Cafe Neo in Bassetlaw

Went for breakfast and was pretty disappointed. Luke warm coffee, burnt toast and a guy with a bushy beard with no covering. Nipped to the toilet and no soap, hand dryer switched off so only toilet paper to try hands on. Won't be revisiting.

Always enjoy the vegetarian breakfast when I go. They’re always happy to swap the fried bread for toast and the fried eggs to scrambled. I have to be careful how many times I go as it’s so delicious! Staff are lovely too.

The cafe neo is an excellent place to visit in worksop. It is spotlessly clean and very spacious. It is excellent for people with disabilities as the staff are so welcoming and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble whether its making the table accessible by removing a chair or just having a friendly smile and chat. I would recommend it to all wheelchair users as it has a disabled toilet too.

This was our first visit to cafe neo and we were not disappointed! Lovely food , very clean ,very friendly staff and very welcoming 😀 Would certainly recommend it to anyone wanting a bite to eat or drink. Will certainly be going again. Thank you. David and Sylvia

Went for afternoon tea for Mother’s Day today. They did a fantastic job it all looked lovely food was fantastic. Staff here are always very friendly. I hope they do it again next year 10/10

Incredible!!! Booked breakfast with Santa as a last minute thing. Called and spoke to Diana and she was so helpful. Went today and we were really impressed. The breakfast was lovely and kids loved it as they have a sweet tooth. Was way too much food for us and we took it away in a take out box. The Santa they get in is possibly the best I’ve ever seen. He’s a lovely guy made sure he got around everyone and posed for photos. We will Be back next year with our tribe!!!!

Waited 25 minutes for a “monster breakfast”(see picture) everything was over cooked (probably why it took soo long) possibly the worst plate of food that I’ve ever attempted to eat. I would also add that it was soo dry that I didn’t even finish it. Jenny’s is a 90 second walk so there is no reason for you to suffer the way that I did this morning.

Absolutely amazing place to eat! We come here regularly and the food is always gorgeous. The service is the best around. Always so friendly and nothing is ever too much trouble. Prices are great value and the food is so tasty. The best Cafe around. Child friendly too as our daughter is always made a fuss over which she loves. Thanks again for another lovely trip!

Lovely food pleasant staff, but one of the chefs/waiters has a very large bushy beard and most of the time while we was there he did not use any coverings or or snoods to cover it !!.very of putting really and not very hygienic

Regular visitor to Cafe Neo. Friendly staff give a warm welcome and the coffee is excellent. Good selection of food and sandwiches all at reasonable prices and the choice to eat indoors or outside under cover.

Bought a bacon and has brown sandwich and it was honestly the nicest sandwich I've ever had. However, even though i had a couple of extras. £9.35 for a sandwich and A little bottle of fresh orange is absolutely ridiculous. So that may well put me off buying from their again. But couldn't fault the sandwich it was delicious

I had a massive breakfast served in minutes with a latte in the price, and they serve the best coffee ive had yet in Worksop ! Recommend to all...

Small breakfast OK. Cakes possibly a day old. Staff very nice. As a Visually Impaired visitor i had to ask to be let in the toilet due to code being required. At 65 I get a bit put out having to be assisted.

2day we called at cafe neo for breakfast it was very filling would deffo recommend it did not take long tong come once we had ordered

Called in for a bite to eat and we were not disappointed. We had jacket potato and filling which was really tasty and well presented.The tea was really hot. This may sound strange to some people but I only like tea when it is really hot and in most places it is just hot as opposed to really hot. This is a massive bonus to me. It was clean, the staff were friendly and government guidelines were being followed. What more can you ask for ?

The flexi breakfast is worth the money 6 items plus you can a hot of cold drink with it would deffo recommend it

Went to visit today and have lunch with my love.The Chef picked up on this and whipped me up something special . .!!! They had also done something different for a couple of other people. . .Fantastic . .! The staff were exceptional, not only polite and with a smile, but the chef and I presume the manager came over whilst I was getting my coffee and asked if I would like some other healthy extras to go with my meal. . . This place is a little gem and is surely going to do really well!!! Coffee was spot on and the place was ultra clean. . So impressed. . . I will be eating there again. . !! :-)))

Always good food, although the place can be packed (always a good sign) its well worth the wait for a table. They used to be located across the road but the new location is much better. If you just want Honest grub, or something a bit special, this place has it all- and excellent service too !

I like to support local businesses and decided to chuck into here with the little un for some lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Having sat down we checked out the menu and my little girl went for the pizza kids lunch and I opted for chilli con carne. To be honest the chilli was more like the kids meal! Very small portion and no side like garlic bread etc with it for £5.95 is really not worth it. Not only that it was tasteless. Not overly spicy and quite watery. The pizza kids meal consisted of a MICROWAVE Chicago town pizza (cheese and tomato) about 20 frozen chips and a few tablespoons full of peas. I so wish I hadn't walked past jenny's cafe to get to this one! The coffee and milk shake however were fine but pricey! Don't think I'll be coming here again! Wouldn't recommend to anyone!

went here a couple of days ago.we had the Neo Breakfast x2..the staff were very good and very friendly,,took a little time to come but when it arrived I was so disappointed with the look of the meal and taste and nearly cold....I would suggest they need to up the quality of products and use better quality tea , this review is in no way connected to the service we had...really nice staff

I love Cafe Neo, if you are looking for some good old English breakfasts, butties etc. then it is spot on. The food is really nice, staff are brilliant and always say hello and goodbye. It is clean and a nice little play area for the kids

Great place staff are very friendly when you arrive and when you leave always say thank you and goodbye nice variety of meals which are always very good play area in corner for young children I can highly recommend it

as the title says best cafe in worksop. brilliant food at brilliant prices. my young daughters favourite place to eat as there is a small area just for the children to play which she loves. plenty of choice on the menu for food and drinks and everything ive had has been great.

After been served by breakfast I noticed that a hair was in my breakfast. I mentioned it to one of the staff there Sheila and she just pulled the hair out and said oh yeah it's not one of mine! No replacement breakfast offered just a free breakfast next time. Who would want to eat back in there after taht. I have avoided the place since

This venue is an old favourite with me it is extremely spacious cafe unlike so many cafe's in Worksop where you are almost on top of each other here you have plenty of room between tables and a really good play area for the children which means you can finish your meal !! And enjoy a very good brand of coffee for a change !! The food is basic but of good quality with some home made meals on the menu, it has a good mixture of healthy meals and in summer months has a salad bar on which is nice, it also has a good children's menu and you can even have half jacket potatoes for smaller appetite's. One thing that is very good is that it also has booths available for breast feeding mothers. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

This cafe is above average and one of the best in Worksop. Prices are reasonable, the place is clean and the service is good

First visit here will be the last. The food is of extreme poor quality. Deep fried cheap sausages and frozen cardboard chips..... Even my toddlers couldn't stomache it. Avoid

This Cafe Ticks all the boxes on so many levels! First of all, there is something for everyone. I have three children, all very fussy eaters. As a family we often struggle when choosing somewhere to eat as everyone likes something different. At Cafe Neo this is never a problem. There is such a broad menu offering top quality and fresh food. Healthy Jacket potato & salad for mum, Big fry up for dad (perfectly cooked, no horrible grease on the plate, fresh and perfectly presented) tasty nuggets, pizza, egg and chips for the kids! Food is served quickly and hot by very friendly and competent staff. The best part is while the adults can enjoy a coffee (just a satisfying as top chain brands and a fraction of the price) in peace, the children play in a very safe and engaging play area, easily visible from the dining area and with out the throbbing head spin we are usually left with after leaving soft play centres. Cafe Neo is a far cry from your local greasy spoon as it offers so much more, somewhere friends can go to eat, relax, use wifi and socialise, somewhere warm and welcoming for a quick lunch break, a place mums can catch up, enjoy a coffee whilst their children happily play (yes! I actually get to finish a hot coffee with out being interrupted and it going cold, parents know what I mean) as a day out, somewhere we can go, where everyone is happy and there's no need to break the bank! Simply perfect!

I visited cafe Neo for the first time just before Christmas after being told about the 'Christmas cob', I went on my own and my first thought was how welcoming and friendly all the staff were. There was a lovely festive atmosphere and it really got me in the Christmas mood. I was served by a lovely girl and was given my tea and asked to sit down and my cob would co e out to me. I wasn't waiting long until my cob came and it was amazing! Like Christmas in a cob, I definitely loved the mash! This will definitely become one of my regular spots when I visit Worksop, thumbs up from me!

Definitely the best place to eat in town. The standard of food and service are always at a high standard, freshly cooked food and efficient service with an extensive range of freshly prepared coffees. I highly recommend.

So so nice.... Child friendly. All food is made fresh and comes to the table piping hot. Everything from burgers to salads anything u could possibly want. Best coffee! Best food! Great staff.... If ur in the area u must go......
