not recommend the mixed grill due to the stake being under cooked

Nice atmosphere. Good range of food and drink. Didn't eat there, so can't rate the food. Beware, you have to register your car at the bar to avoid a parking fine.

Was really happy that all the food came out one time and was hot and no mix up with the orders although we all ordered at different times. There was 17 of us. Only problem we had was when we asked for the cakes to be bought out it did take about 20 minutes. Do appreciate however that they had orher people to serve. Will definitely visit again
