DO NOT BUY YOUR FOOD FROM HERE!! Today was the 4th time I have been here in the last 6 months, every single time there has been an issue with some part of the order. Either, burnt, cold or just inadequate. Today my 2 breakfast wraps were cold, soggy and had paper stuck to them. I took them back and kindly asked for a refund. The owner, with the blonde hair, who is also the cook, is one of the most incredibly rude and unapologetic people I have encountered in my 50 years! She reluctantly refunded one of them, because the other had been cut in half, with the missing half in my colleague's bin! It was apparently my fault it had soggy scrambled eggs causing the problem, as I did not ask for a fried egg instead!!! I was given no alternative upon ordering. I asked why she adds scrambled eggs knowing it creates this problem? Again, no hint of an apology whatsoever, the customer service is non existent. My whole workplace will NEVER order from here again. I selected 1 star because you can't leave a review without selecting it. DISGUSTING experience.

Food arrived later, chicken salad wrap was without a chicken.. Food was not worth time and price.. Not ordering again..

Sausages were a bit sparse in a large bap, didn’t even fill the bread! Extras ordered (hash browns) were intended as a side but for some reason added to the sandwich which meant they weren’t as crispy as we’d have liked.

The large tuna mayo cob didn’t really have much filling. You’d take a bite and could hardly taste it due to the size of the bread cob. You mainly had a mouth full of cob and no filling. Rest of the food delivered was fine

Would have been better if the whole cob was buttered instead of just the inch in the middle , very dry

Placed an order only for it to arrive with missing items to then be told it will be sent out straight away, waiting still for another 45mins and still not received, ring to ask how much longer and they say another 5 mins and it will be on the way, not on all the food should be delivered together, and then they put the phone down on you cause you tell them it doesn't matter and to leave it.

The beef stew was a bit cold but absolutely delicious so well worth it and obviously tried to keep it hot. All other food was red hot and thoroughly enjoyed!

Disgusting service, get abusive phone calls from them just to find the order thrown on my driveway

Cancelled using just eat 10 mins after placing an order and just get a call saying that it’s not happening because it’s out the door already, delivery time is 45 mins- 1 hour not 10 minutes! To then have to run around answering the door in a towel because I was in the shower! As you didn’t tell you poor delivery girl wasting her petrol! Not very environmentally friendly is that…..And to be spoken down to like I’m an idiot is disgusting AVOID AT ALL COSTS

My food was OK but Tracy's lasagne was almost inedible. Burnt around the edge and a smokey taste.

Food was as described but everything that was fried (most of it) tasted like rancid 10 day old oil. The beans and tomato had a metallic taste. Toast and fried bread was soggy and the whole thing arrived lukewarm at best. The eggs looked like they had been thrown at the pan. Won't order again, should have stuck to the usual breakfast place. (Note for restaurant: change your oil more frequently and maybe look into tubs for the beans/tomato so the customer doesn't have to fish out parts of the pizza box before eating)

Good quality produce for low prices. Not a massive breakfast , but a fair size. Quick service, good quality, would recommend.

I had their BLT and it was really nice, the bacon was thick and tasty. It arrived early too and their delivery charge is reasonable. Will definitely order again.

Delivery Took well over an hour , the sausage in my sausage and bacon cob was lovely , but the bacon was awful very dry like it had been warmed up not edible , I threw it away and ate the sausage

It seemed like it took forever for my order to be processed, I’ve had this multiple times with just eat now, and when the food arrived it was stone cold, not sure if it was just eats or gatefordgrills fault. I never have a problem from here usually it’s my fave place but this time it wasn’t upto it’s usual standards. I’d like a refund please

*******CAUTION DO NOT USE******** The food took 1 hour & 20 mins to arrive and was cold and inedible. I contacted them to be told that they would refund me for chips but nothing else. They made out that they couldn't understand why it was cold as the delivery driver came straight to our address... and it is only a 7 mins drive away. AVOID GATEFORD GRILL AT ALL COSTS. WASTE OF MONEY, WASTE OF TIME, WASTE OF EFFORT AND APPALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Dirty cafe avoid undercooked food crap staff arrogant and uninterested dirty seats tabkes floors and ants crawling around

I generally only post a review if I feel others need warning of poor food or service, hence this review! I have been here 4 times in the last 6 months and it is consistently poor. I always feel very unwelcome, staff are rude and they always make me feel like a burden to them. I once asked for a change from mushrooms to black pudding (which i was expecting to pay for) and they just sighed and said they couldn't make any changes to the listed breakfast. I explained i would pay and they said sorry I can't do it! Twice I have had under cooked eggs. They open until 130pm, I arrived at 12.45pm and they said they would have to see if the chef is still cooking this late! 10 minutes later they came through and took my order! This is the worst Cafe for just about every aspect of dining and I go to a lot of Cafe's nationwide with being a trucker. I have no idea how this establishment keeps going. Terrible.

Soggy toast and fried bread , hash browns disgusting looked like they were boiled in old oil , everything cold like last delivery apart from sausages which were Luke warm , even the dog turned her nose up , all ended up in the bin , think I’ll give it a miss in future , not impressed just a waste of money .

Delivered Almost two hrs from ordering , Food was ok but it wasn’t very warm and bread cob was soggy with steam while it was stood .

Food was freezing by the time we got it, opened up the 2 kids meals 4 chicken nuggets and 2 fish fingers (2?!) both with not even a Handful of chips between them. Won’t be ordering again.

The sausage and bacon butty was not very hot just warm despite being wrapped in foil. My bread cob was wet and soggy don’t know how long it was wrapped after cooking . From ordering to delivery it took 1 1/2 hrs a little excessive for a butty even at busy times

It was ok it came cold so had to reheat it up I used to order from here all the time but its always cold or just about warm sorry but I don't understand how your still open when sending cold food you should really fix this been in the food business myself food should never be cold

Ordered it to the wrong address by accident, bloke on the phone was so rude said it would be 20 minutes got there an hour later, delivery driver was rude because I ordered it to the wrong address and said if i do it wromg again they'll not change. Breakfast itself was shocking about 6 pieces of bread eggs burnt and it was cold. Don't worry cause I definitely won't be ordering from here again.

Customer service is absolutely appalling, had the phone put down on me mid sentence. Food is inedible so I’d go else where, by else where I mean out the bin would be better.

Ordered from here before and never had a problem with the food. I ordered today and asked for really well done bacon as when previously ordered well done bacon there was no difference and not well done. Today it came burnt to a crisp, if you pick up the bacon it just crumbles in your hand and just tastes cremated. I rang up the store to sort out this matter to just be spoken down to by a rude woman. We asked for a refund for the order (which consisted of two bacon sandwiches with extra bacon so nothing really but bacon) to be told there is nothing that can be done and that she had to go because other calls were coming through. So instead we asked for just a refund on the extra bacon we had paid for, just for her to say the same thing and put the phone down on me. Nothing but rude the whole way through the conversation, didn’t even seem as though she was bothered about the complaint at all. Yes we had asked for ‘really well done’ bacon but not cremated, there’s a difference between really well done and burnt to a crisp which this woman clearly does not understand.

Ordered a sausage and mushroom cob and bacon, egg and spam cob. Wifey enjoyed the sausage and mushroom cob but I was dissapointed with mine, to be fair I did ask for the bacon well done but there is well done and there's cremated!!! It was like cardboard completely overcooked and ruined. Also the spam was cut wafer thin, literally millimeters thick I could hardly taste it it was that thin. We won't be returning and I wouldn't recommend it.

Ordered months ago was very disappointed didnt even get to eat it was cold they never came go to sort it ignores all messages even though left numerous messages take ya money and run dont want to do much when they get complaints my friend had the same problem .

We had a to wait quite some time for delivery (just over an hour) - we were advised it would be this long, but when it did arrive the food was brilliant, warm and tasty, thank you!

Awful sandwiches and pastries are stale. Will go to the burger van at Wickes in future. Much better sandwiches and better value for money.

Ordered the food at 10 45 been told it will arrive at 11 55 I called in at 12 25 as it was 30min late just to be told that it will be another 45min called in again at 1 20 as it was nearly an hour only got told that the food is on its way didn't bother offering me any discounts free meal or my money back the food arrived at 1 40 good job it was my day off as I usually have to leave for work by then however the food was warm and nice

This is the second time I have ordered from this place, both times I ordered one of their hot butties. I would definitely recommend, it helped wonderfully with my hangover this morning 🍔
