We stopped here by chance for lunch . Great find. Lovely quirky place. Large free car park. Weather was good so we were outside in the courtyard . Really nice setting. Friendly and efficient service. Good lunch selection . Nice food. Dog friendly with water bowls and a tap in the courtyard. Seems a busy place . Would return if in area again

We wanted somewhere local for our anniversary lunch. Friends had recommended this place to us. We were not disappointed! Service, cleanliness, and the quality of the food were all superb. We both opted for the Faggots. Large portions, hot and freshly cooked to perfection! - Would recommend to anyone!

This is one of our favourite places to eat, whether its breakfast or dinner, the food is served fresh and hot. The owner is a lovely bloke, and nothing is too much trouble for him. How anyone could leave a bad review is beyond me. We are off there today for our dinner, we mostly go for breakfast every other week but having a change today. We live 16 miles away so not local.

This place used to have good home cooked food and reasonably priced, good beers. It's changed hands at least once perhaps more times since I last went in but post lockdown, someone is obviously trying to recoup the money lost whilst closed. I ordered two pints of beer - not the mega expensive poseur's lager - and asked the girl behind the bar if she'd made a mistake and taken for three pints, it was that expensive. Didn't have any more, chose against eating there and have not been back since. Ridiculous prices. Shame because it's a really nice setting.

Found this place by accident following a break down on my bike. I was exhausted and settled at the bar to gather myself and make recovery arrangements in front of the warm fire. The young bar man was a real gentleman. Sourced my food and drink, pie chips and mushy peas hit the spot. The barman helped me access WiFi to contact my recovery company and he offered to look after my bike if I needed to leave and come back to collect it. A coke and coffee latter I was saddened to learn the recovery firm had let me down. I was not told to go the place was happy for me to stay in the warm whilst other arrangements were made. I was tempted by the desert menu and had a large ice cream and cookie concoction which raised my spirits as well as my sugar levels. Tho summarise the food was excellant reasonably priced and atmosphere welcoming. I cannot praise the young barman enough who should good customer service and concern for a person in difficult position. Thank you lovely country pub!

Another very tasty meal at Ediz. So much to choose from on menu at reasonable prices. Good service and good portions. Will call again when in Retford, my favourite place to eat.

Not a bad atmosphere as you walk through the door, although it took a few minutes for them to realise I was there, luckily the TV was on current affairs. Some tables still had dirty plates on them. Ordered a large sandwich and was asked if I wanted extras on, (egg was mentioned but I didn't get any). The sandwich was well worth the money (£4.60) as it was really full. Negatives were: bread was soggy but this was due to everything inside, eg coleslaw, salad cream etc. This also meant the sandwich fell to bits so I had to eat it with fork. They used clingfilm instead of foil/paper to wrap, this added to the mess when it was unwrapped. Big one for me was the lady DID NOT use gloves, I mentioned this and she said that she had just washed her hands, the clothes she was wearing were really dirty which did not fill me with joy. Overall the sandwich filled me up, the staff was kind and helpful but I won't return as I prefer cleanliness above all else.

Called in the Red Hart for Sunday Lunch a week or so ago - full carvery, choice of 4 meats and the full works - which you can load your plate up -- all for the bargain price of £15 which included a pint. Good warm friendly atmosphere in the village of Misterton, Nr Doncaster - excellent value for money 5 stars. Highly recommended.

Mixed feelings on this place. It's a nice site but when you're given an a4 sheet about not driving on the grass to access your pitch it's very off putting. The problem is the layout makes it almost impossible not to go on the grass. There are very limited toilet/ shower facilities and each time we went to these they were in use. The cafe is nice and does good cakes
