The Coopers in Mansfield

I recently visited this pub and was blown away by the fantastic Halloween decor that set the perfect spooky atmosphere. The service was outstanding; the staff was friendly and attentive, making our experience even better. The food was delicious, with a great selection to choose from. A huge bonus is that they welcome furry friends, which is always a plus for pet owners. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun night out!

Good location, friendly happy staff, good pub food, clean and a nice atmosphere. Give the new family a chance as they have turned this pub around from being unfriendly, unwelcoming with unhappy staff to a lively welcoming pub. I have seen old and new faces come through the door, a lot of people are talking about how this pub has changed. I would highly recommend giving it a go.

Absolutely love this place! Friendly attentive staff that make you feel so welcome. We were there last Friday for a great live music session which helped create a brilliant atmosphere. My local from now on. Can't be beaten.

Great family run pub, all the staff seem happy as its smiles all round. When ypu ealk through the doors your greeted which doent happen much these days. Pub is very clean, food is nice and plenty of choice when it comes to drinks. We were told by others in the pub that they are new landlords and that they are doing a great job. We visited Cooper's for a family meal to celebrate my son's birthday. The food was spot on and the staff looked after us extremely well. Will definitely be back.

Amazing atmosphere, they have a kids toy corner which helped entertain my little one. Staff are all really friendly and service is great. Food is also great quality for money. Definitely one of my favorite places to go eat with the family, 5🌟 all around!

Went with Family, food and drink were good but the service is what really made our trip. Cameron (our server) was absolutely excellent. Very polite and nothing but smiles and jokes. He made us feel extremely welcome and was just amazing with my niece, will be returning soon!

Brilliant atmosphere on a Friday evening, bikes arrive in a great flow, drinks are Brilliant, staff are great and always polite. Would recommend this place

Such a stunning pub with great food that is reasonably priced. Fantastic staff and had the pleasure of meeting with the owners who were so friendly. The way they treat their customers really shows how much they care for their business and the surrounding community.

Was served by Josh, a super friendly and helpful guy. Philly Steak sandwich was absolutely unreal! Overall a great place to chill and eat over lunchtime.

Well where do I start..ordered the Hunters Chicken..it was dry and overcooked and very little barbecue sauce and I had to go and ask for the onion rings which the chef didn't put on the plate..definitely not worth the price we shall not be returning.

A new landlord a new feel to the pub the atmosphere and great place to eat and enjoy an evening out. The food was presented well tasted amazing. Rob and his family are welcoming and friendly staff attentive and knowledgeable. All in all a great place to be.

I came to visit the pub a few times during last week and I am proud to say that the service I received from the young man and young woman at the bar was amazing. Alex was attentive and always smiling and Georgia was always willing to help. As an outsider coming into this pub for one of the first times I was pleasantly welcomed. Despite the fact that they looked exhausted they never failed to make their customers a priority. I was really impressed and would recommend if a friendly atmosphere is what you are looking for.

Don't book here they cancelled our booking on arrival and don't listen to arrangements made by there staff poor customer service skills and rude wouldn't recommend

After this being booked two weeks In Advance and confirmed verbally and face to face we arrived and was told the kitchen was closed ! Go elsewhere would be my advice

Came in on Mother’s Day safe to say I will not be coming back, after the way I saw the manger speak to a member of staff no one should be spoke to like that. I felt so sorry for the young girl

I am so upset and unsettled with the service I received on Mother’s Day when i went out with my family for dinner, when sat in the restaurant I could see and hear the manager shouting and swearing at a member of staff which was a young female at the bar, then he followed her through the side door which I could still hear him shouting and swearing at her, I am devastated by seeing this when out with my family. This is no way to be talking to a member of staff while the restaurant was full of customers, poor management and this should be reporting as it’s not fair on customers or the staff. We don’t come out with family on a special occasion and have to witness something like this. This was bang out of order and unnecessary

We had booked for a family gathering and had all selected our menu in advance…however the only way to describe the experience is total chaos. It took over an hour to serve everybody their main course, we had booked for 15:00hrs -they started bringing out the main course at 16:15 and the last person got their main course at 17:20 By the time most of us got our main course the vegetables were cold There was a hair in my prawn cocktail and a piece of plastic in one of the other member of the party’s macaroni All in all it was shambolic to say the least

This is a great pub, with a brand new Sunday Carvery. The meat was so succulent and the vegetables were cooked beautiful. Will definatly return.

We visited the coopers on our way to Sherwood Forest, we couldn’t have chosen a better venue. Staff were welcoming and we all enjoyed our lunch. A varied menu including vegan and a good choice of beers available.
