Food was great, unfortunately they didn’t have the ingredients to make the American Watfles so I settled for pancakes instead - which were light and fluffy, topped with Korean fried chicken. My wife had the pork belly Benedict, it was incredible and the eggs were perfect! All seemed to be made in house and fresh. The decor in the place is nice and rustic, it could do with a decorator in to touch/freshen the place up and a good clean as all woodwork was dirty. Overall a great breakfast and would go back, even though it’s a 50 min drive for myself well worth it.

This is our favourite place for breakfast and lunch. Our two boys ( 2 and 5 yrs) love the chocolate banana milkshake and the staff are always so welcoming. My wife is vegetarian and is extremely well catered for. So far I have only tried the cyclist breakfast - there are lots of things on the menu I fancy but this is so good I keep ordering it! Updated review - best ever Sunday lunch today!! Sirloin of beef was amazing!!!

Having been many times, but not recently, we came away disappointed, the food as ever very good but I would say the portions aren’t as big as before. The real let down I feel is that the pantry didn’t have its old rustic charm which it used to have. I also want to say it’s got a little grubby, examples of this were our table had a napkin under a leg to stop it rocking which had obviously been the some time as it was dirty and manky. We were sat near the air conditioner which was dirty to look at. The paint work is tired and the walls are marked in the corner where we were sat. It was raining on arrival and sheltered area outside was gushing water clearly needs repairing. All the blinds were closed for some reason creating a stuffy atmosphere. Overall a I said the food is superb but maybe the room needs refreshing a bit. Service very good.

The Apple Maps opening time was set to open on every day, but for some reason they’re closed on (only) Tuesdays. Drove all the way there (35mins) to see the closed sign on the door. If you run a business like a restaurant, isn’t making sure your opening hours are correct online one of the most important jobs? It would take 2 minutes to update? Haven’t actually eaten there, went on the recommendations of a friend. But if this is the kind of care they show to managing their online presence, I question their care when it comes to all other aspects of their business.

Waited 40 mins to be served and then another 40 mins for the food to come out to find it was cold. My daughter ordered smashed avocado on toast. Came out with one slice of toast which was rock hard and cold , no salad nothing else on the plate , it was so hard she couldn’t eat it. When asked if everything was ok I said not really but no interest as to why, Counters and table hadn’t been wiped down all day with the looks of it Really disappointed as we have been before and it’s been lovely Won’t be going again 😩

Very disappointed. On entering the restaurant there was a smell of frying food lingering in the air and creating an almost smoky atmosphere. We mentioned it several times to the staff who told us the air conditioning was on but hardly running. They propped the main door open but it kept closing so we had to repeat the request several times. Eventually a different member of staff found a decent prop, plus she opened another door which gave a small through draft. But by this time my friends eyes were streaming. The Crispy Enoki Mushrooms were only made “crispy” by the batter around them. The mushrooms inside were tough and stringy. You could not cut them, only shred them and tear bits off. Then eating them they were chewy, in a tough way and tasteless….. which I did pass on in comments to the staff. I still had bits stuck in my teeth later in the day. On a positive note at least I had a nice latte coffee to finish and took home a cake which was very pleasant.

This is a true gem of a place. We are house hunting in the area and have now popped in twice for breakfast. Recieving a warm welcome on both occasions, and they were able to seat us,even though we hadn't booked. My partner and I are both Vegan, so finding somewhere that even offers alternative milk can be trying. This place has a good variety of vegan options, but we opted for the full vegan breakfast, on both visits. It has to be the best vegan breakfast I've eaten in a long while(apart from my own :) ) . It's absolutely delicious and has a nice mix of ingredients, avocado,a sweetcorn salsa, mushrooms , sausage, and a few other tasty morsels. The food is fresh and tasty, you're served straight away, and the food is delivered to your table quickly. They also have a pastry cabinet, with a gorgeous vegan elderflower and blueberry cronut. This place is definitely one we will return to, even if we don't find a house in the area.

We visited Saturday Lunch time, we’ve been so many times previously. This time we were so disappointed, we ordered and waited a good 35-40 minutes for our food and when it did arrive the guy serving it just dumped it down and went. He could see our drinks were empty, could see the bread board needed removing from our starter but left quickly. The lovely lady was basically running round after him, she came straight up to us and asked us if we wanted any more drinks and apologised as she removed the starter board. Cake cabinet as soon as you walk in, had 2 plates of desserts. Not like it used to be. Why bother it looks awfu empty. Where our table was the room a-bit dirty, table was sticky and coffee marks all up the wall. Toilets aren’t the best either. It just feels like everything’s still there but it’s just not as good as before. Feels just a lot like bad management which is sad considering how the experience used to be. Don’t think we’ll be going back anymore.

We booked the pantry in misterton for Sunday lunch. We had been on two previous occasions and were very impressed. This visit was very disappointing as we were told on arrival that Sunday lunch was no longer available but we could choose from the sunday specials. We had hoped for a lovely roast beef dinner but despite the Sunday lunch menu still being on the website it was no longer available. We chose a pork sub roll as an alternative. We were presented with a cold plain white roll with two pieces of pork some stuffing and a few pieces of lettuce. It was very average and didn’t even look appealing. We should have said something to the staff at the time but they were doing their best. Its only on reflection that we have decided to leave a review. We decided to ask if were any desserts. We were invited to look in the cold display which contained 4 Cronuts, 1 bakewell slice and 1 lemon and almond bun. It felt like the place was getting ready to close and it was only 1.45pm. We would suggest that you update your website to reflect what is actually available and make sure that the food provided is well presented and as tasty as we have found it to be on our previous visits.

Went last weekend for breakfast and really enjoyed it. The staff were really friendly, the food was fantastic and atmosphere was great. I had pork belly Benedict and it was brilliant. My other half had the full English (although she felt that she’d chosen the wrong thing once she saw the pancakes at the next table). My only issues were a couple of hygiene related bits. The milk jug for the coffee had chips and cracks in, which were large and obvious… not ideal as it harbours a lot of bacteria, so we decided not to have milk in the coffee. Also, the apple juice bottle came to the table sat inside the cup we were using, which unless all bottles are cleaned, also felt very unhygienic. All this said, would certainly go back.

We had a brownie too which was super yum. Our only negatives is the coffee was OK and the tea was super overpriced, £3.50 for a tea pigs bag is an insane mark up, my local in London charges the same for a huge cast iron pot and loose leaves. Visited Misterton. Looks amazing but the taste just wasn’t there. 10/10 for instagram photos. 3/5 for taste. So disappointed by the shashuka. Looks amazing but tasted like a warmed tin of tomatoes. Could not indentify the njuda sausage or any flavour. The toasted bread was dripping in melted butter which was very disappointed. Food also took a long time to come. We’d finished our first drinks and the place wasn’t full. Another of us had the eggs Benedict with benefits. The bacon was horrendous. Basically smoked fat. See photos! Fruit on plate looks lovely but had obviously been prepared on the plate and just sitting there as looked dry. Pancakes with bacon and maple syrup. Bacon once again was so fatty and maple syrup was the smallest amount ever. Blueberry, banana and coconut smoothie (£5) was quite bland. And not consistent as we ordered 2. All a bit disappointing really but as I said above, the instagram photos look great! P.s. someone please taste that Shashuka it was absolutely tasteless.

Not sure, first visit and heard great things from someone who visits their other location. We went to the one in Brigg. Reserved a table, and glad I did because it was busy, but was placed near the kitchen which had a slightly irritating beep for the chefs timings. Service was good mainly, friendly, but had to ask for water from another staff member, as the first didn't bring it over with the other drinks, and my friend only got to ask for sauce half way through her meal. Food and smoothies looked amazing, but the taste just wasn't there. I had the pork belly Benedict and the pork was very salty, completely missing the list of flavours on the menu, chutney and ginger were mentioned but couldn't taste any of that. My friend had the Korean Chicken burger, and felt it was nothing special for the price, very small garnishes, but enjoyed her smoothie etc. Wouldn't go again, and was disappointed tbh as the menu looked great! :(

A superb venue for those who are meat-eaters and vegans. So much choice it took us forever to decide! In the end, the carnivore opted for the Full English and the vegan went for the superfood salad, both were exceptionally good: the superfood salad was a clever mix of tastes and textures and the Full English was a HUGE plateful of high quality, well cooked produce. Amazing value both! We brought brownie and flapjack home with us and they too were excellent - the flapjack had crunch and was full of flavour whilst the brownie was soft and almost unctuous. The coffee was so good we brought a bag of beans home with us too! The service was superb - nothing was too much trouble and the footie chat livened the meal up even more.

Had an amazing breakfast at The Pantry 8020 this morning. I had the Belly Pork Benedict and my friend had the sweet potato pancakes with creamy garlic mushrooms. Very generous portions. Absolutely delicious. Not particularly cheap but all top quality ingredients and expertly cooked. My poached eggs were perfect !! Would recommend giving The Pantry a go !! You won't be disappointed!!

Far too expensive! The website looks fantastic but once arrived it did not live up to the photographs Extremely high prices for the standard of food and location

Bought 2 hot breakfast sandwiches for takeaway. Absolutely dreadful and unbelievably overpriced. £13.50 for the cheapest white bread and sausages .. one sausage had a bone in.

Hi good evening went there tonight One of the bar staff told me it was a private party we don’t allow travelers and yes I am a member of the travelling community should that make a difference which Was very disrespectful and embarrassing in front of everyone how would you feel in the bar But they will be hearing from my solicitors this behaviour is not acceptable 100% racist thank you

This pub is a tale of two halves. The decoration & ambiance of the pub is lovely, loos are clean and ample parking. The pub was wonderfully dog friendly & the lady behind the bar & taking food orders was wonderful, friendly and vey helpful, the drinks were great and amazingly cheap.....However..... I'm afraid the whole evening was ruined by the food. I ordered the Fillet steak, medium rare @ £25.00 (not expensive), I asked for side salad instead of onion rings, mushrooms & toms. No sauce. What arrived was a very small sirloin (poss rump) steak, 1/2 " thick with a good 1" of unrendered fat down one side and over cooked. Plus a side of pepper sauce I never ordered. I questioned if the order had been taken down wrong or misread but I was assured that the Chef says The steak is definitely fillet! & the sauce is complimentary!..... I am not a butcher but I do know what a Fillet cut looks like !!! This was NOT. I was on a date with my partner so didn't want to complain, or embarrass him, but I feel bad that I allowed him to pay for something I definitely didn't have! I ate the meal which was edible but not what it was meant to be. The couple on the table behind us had a lengthily argument with the chef about his steak, sent one back & refused to pay for the second!! I don't mind if things aren't available or the kitchen is short staffed. I don't care of orders are taken or read wrongly BUT to be LIED to is unforgiveable. If I was there on my own I would not have accepted my meal. That said, my boyfriend's Faggots were lovely.......In short, A lovely pub for a cheap drink.......just don't have high expectations of the food.

Not a bad atmosphere as you walk through the door, although it took a few minutes for them to realise I was there, luckily the TV was on current affairs. Some tables still had dirty plates on them. Ordered a large sandwich and was asked if I wanted extras on, (egg was mentioned but I didn't get any). The sandwich was well worth the money (£4.60) as it was really full. Negatives were: bread was soggy but this was due to everything inside, eg coleslaw, salad cream etc. This also meant the sandwich fell to bits so I had to eat it with fork. They used clingfilm instead of foil/paper to wrap, this added to the mess when it was unwrapped. Big one for me was the lady DID NOT use gloves, I mentioned this and she said that she had just washed her hands, the clothes she was wearing were really dirty which did not fill me with joy. Overall the sandwich filled me up, the staff was kind and helpful but I won't return as I prefer cleanliness above all else.
