Such an amazing little gem among trading shops. Great restaurant, very cutesy. Clean, bright and toilets are well looked after. Service was friendly and fast but the food definitely stole the show, the ingredients used in the Monty Breakfast was that of such a high quality, you could taste it. I will be recommending this place to everyone I see. Keep up the great work!

So, all the reviews were fantastic and yes we have been to the place and wonder how many are fake! It's not true here it is wonderful. Do not be put off by the fact it is not on a street, but in the middle of an industrial estate, you will find somewhere to park. I have only visited it for breakfast and cannot remember having one better anywhere else. 😊 They also, do lunch and afternoon. Plus the cakes look lovely.

Expensive for Mansfield if you are going to charge someone for a ham cob at least fill it up with ham one slice is not good enough listen to your customers

Quite a hidden place this. Only had bacon and sausage cobs there which were spot on. Everyone else’s food in there looks decent whilst I’m waiting!

Been loads of times but incredibly disappointing this time. The bread for my sandwich was dry and old. I'd have been ashamed to serve that. It's also always full of absolute fog horn folk screaming at one another across the table. Won't be back. You'll probably be fine but I'd dodge the sandwiches!

Absolutely amazing hidden little gem. We went for breakfast and wasn't disappointed, excellent quality food and excellent prices. The cafe was constantly busy with people eating in and taking away. Staff are lovely and friendly and the place is immaculate. 100% all round

We arrived at the end of lunchtime so were too late for a full turkey roast dinner. We opted for a turkey and stuffing baguette with chips with a cappuccino each. Oh my goodness! Absolutely fantastic! Very generous portions and delicious. Great coffee too!

Been a few times now with my mum. The food is always amazing. The steak baguette I had today was brilliant how I even managed to eat it all is a mystery. The portions are huge well worth every penny.

Spacious, clean and well laid out establishment with very pleasant and attentive staff. I had the full monty breakfast minus 2 fried eggs ( not a fan of eggs) and couldn't finish it all. Everything was hot and appeared freshly cooked with the bacon being a highlight and the sausages a, surprise too as they look like the catering variety but definately a cut above that. Well worth a visit

What a gem! Excellent food of varied and high standard. Fantastic table service. Highly recommend. Lovely atmosphere and staff. Another visit . Lunch this time. Avocado toast with runny eggs - perfectly runny. I added a couple of sausages for extra. Yummy! Again, The Bakers Shop was busy as usual. It's very popular but has many tables so always somewhere to sit either inside or outside.

Brilliant place For snack coffee or cake

Only had a BLT filled roll, honestly the best bacon I've ever had and food didnt take long to come out. I would 100% reccomend this

I find there prices very competitive for what you get staff very accomodating nothing is too much trouble will be calling again. If you want dried up overpriced rubbish then go to MacDonald's if not then Bakers Cafe is for you. Oh and the place is immaculately clean very important to me for an establishment serving food to the public .

Had heard about this lovely place from a couple of people. We decided to drop in for breakfast. The cafe is nicely decorated and clean, the staff were very friendly. I had the breakfast wrap and my husband had eggs Benedict (the best he has ever had) also the drinks were hot!! We will be going back

Followed them on Facebook for a good while but had never been, good coffee ☕food was lovely freshly cooked and plenty of it, (we both had the daily specials) & nice friendly staff, will be back ☺️

Warm, cozy and very friendly. Despite bring very busy service was quick and efficient. Good home style cooking, with good sized portions at a reasonable price. We will definitely be going again

Amazing gem of a place. If you've not visited, then do. Cooked breakfast really hits the spot and done to order. Pasta salad for tea as a takeaway, plentiful and worth the money.

Absolutely fabulous cafe. It's situated on an industrial estate but don't let that deter you from going. It's dog friendly too. Food is excellent with a fixed menu and a specials board. Reasonably priced and table service

Visited the Bakers shop twice now. Once for breakfast, once for lunch. Both times the food, drink & staff have been great! I would highly recommend. Great value for money also. Will 100% revisit again in the future

I asked for 2 well done bacon cobs , the girl wrote that down , 15 min later lady shouted 2 well done bacon cobs . I opened them up the bacon was half raw , what a waste of damn good bacon , I threw them in the bin Inc 2 teas £10:30 . Waste of money .

Brilliant food and staff . My new local lunch place

Been a couple of times before always enjoyed however on arrival at 9:40 this morning we were greeted by a woman who shouted at us saying they have only just opened and we need to come back, shouting 'there was a large fire if you didn't know'. We realise there was a fire on hermitage Lane however at this point the fire was extinguished, she turned down myself, Partner, a man and two fire fighters. It was appalling, we understand and fully appreciate they were late getting into their buisness we just thought 2 hours after opening time we'd have been absolutely fine but there was no reason to take her stress out on a bunch of paying customers. We will not be back.

Staff were very rude about customers after kicking them out before they had finished drinks.

Just been in for a cake and pot of tea we had only been in for 20min and were asked if we had finished could we leave as they were busy .This is the second time this has happened in here .We hadnt even finished our cup of tea was very embarrassing. I understand you are busy but please let people finish what they have purchased.

Absolutely a lovely place for a relaxed late lunch, even though my sister and I were very late, we were still served with, polite and happy staff, lovely atmosphere , ohh , the menu/food is delicious too.

Despite a hiccup picking the lads breakfasts up on Saturday, you can't fault the food,staff are extremely pleasant and a credit to the owners.

Been for takeaway breakfast 3 times. Order wrong 3 times. Had to return for missing items and get looked at like you are lying. Just had 2full montys. 2large bacon and sausage. Large sausage and egg plus 2 teas charged us£37.50 which seems extremely expensive compared to menu posted online. Other than that food not bad if you ever receive it
