Priors Well Brewery in Mansfield

Sadly Prior's Well is now closing down. Gutted for the regulars who have become friends,the Stags fans who used this place and the many people who loved the music events held here. There's no other place like it in Mansfield. Will be missed. Good luck to the great staff who worked so hard to make this place what it was.

Our first visit to see live music this venue. With respect it's a great room, however the acoustics aren't great. Mainly because of the low steel cladded ceiling and bare brick walls. The sound is muffled and the midrange is lost completely. However I'm sure they're aware and unfortunately it's a hard expensive task to eradicate. That said there are great craft ales available and all the staff are friendly and helpful. Hopefully they get the sound right with a little investment because it could be a very special venue indeed.

I fancied a traditional Sunday Dinner and I had walked past this pub/restaurant on several occasions so decided to try it. I have never been made to feel so welcome anywhere. Talk about dinners as my mother used to make, they could have given my mother lessons. Very reasonably priced and the staff were very fiendly and efficient. I understand that they also serve breakfasts and I will be trying them soon. I really can't recommend this venue too highly

Why did they get rid off mansfield brewery in the 00s

Visited here today, the staff were brilliant, even restarted the coffee machine on for us, super friendly!

It was not what we expected but the staff couldn't have been more helpful. We asked for a coffee because it said cafe but the machine wasn't on. The guy soon switched on the machine and made our coffee. There was only five other people in but it gets busy if a match is on in town.

Very welcoming staff , cosy atmosphere , Lovely surroundings, Beer Taste’y reasonable prices, There’s a band on occasionally, Motown Music once a month in the afternoon come early evening, Also a cafe in the day to serve tasty home made food and drinks , what’s not to like !! 😊 First class
