The Tea House in Mansfield

My review is in response to the previous review is that we visit the teahouse every week and I am very surprised at her negative comments my family and I have never heard any of staff be rude to customers as she suggests if she says they never answer phone can I say they are always very very busy and will answer phone if at all possible everyone has limits to what they can do with only two hands but they do have an answer phone to leave a message then they reply asap I’ve seen them do just that whilst we have been there if she arrived early the do get there early to prepare for the rush of customers and lots of work to do after all customers have gone and I cannot imagine any of staff being rude and shouting across car park and if anyone would be shouting I suspect it would be the lady in question not the staff,I think I can honestly say everyone who visits the teahouse would agree with me,please don’t let this negative review form this lady deter you from visiting the teahouse I guarantee you would not be disappointed the food is great the staff are definitely great and work very hard to keep customers happy including children and dogs.

Had my wedding party lunch here it was excellent the staff was so helpful and friendly and help made my day extra special every said they really enjoyed it will recommend to anyone

My son ordered a takeaway Afternoon Tea for Mother’s Day. It was absolutely gorgeous. The best I’ve had, and I’ve had a few! The Victoria Sponge was gorgeous!!

I had been trying to get thru on the phone for over a week to book an afternoon tea for 10,for this Friday. No answer or my messages returned so I thought I would go to the Teahouse and speak to them. I turned up at 9.55 and two ladies were outside sorting tables,so I approached them and asked if it was possible to book a table and that I’d tried to ring but no answer and one of the ladies shouted ‘Well we aren’t even open yet!’ So I apologised and explained it wasn’t today I’d been ringing,if that’s what she thought I meant. She snapped,just go inside and I will book you in….i replied no thank you. I was shocked at being shouted at by a member of staff,there were a few people around and it was quite embarrassing to be shouted at. Really disappointed at the way I was treated.

First time visiting and definitely won’t be the last.. Found this place on Facebook and love to try new places. Well it definitely didn’t disappoint.. Went with my friend for lunch. We had booked a table which was all ready when we arrived.. Menu has a great variety. My friend and I both went for the soup and a toastie which was delicious. We also treated ourselves to some delicious cake. Very good sized portions and great value for money. Great find.. Already looking forward to my next visit.

This little tea room is very welcoming , myself and my friend went for a catch up and had a cooked breakfast each , it’s not something I have normally because it can usually be a little greasy in certain places or the ingredients is not the best , but this place was absolutely lovely , it wasn’t greasy and it was very tasty and all the ingredients was quantity, I booked again upon leaving because the staff was also lovely and the service was great so it’s a 10/10 for me and I’m hard to please normally , there is a lovely park also you can walk round after leaving the tea room .

We went for afternoon tea today it was lovely , Staff are amazing I took my daughter and her friends the staff could not do enough, we had a lovely afternoon. The afternoon tea was lovely , great selection of sandwiches and cakes , even my dog got his own treat ! Great place to eat and socialise would highly recommend,

We had a surprise birthday afternoon tea today with my friends and family and i could not think of a better place to have had it. The staff were kind and attentive, the food was plentiful and beautifully presented and the experience was amazing. This is not the first time we have visited and it won’t be the last, always incredible food/service.

I visited the Teahouse for an afternoon tea with family and friends. The food was once again perfect and customer service brilliant. The value for money is great, we got lots of food at a low cost. Staff are extremely friendly and are always keen to go above and beyond. The cafe is very picturesque and lovely scenery. I would certainly recommend anyone to visit.

I had a lactose free afternoon tea amd it was excellent. My 2 children and 1 teen were all catered for as well with no dietary requirements. The 2 children clapped their food when it arrived! It looked that good. And it really was that good. Our teen was very impressed with the scones and there was a good amount of tea too.

Gorgeous food and lots of it . Delicious cake and mince pies Great coffee Super friendly.staff. Xmas crackers a nice touch

Great staff, great atmosphere, great food. Had a really lovely night, lots of laughter. Will be going again. If you haven't been you need to try it I can guarantee you will have a good time. Thanks Joanne and Mel.

Quintessential English Tearoom overlooking parkland with plenty of car parking spaces available. Super-friendly management and staff. Comfortable accommodation and superb food coupled with a very drinkable House Merlow. My first visit but have already booked to return, next time to sample the apparently extensive breakfast menu.

A great night as always at the tea house Sandip & the girls are so accommodating The night was a Meal & a psychic night . Check out on there FB page for there nights also booked on a Xmas doo there too . 🎄

Great night at the Teahouse last night with Kirsty Celik the Psychic Medium, I would thoroughly recommend Kirsty who strikes the right balance between messages, reassurance and humour, the Teahouse definitely created an excellent ambiance for the evening with Sandip and his staffs friendly attentive manner…..

We had a lovely breakfast here and the staff very accommodating for me, my friend and my daughter. This is my 5th, possibly 6th time coming here and would always highly recommend.

Great choice of food, lovely service, we had a mixture of sandwiches & Ploughmans, all freshly prepared. Lovely outside table reserved for us.

Visited The TeaHouse at Carr Bank Park on their Psychic Night on the 24th July.. Food was amazing, succulent chicken served with a spicy Moroccan salad on focaccia - followed by the nicest cheesecake I’ve had in a long time… The whole team are fabulous and take your order with a smile. Drink are lovely - I sampled a few Gins and my brother tasted (needed a couple of bottles) the beer that was recommended by Sandip the owner. Psychic Kirsty added to the night with her amazing presence bringing laughter and a few tears to a room full of strangers!! Thank you to Sandip and all his team for an amazingly wonderful evening. I’ve had breakfast and brunch here too in the past and I highly recommend visiting this place.. If you’ve not tried it please do - you won’t be disappointed.

Superb food and customer service!! Amazing choice of sandwich’s, hot food and cakes. Lovely outside seating area aswell as the beautiful and quaint inside. If you haven’t visited yet, why not? You don’t know what you’re missing!!!

We ordered the ploughman's lunch and quiche. It was absolutely fantastic. The staff were friendly and we had a lovely outside table too. Couldn't recommend this place highly enough. John and Valerie
