Brilliant little pub. Heart of woodhus. Some good staff on and a great atmosphere.

Had a lovely family meal planned last minute. Managed to reserve a table and ordered food. It came really hot and within 25 minutes of ordering. All the staff we met were extremely friendly and accommodating. Jake was our server and he is an asset to the company.

Lovely evening, nice atmosphere,great food and service as always. We visit Coopers often and have not had bad service since the new landlord has taken over. The pub is thriving and its great to see Thank you

Short staffed for a birthday Party had to wait a long time for drinks at the bar . The Place needs renovation as well

We enjoyed a bacon cob and banana bread which were both lovely. Have to mention lovely staff member Kiera! Couldn’t have been more helpful, even though she was extremely busy! Thank you Kiera!

Ellie was very helpful serving me today and assisting with menus and guiding me to the golden eagle website to use the allergen filter. She was very friendly and always smiling. Would 100% be returning and recommending to friends and family.

Never been in such a dirty place no where to sit because all tables dirty and staff all chatting and playing on there phones and only 1 toilet work because others been out of order for over 3 weeks as I know of and that was dirty to

We ordered on the app on Justeat. They tell us EVERYTHING that we ordered is correct and is available. We wait an HOUR for the food for there to be half the order missing with it. No apology, no nothing. They didn't even take it off of the app, just took our money. We had to request a refund ourselves. Absolutely appalling.

Loud, annoying and irritating barmaid promised me a drink and even said it was 'on the house' yet she was never to be seen again, shocking appalling and frankly disgraceful service from the worst pub in town. STEER CLEAR

Valentines day 2 for £25. We had mains, ultimate burger which came with chips and 6 onion rings, 8 oz gourmet steak which came with jacket spud and 3 onion rings. For pudding it was chocolate fudge cake with ice cream, warm chocolate brownie also with ice cream. With 2 pints ot Stella! Very good value for money and all the food was good.

We came here thinking it was still a weatherspoons but it is not, it's had a pint job but all the same old furniture and damaged toilets clearly not a improvement the, We only popped in as we still had 1 hour and 20 mins parking, plenty of time for a beer n burger, not the case however, it's now table service only and took 20 minutes to get served, then 20 minutes after that my wife had to go and ask for the drinks only to hear a member of staff in the background shout "we're busy what does she f###### expect" not the best tbh, Then time started ticking and our food was not arriving nor was anybody else's food who had been served before us, when it got to the point that we had been there for over 1 hour and only had 15mins on the parking, I went up to pay for drink the and cancel the food, the manager who canciled my order was okay however their was a woman in the little room at the end of the bar wavering her writs around shouted "what the f### do they expect?, Well to clear things up for that member of staff who clearly can't control her emotions and clearly should not be employed to serve in a restaurant, I'm not asking for the world when I say, I'd like a drink in my had within 40 minutes of entering an establishment and I'd like my burger within 1 hour and I'd really like to not hear foul language and insults shouted towards me while at the bar by someone who can't control their emotions at work.

Have been coming to picture house once a month for dinner and drinks for a few yesrs . But the meal deals are poor now as you seem to be paying more just to have items added. Also, I've just come back from Wetherspoons in Thirsk, and most of their cask ales were under £2. You pay 79p more in picture house for some ales. I don't get why it's more dearer in a town that's struggling. So think I'll have to go somewhere else once a month.

I have Complain so many time about online delivery not getting my mango fruits Ripe when it say ready to eat ,its hard or near half like Frozen .Wilted vegetables like not fresh fews days old .Order sainsbury organic tofu and I find a hair in the middle after I cut and fry it !Now put me off buying there brand
