Stag & Pheasant in Mansfield

My mum and I were going to the theatre to see a show and wanted to go somewhere nice to eat not too far away as she is a type 1 diabetic and needed to eat something before the show. I've been to stag and pheasant so many times with no issues. This experience was definitely the worst. I ordered on the app at 6.02pm, half an hour went by no drinks were bought to our table. Went down to bar, explained to manager asked whats happening and he said should be there soon. Another fifteen minutes went by, I went down to bar to enquire again, was greeted by a young girl behind the bar with attitude who told me someone came to our table to tell us they don't serve food upstairs. I said I can assure you noone has come at all. Then after i told her that she just said well you will have to wait for refund as im not authorised to do that. There was only one waitress running all the food all on her own whereas three people were behind the bar. I know it was busy and curry night but I couldn't believe how much food was being held in kitchen under heaters. There must have been over ten plates waiting to be run to the other tables for more than twenty minutes. Does not look good. When i got to see the manager he gave me a refund, I informed him that noone came to our table and told me anything. He asked member of staff if he did and he replied no. (He didn't do much most of time, just kept dawdling/walking around restaurant not helping that poor waitress) I told manager there's one waitress that's been too busy to do anything else. What was worse is there was no sign to say there's no food served upstairs and the table we sat at even had a table number of 16. Even though, my partner and I have had food served to us upstairs previously. How were we supposed to know no food can't be served upstairs without any proper signage? If policy states no food to be served upstairs, take the table number off table so it doesn't happen again. I was not very happy because I wasted so much time waiting for food to come and it never did. Had I of known earlier, I could have got my mum something else to eat as she is supposed to eat regularly with her diabetes. All staff need to have training in communicating with each other and the young staff need training in customer service. This is something they are all lacking. I will definitely not be going to the Stag and Pheasant again. Absolute waste of time.

Was in town for the football so popped into this J D Wetherspoon outlet. Several ales on cask plus the usual range of keg beers. Decent sized pub but was fairly busy as Mansfield Town were playing. Alright for a couple of pints in a decent town centre location.

Visit regular and regularly have onion rings. Yet again we've been shortchanged with the amount we get. How hard is it to count 12 onion rings out without miscounting again for only 10? Disappointed with that again but we both had fish and chips and we both enjoyed it. Will visit again but hope not to be ripped off.

Visited here with family members for a light meal and it was spot on. We all had different dishes which were all basic but nice, small portions but that’s all we wanted and it was adequate. Food was tasty enough and the price was good at under £40 for four of us plus drinks. Staff were lovely but could have done with more than the two bar staff as it got busy. Place was clean with a good atmosphere and is well worth a visit.

I have reviewed this place before when I came with my mum, it was lovely then and still is now. The staff member I mentioned last time was working again. I managed to get her name this time around. (Amanda) she went above and beyond again. Honestly you need to make sure you keep her and maybe get her to train some of the other staff. I had the fish and chips this time. The food was lovely and fresh. Could have done with a few more mushy peas but that's my only issue.

Having worked myself in Hospitality Management for the past ten years, I tend to analyse and scrutinise customer service wherever I go, and as someone who is very attentive to detail, I am very quick to spot the good and the bad. Hospitality is not an easy industry to work in these days and, therefore, I think exceptionally good talent/individuals should be recognised. I called into 'The Stag and Pheasant' for breakfast and coffee a couple of days ago. Sat there alone, I was watching and observing, and one member of staff really stood out as someone who was ticking all the right boxes. I was sorry I didn't catch her name, but she was definitely a manager of some kind, quite tall and had long blonde hair. Her work ethic was outstanding in what was a very busy pub. She was continuously running food, clearing tables, jumping on the bar when her colleagues needed that extra help... in fact, she was all over the place! Furthermore, she worked at speed, was efficient in everything she was doing and engaged with all customers with professional chatter, a smile and a can-do attitude. I said to her when she cleared my plate, 'This place would be lost without you... you're really on top of things'. She responded, 'Thank you... I try to do my best'. If I was picking a team of hospitality superstars, I would definitely pick her. My only criticism of this pub is that it’s very dark and could benefit from better lighting.

Ordered the steak and kidney pudding. Portion was more for a child, spoonful of mushy peas. We'll sauce. Spoonful of mash. Definitely not for adult. I would serve more to my grandson. Insult really. Definitely not the cleanest as walking up the stairs to the toilets noticed how dirty the stairs were and dust on bannisters. Toilets not great. Such a shame. As we always use weatherspoons. Bolsover chesterfield being our favourite.

We go every Friday for breakfast. Great food, good service and competitively priced. Probably one of the best breakfasts in town.

My scampi and chips was good as usual but my wifes bbq chicken wasn't very warm. She said it's the worst meal she's had here. The table we sat on was disgusting we had to clear it ourselves

My wife and I called in on a snowy February night and I had a very nice chicken pasta, and my wife had a spicy meat feast pizza with a portion of chips. The food was hot and tasty and the staff all great. The place was that nice that we stayed and had an additional small glass of wine.

We always go here every other Saturday before a night out. Me and my wife both had scampi and chips with a side order of 12 onion rings. The food was great apart from only getting 10(TEN) onion rings. How hard is it to count 12. Not very good they knew they'd sold me short. Nevertheless we'll still visit again.

A friend of mine many moons ago raved about fish and chips at Spoons. I didn't take it seriously. Pubs cannot do fish and chips well. Wrong. Oh my god the fish and chips here is outstanding. Crispy batter, beautiful white fish. I cannot fault it. Trust me, this is damn good fish and chips.

Racist and Rude staff and manager. Treated me and my mum terribly even seeing us with my son who is one and we just wanted to order so he could get his lunch.

Ok pub. Very dark inside though with not much outdoor light coming in unless you sit right near the front doors. Not had food here but from what I've seen doesn't look that special just your basic pub food.

Average wethetspoons,quite expansive inside but little natural daylight.In the good beer guide but the pint I had was rather cloudy.Some pubs in goid beer guide but probably shouldn't be.

I went here yesterday (24.10) I was served by a lovely young lady with blonde hair, she then brought my food over and cleared up after. She seemed to be doing everything. I tried to see her name tag but realised it just said manager or something. The rest of the staff were also very friendly. The pub could do with a refit maybe some more lighting my mum struggled to read menu as dark. 10/10 would recommend.

Visited after the stags match and before a night out. It was busy as the other spoons around the corner has shut. You'd think there'd be more staff behind the bar as it was busy. Took ages to get served. We had food and drinks ordered through the app after. It wasn't long before the drinks arrived, the food wasn't long after. We both had scampi and chips with a side order of onion rings. Both were good as usual. The lack of service may put me off going again.

Big fat disgrace, ate all my meal but my burger didn’t even come with beef drinks took 30 mins to come and they where only soft drinks but chips where delish!

Ordered a large mixed grill,that supposed to come with 6 onion rings but this did not come with any!complained 3times but still did not receive these.

Popped in here for a couple of drinks during a shopping trip and enjoyed it. Nice atmosphere and pleasant,friendly staff. Place was clean and had a decent atmosphere and as usual with a Wetherspoon pub a great choice of drinks at good prices. Will visit again.

Visited Friday night. When we got in there was a live band on which toward the end of their set were playing some good music. Toilets upstairs which is a pain in the backside.

Ordered a sausage, chips and beans and ended up with just a sausage not impressed, sons crying now he’s not gonna eat for the rest of the day

Me and my partner popped in for a quick meal before his doctors appointment. While there a member of staff (Adam) continously avoided us. Came to realise I knew him from years ago as my sisters ex, I have no hard feelings and would not have said a word however he attended tables around us and never checked on us, hid behind bar machines and gave me and my partner horrid looks, pointed and whispered to other staff and refused to even acknowledge my partner. This left us both feeling incredibly uncomfortable and despite it being one of our favourite places and where we met we will be very unlikely to go back, especially when he is working. This is entirely unprofessional behavior. I attempted to speak with another member of staff about this but was also ignored and walked away from which could have been a mistake and they didn't hear me but doubtful as they turned and looked when I said excuse me saw who it was speaking and immediately left the area. We had to make it to the appointment so we left at that point.

Nice to see that Karl has finally got the manager role he deserves, well done mate. I like the Sand P normally as its our pub of choice when the Stags are playing at home. Or like yesterday, when the game was off so we went there anyway. And its a fair mix of Joe and Josephine public who go in there. Saturdays are particularly busy I find. Thursdays not so with a security person single handedly emptying the place of anybody without ID or that he didn't like the look of. Tim Martin oft quotes the " The Moon under Water" poem as his ethos on what constitutes a good pub. Two roaring fires it says. This place has anything but. With the aircon on full (I thought we were saving energy) its absolutely Baltic in certain areas. To have to remember to wrap up before going in verges on the ridiculous. Even in summer. Unlike the adjacent Spoons round the corner, this pub executes a queueing policy at the bar. An ideal opportunity to engage in conflict as I did when politely mentioning this to some woman who'd gone straight to the front only for me to be met with returning abuse verging on the hysterical, a concerned husband and a barman denying there was even a queueing policy at all. Thanks for nothing. It needs clarification and this is not the first time either. Either put signs up asking folk to queue or rely on the good bonhomie of the clientele to inform bar staff that "they were before me" and the bar staff to recognise who has been patiently waiting longest to be served - and do away with queueing altogether. Some give it a "sorry mate, didn't realise" as I would do. A bit of civility costs nothing and the current system they have here is broken. It needs sorting Karl.

So, what can I say, I work in hospitality so I can see when a ship is sinking pretty badly. I noticed immediately that they were CLEARLY understaffed in FoH, the two people I did see walking around looked like they didn't have a clue what was going on. I ordered food and drinks together on the app, waited 20 minutes until I saw my drink on the end of the bar and went to go get it myself since no drinks were being ran regularly. A further 10 minutes of watching staff look at the stack of food to be run and scratching their heads I saw what I assume is the general manager come out of the kitchen looking panicked. The plates were being run one at a time, please learn to carry at least 2 for the love of God! The food arrived cold to the touch and missing items, severely underwhelming, didn't dare say I didn't like it or I missed things in case it took another half an hour to come back. Wouldn't come back again unless you train your staff better or told them to act like they cared a little. - hair needs to be tied back. - Clothing was inappropriate. - Smile once every so often, it goes a long way. - Just watched a customer clear their own table to help. Poor management meant the two people were doing things together, so clearing one table between them, running food to one table at a time together when they should have the divide and conquer technique, one running drinks and clearing, one running food... come on guys. It was so disappointing . Never thought I'd be a Karen but it was that bad... sorry.

Food was lovely. That gave the 1 star. Had an American Pancakes breakfast and was perfect! However, the attitude and professionalism of the staff is disgusting! Waitress served my friends food in a crop top with long hair hanging down everywhere. She carried plates out with her bare skin (stomach under her chest) touching the food. When my friend politely mentioned this to the manager, he chose to argue with my friend before getting her a fresh egg which he then practically threw at my friend. Not even a fake apology. Him and the waitress then decided to stare at us talking and laughing at us behind our backs. Thankfully we are just visiting on our way home and won't have to return here again

I always considered this pub to be amongst the best Wetherspoon bars in the county - and I’ve tried most of them! But over the past few weeks it has changed. They have decided to cram lots of extra high tables and stools into the area immediately in front of the bar. Impossible to use them all, they are so lose together, but they also make it like an obstacle course to try and get to the bar. It was difficult early on during our visit, when the bar was virtually empty. As it filled up towards lunchtime we gave up and went to another pub. Looks like Wetherspoon are giving a very clear message to customers with mobility issues, or pushchairs - go elsewhere, we don’t want you.

As it's January they were selling Ruddles at 99p a pint, so that earned at an extra mark, however, it hardly makes it a recommendation. There was a serious staff shortage, resulting in lengthy queues to get served, half-eaten food on plates left on tables and also left dirty.

Went in here at 7pm .what a sh@t hole its gone downhill so badly . One barmaid serving customers one making drink orders from the app so a long wait. No music playing so no atmosphere food all over the floor empty glasses all over the tables empty dirty food plates as well and the bar must have had at least 50 glasses waiting to be washed piled up. The cliental has dropped felt like I was in job centre or benefit office. To top this there was 10 kids bolting around . Sorry not stepping foot in here again unless wanting to catch something or buy drugs . We went next door to the Widowfrost loads of staff really clean and a great atmosphere I know were im going in future .

A few friends and I attended today for lunch. We ordered our food and drinks on the app. Our food came but no drinks at all. We asked the waiter about the drinks around 5 minutes after the food came, he told us that the bar is very busy, and we will have to wait. So, we continue to eat the meal and another 10 minutes went by before we asked the same waiter about the drinks - this time to be shouted at by him and to be told he is very busy, and we aren't his priority! In this time, we had watched people come and sit down, order and be served drinks! We finished our meal and by this time, still had no drinks. We waited another 10 minutes before going down to the bar to ask the bar staff about our drinks. We were told that we could have them made or have a refund. Because the meal was complete - we chose the refund route, I was told it would be in within 30 minutes and at 19:15PM, I have still had no refund. We were not only treated and spoke to like an inconvenience rather than a customer TWICE. But were also shouted at, spoken down to and lied to.

Upon arrival staff members were extremely friendly and pleasant :) our main waiter as well was a lovely man making many jokes with me and my family. I was recommended by my sister to have a pizza as she loves them and says that it’s the best pizza that she has ever had. To which I did and I was not disappointed! Full of flavour and the cheese was DIVINE. Usually you find that pizza bread isn’t very tasty but this was insanely and surprisingly good! I would 100% recommend Wetherspoons pizza to anyone, one of the best pizzas I have had.

Adam smith provides excellent service all night, and is a great member of stag and pheasant :) lovely person

I come here an awful lot with friends and I always have a good time and amazing service! The food is always top notch and everything is affordable and at a good price!All the staff are great and give amazing service! The only staff member I have a problem with is the guy who always wears a waistcoat, he needs to work on his customer service skills because he is rude, arrogant and always looks like he doesn’t want to be here. He needs to learn how to treat people with respect and not like s**t because at the end of the day he will drive the customers away!

Called for a lunchtime meal on Friday (15th), reasonably busy, tables mostly full but still space. Opted for a table of 4 , back deck, telly on, friendly waitresses, smiles alround, had fish and chip Friday x 3 + jacket pot, excellent beers and lagers, ordered online, paid on card, food delivered within 20min, all orders correct, food hot, excellent fish, would have again. Well done girls, you did your job well, see you next Friday ! You've won us over.

So order off the 3 plates for a 10 menu and have to say the halloumi fries where great. Unfortunately the pizza which was described as margarita with basil came like this! Now like I said I do NOT claim to be a chef of any sort, but hunni that's called cress and does not belong on a pizza. If you guys dont know the difference between cress and basil what else is going wrong in the kitchen?

I have been going coming here for food for years at least once a month, I wrote my first review on 4th September 2017 and unfortunately it has been going downhill, the food used to be very nice and a treat to look forward to, but it’s not what it used to be, the breakfast was the highlight for myself but now I am lucky to get a breakfast that is edible, the bacon to start with has barely been cooked, the tomato would of been better sliced in a salad as it was barely grilled, the sausages have been ok on some days but unfortunately there have been more bad than good days, the beans, the mushrooms and hash browns have hardly been warm, on numerous occasions I have had my food order been delivered wrong I have asked for no egg and it has been brought with eggs, I understand that this place is used as a night place for people but many of times I have found myself sticking to the floor in the mornings, the staff on the other hand I can’t complain with as they have always been polite and courteous and have sorted the food out when it has been wrong I am sorry to have to say but I will no longer be coming here until things have improve

My sons girlfriend ordered the food, then about five minutes later a manageress came up to the table and said we'd ordered the food separately, we said no we've ordered it together, then she said do you want it together we said yes. Baby lilys food came first then after five minutes mine... Then ten minutes later still waiting for the other. So toni went up to the bar to explain & ask for a manager. She came we explained again, finally got the food, at this time I hadn't received any cutlery for mine. Got a free drink! Food was lovely though

Thursday lunch 5/9/19, impressive looking Spoons & only a few empty tables, I did fancy a nice hand pulled bitter, but most of the pumps where in the half cocked position? Looked around the tables most where drinking John Smiths, so John Smiths it was, can't say I've every tasted it this cold, but it was well kept & good drink, did some meal deal drink & food X 2 around £11, food was basic, but hot & cooked, pepped it up with mayo & Cholula hot sauce.

This pub is ok for cheaper meals im not keen on the char grilled breakfast but its good value for money if you want luxury you need to dig deeper into your pockets and go elsewhere

Any kind of wetherspoons is never my first choice for a meal, probably because my level of expectations is always low. Dont get me wrong I know expect to visit and wetherspoons and get a full gourmet experience but basic order taking skills should be adhered to?! Visited Thursday just gone with a friend (not my choice) and the experience was just crap from the get go! Bar staff very miserable when I ordered drinks, took me 5 mins to even be acknowledged. One of the young girls serving was being trained by another male behind the bar.. my god was she doormant - no smile, no hello, she looked bored and was almost whispering at me. Ordered food for me and my friend, gammon without chips and a jacket potatoe instead and no egg, i ordered a cheese and tomatoe panini to come with chips instead of salad. Food came literally 5 mins later which worried me, and the gammon came with egg - my panini came with a salad?? When querying this with the young male waiter he apologised and got the egg taken off for my friend and when I stated mine was meant to come with chips instead of salad his response was 'oh it looks like they've put it through with salad by mistake' ok great i can see that... he then said 'do you want me to get you a portion of chips or are you happy to have it with salad?' are you kidding me lol? I asked for chips so obviously i want chips? Why would you even ask, like he was hoping i would say dont worry its fine so he didnt have to go and get me some chips.. service is BELOW AVERAGE at best. Food okish. The only reason I'm scoring a 1 is because the halloumi fries were the only good thing about my visit! Never again

Friends arranged to meet here dispite my disapproval again bar staff incredibly rude, seemingly serving people they knew better first got our order wrong twice only upside i got to be smug AF telling my friends I had said how awful the place was. Literally any where else would be an upgrade.

Either undercooked or burnt tomato, charred toast and bacon so thin and mine tasted of maple flavour on my breakfast. They were a while ago the breakfast to beat, but as regular visitors we think the standards are going down.

We went here for breakfast. We got drinks, one small vegetarian and one vegan breakfast all for under £10.

Had a few friends visit from down south to celebrate my mums 50th, took them to stag and pheasant for the night, door staff were very friendly on arrival, atmosphere was great and it was nice to go somewhere which has a real mixture of ages... It was also nice to see that if there was any sign of trouble the door staff were quick to diffuse the situation which makes the night more enjoyable and the venue a lot safer than some of the other places in Mansfield... Overall its a great place to go for a night out, cheap drinks, really friendly staff and a lot safer than most places!! Thanks for making my mums 50th a night to remember!!!

Had the most amazing night what friendly bar staff nothing was too much trouble the door staff were so welcoming especially Dan who went out of his way to make my friend's birthday one to remember thank you everyone will definitely be back such wonderful people

Went on a girls night out and was pleasantly surprised by the staff. Bar staff were busy but we were effectively served quickly. Door staff in particular were helpful, friendly and vigilant with any issues dealt with quickly. Would highly recommend

Fish was amazing nice crunch , chips beautifully cooked nice a crisp and fluffy inside , dessert was nice and warm had the cookie dough and ice cream , and to have kopparburg strawberry and lime on draught is amazing

Let me begin by saying that usually the Stag and Pheasant is a reasonable pub. Food usually adequate and provides a true representation of the price you pay. You don’t go to a Wetherspoons to expect a gourmet meal, however, you do expect some basics to be met. Sadly on this occasion standards fell below what I would deem acceptable. The food was over fried, somewhat greasy as if it had not been allowed to rest and be soaked away prior to serving, however, yes it may be a Wetherspoons, but this shouldn’t be acceptable.

So last night we was out for our mother in laws birthday been round all the pubs in town and get here, the door men asked for I D from one of our party, ( fair enough no problem with that) BUT he don’t carry his I d his mum dose because he’s Autistic so after finding his i d the Bouncer says is not allowed in because it’s got tracksuit bottoms on ( fair enough but he could of said this to start with) this is where it gets interesting the bouncer then decides to start mocking the autistic person, mocking how he talks ect and when he walks away the wife tells him he can’t talk to people and Especially not him because he autistic, he proceed to say ‘DO I CARE IS THAT MY FAULT’ and starts giving it the big un I asked him for his badge number and he said 6 ( although I think he must be lieing) why this is all going off his apparently supervisor is just stood there with a dormant look on his face , I don’t in tend to let this lie these people are ment to be there to look out for people not to stand there taking the P**S I only wish I took a picture of the short bald headed person !

Just wanted to say that Martins is a credit to the business!! After wanting the nachos we were told that they had run out and he sold us the chicken bites that didn’t disappoint, a bubbly polite and lovely staff member!

Bar staff really rude and slow. Dont bother with crap bitchy service when there are so many other decent bars to go too.

Have tried breakfast at many other places but always return here as you can’t beat it for the quality, value and speedy service. The staff here are very friendly and polite.

Called in for an early breakfast , friendly service and breakfast arrived just after I'd got my coffee. Classic Weatho's you know what you're going to get and at a good price. Wife and her friends all like the Tuesday Steak nights. Well done, keep it up.

Always a pleasant place to eat with a good atmosphere ,the dining staff are always busy but also helpful and attentive .The steaks are always cooked to your liking and very tasty and all the food is hot on arrival.We go there quite a lot and have never been disappointed

Stag's great as usual if you fancy a damn decent night out for a drink, but I wouldn't bother past about 10 most nights myself because of the crowd the local clubs pull always in. That being said 👌

Visited Saturday 24th of November 2018. Staff were very slow and I saw our food on the pass a good 5 minutes before it got delivered. It was cold when it arrived and they seemed pretty brassed off when we complained. I didn't send my food back, but didn't eat most of it, because the attitude shown seemed to make it very likely that sending food back there might not be a good idea.

If you're looking for a breakfast in Mansfield then avoid the stag and pheasant. I've eaten here several times and not once has my breakfast had everything it should. It's never the same thing either, one week it will be sausage another week it's hash browns. In addition to this the entire place looks and feels like a French bar after a nuclear holocaust.

Visited on a Sunday afternoon, the place wasn’t too busy, ordered food at the bar , I think the barman was hungover from the night before....he got my order wrong, charged me more money than gave me a watery drink!

been a while since we went there but was pleased we got our usual great breakfast . cooked to perfection and son had great vegetarian breakfast pleasant staff too. well done to the staf and a very happy new year

We went here for breakfast. We got drinks, one small vegetarian and one vegan breakfast all for under £10. Good to see they offer a vegan option now. Great big pub with good service.

Good food and cheep beer .My Wife and I went here last night before seeing The Circus of Horror show,Food was good and people were friendly plenty of room to sit and it was clean. We will go again next time we are at a show in Mansfield thank you Mr Wetherspoons :)).

Popped in for lunch on Sunday. Very busy but staff were attentive and quick. Food was of a very high standard. We will be coming here again.

Love this pub but it's being killed by having no music until 5pm. It's emptying quickly due to no atmosphere... Such a shame

Turns into a nightclub at night - which is superb. Great building and well laid out. Fairly busy and attracts a good crowd. Cheap as well. Certainly would return - plays great music, really enjoyed.

A large and well kept establishment with a bar in the middle. Pleasant to the eyes.

Unfotunately for a Lloyds Bar NO MUCIC B4 FIVE PM which made the experience duller than it should be. Don't get me wrong we enjoyed the experience but "Top Brass" saying because a nearby Spoons is FOR SALE should not mean you're going to downgrade our local to a lesser experience. Please listen to the people that make this venue very profitable - it can be a fine line between LOSS and profit.

Went for brunch on a rainy sunday and it was perfectly acceptable. Good value but not exciting or exceptional. Sausages were mass produced OK sausages which is a pity when the north has so many excellent artisan sausage producers. Out of stock of black pudding actually ruined breakfast for me personally as I made sure to check the menu before ordering and was only told it was off when the breakfast actually arrived. Got to try harder to stand out.

Came here for the first time about a year ago and been quite a few times since now and it is such a nice place. I love the food and the menu is extensive, so much to choose from. And as if the prices weren’t already low, there’s also often a managers special on. There is also a huge selection of drinks that also have offers - I really enjoy the pink gin! I like that you can order on the app as it’s such a big place the bar can get crowded easily so it’s great I can just use the app. The staff are always friendly and polite

This was a great place for my Stag Night 🦌 with some great real ales, lagers and special whiskys 🥃. There is a large Events room for all occasions and a resident DJ putting out some great sounds and any requests.

Went for dinner downloaded the app whilst in there. Ordered food and drinks. The staff came with the drinks and 5 mins later so did the food. 10 out 10 will use the app again

1st time we've been here. Got served really quickly by a pleasant lady. We got our coffee which was refillable. I love their coffee especially the flat white. Anyway bout time we did that our lunch came. We had jacket potato with salad. It was delicious. After having 3 coffees I needed the ladies. As both me and mother are disabled I assumed the ladies were downstairs. We did ask. So off we trot. We needed a key to which I didn't know. The bar lady came rushing to our service. Which I thought was lovely of her. So afterwards I went up to her and praised her for good service and lovely food.

I visited a after a gym session with a friend. Our visit was late evening but the staff were still able to offer a full menu. The food was cooked to order and enjoyable. Well needed after a good workout.

Breakfasts always nice , staff helpful, burgers nice onion rings best we have tasted , drinks nice , clean toilets, often visit when in Mansfield

This is a very cheap, but excellent place to eat. A very extensive and varied menu, great drinks, with many free refills. Super staff.

I was eating here a Empire State Burger and that was tasty but i think they can add more vegetables. My girlfriend ordered fish and chips and she was pleased.

A group of us went to for a leaving do meal for our friend and colleague.The service was good, the food was delicious. We have been for work nights out before and we always have a good meal with good service. Will be going again soon.

Amazing food and stop there a lot but annoyed at the fact that you can’t order a desert after 9 pm without ID it’s not like we was there to drink

reasonably priced, sometimes have to wait a while to order to due to being popular and so busy but don't have to wait long for food to arrive, only gripe is you now have to get your own drink and they need another machine currently only got one, friendly staff

As it says above awful unpleasant & rude staff, very poor customer service, would not recommend or return. AVOID unless you want attitude when ordering at the bar!!!!!!!
