The best restaurants in Mansfield East Midlands

We always come to this little gem of a cafe at least a couple of times a week and it never fails to impress. I'm sticking to my last review that this place does do the tastiest omlettes around. They are just so fluffy 😊 and cooked to perfection. My husband particularly likes the fish finger sandwich with tomato sauce off course. The chip sandwich is always good as so are the sandwiches and the cakes well what can I say. Simply Devine 🍰 Cannot wait for you to re-open so we can sit in once again but for now we will continue to enjoy the equally as good takeaway service

When someone says breakfast out a burger van I automatically think greasy undercooked tasteless food! But this wasn’t the case when myself, husband and two little girls decided to try Cater King! The food is cooked perfectly, it’s very filling and great value for money! We all enjoyed it! Definitely worth going and having a taste yourself!

My husband and I had a meal in The Vault earlier this year and it was a lovely meal. There was a lot of food on the plate and it was cooked very well. The staff are very friendly and you can have a good conversation with them. I would recommend having a meal in there at any time. The only thing now is I would have a breakfast but the doors are closed in the morning so I don't know if it is still open in the daytime.

Lovely bistro setting and atmosphere. Great customer service from Jam and Louise. Highly recommend for breakfast, coffee, lunch and cakes. Will definitely be back to try the cocktails!!

In a high street dominated by chain cafe's and restaurants occasionally you find somewhere special. Luckily for us the usual suspects for a lunchtime coffee were all busy so we gave up and headed home, only to find this gem of a cafe. Small but spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated, serving exceptional quality food and coffee at very reasonable prices. 2 full English breakfasts, we wasn't planning on these but saw another tables order and couldn't resist, 2 Cappuccinos and 2 cans of Coke, £20. The service was top notch by a lovely chap who not only took the orders but cooked the food and made the coffees. Deffo calling again.

Can’t fault the food, cleanliness and service here. I love local and have been here a few times. Lovely little place for takeout or eating in.

High priced have to heat it up and it based in asda

Visited here on a Tuesday as a last minute decision! Very accommodating as we were nearer the end of service! Starter was very nice, mushrooms on toast. Bread tasted very much like shortbread but the mushrooms in sauce were delicious. Main was chicken chasseur, absolutely delicious! Chicken was very tender it fell off the bone and the gravy was full of flavour. The mash potato was perfect and the veg was cooked to perfection! The chocolate tarte was very tasty. Overall the service was very good, staff were still a little nervous as they were new to the role but very polite. Very reasonably priced and we will definitely be returning.

Cannot rate this place enough. The coffee was lovely, the omelette i had was fantastic, even the side salad was dripping in sauce or vinegarette. Will definitely be visiting again. Thank you for a lovely lunch.

We popped into here for breakfast and we both really enjoyed it. I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with avocado on toast so I thought I’d try their avocado on bagel with bacon and egg. It was absolutely delicious! My husband had the avocado on toast with fried egg and he said that it was also delicious. The coffee was also very nice. Overall we really enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back.

A beautiful little café. We pre booked an afternoon tea through Facebook messenger after searching for a tea room, and it certainly impressed. We were asked to pick from a selection of cakes and sandwiches, and they all tasted absolutely delicious. The scone, cream and jam was pure heaven in my mouth. You get a pot of tea, but my friend oped for a diet coke which was swapped as an alternative which was nice to not charge for that and welcome swaps. The staff were super friendly and lovely there. The prices were amazing too having a little nosy through. I would definitely recommend.

Gorgeous restaurant, lovely staff & amazing food. We dined here tonight (4 adults & 4 children) and we couldn’t have had a better experience. Would absolutely recommend.
