So tranquil and wonderful staff.

Have been going into Costa for the last 7years on a Saturday with my daughter the staff are always very friendly and greet you with a smile 😃

Dreadful attitude, aggressive staff member Rosie, challenged me, hearing impaired regarding noise re phone call to a disabled service who needed loud voice Burned a customers hands slopped tea etc water Was told about it asked politely to attend to lady, lady had hearing needs and was shocked and looking after elderly dog Rosie said “She’ll have to wait” Would never ever wish to be served by such a rude, hostile uncouth individual The customer is always right Complaint went in immediately to Mansger, James Basic manners Let someone else have a job Miserable attitude no place for aggression No interpersonal skills Needs serious staff training Needs to find a job preferably not in hospitality more suited to booger, although with that attitude would end up causing more problems Retrain or leave Other staff are beautiful Jane’s, this worker has let your team down Disgusting Lady burned hands seeking legal advice Further to comment above I called in again to Costa this morning before setting off to a meeting I was served by the member of staff Rosie again, who sadly felt the need to tell me that: Quote “ I enjoyed reading your review!” Hostility and passive aggressive manner still exists, some people never learn, sadly the word from the Manager, James , was not taken on board As a result, I have now put my complaint to him in writing today at 1140am. In addition, this review and a copy of the said complaint now two, from yesterdays behaviour manner to the disabled lady with auditory needs who she slipped tea over, told me “ she can wait, when politely pointed out spillages and burns to her underside of hand, said lady is seeking action in her own right re health and safety at work act 1974 I have also forwarded this review from today and yesterday and the aforementioned complaint in writing to James, Manager today I do this for vulnerable people I shall continue to enjoy seeing all the other pleasant respectful professional funny staff at Costa Worksop So Rosie, please learn intimidation surliness and down right rudeness never pays If you are not happy at work seek help and seek help for for rudeness customer care training essential training need Be professional like the rest of your colleagues Ciaron An example of young professional approach James, please address you are losing customers because of her attitude I am not afraid to speak up and will continue to enjoy Costa Worksop with or without Rosie so please take note.

I have been going to Costa for 8 years now and all I can say is the staff are lovely especially Rosie

I go again to a nice place like this with great staff.

My wife and I often call at different Costas, but after this last visit ( and this is Costa in general, not just this branch) the prices have gone up and the portions have shrunk. We had a slice of cake each, that could have been sliced with a razor blade. It was so thin you could almost see through it . When we mentioned it to the staff they said that all the cakes arrive ready sliced. So it is Costa wide

Relatively slow service with few staff. Staff are trying to be helpful but seem to have too many responsibilities. With many alternative cafes nearby, which all seemed busier, this one might struggle. Once Sports Direct closes nothing else near this outlet.

Costa is our favourite coffee shop and we visit every time we’re in town the staff are helpful and friendly and kind and the coffee’s we.buy are spot on thank you

Costa Coffee is too expensive for me. What gets me about this place a few years ago I went into Costa and I asked if they would kindly like a Puppy Can. I was helping my husband who is a member of the RBL. The assistant was happy to take a can. A few hours later my husband got a phone call from the manager requesting that Grant go down and uplift the can from their place. The manager wasn't too happy because I had left a Poppy Can there. For goodness sake it was Remembrance.

Costa is always a fab place to visit any time of the day great coffee and food

Never recieved the order and was charged. The order should not have been accepted if the resaurant was about to close. Tried to call the restaurant the day after but the call does not go through. Have contacted just-eat to resolve this issue.

Expensive! The coffee is consistently good so you know what you are getting. Young lady who served us had an "edge" to her and was looking at her colleagues and not the customer

So awkward:- This was going to be a 5 star review because the drinks and food were the usual high standard that Costa mostly meets. The service was professional and friendly with the counter staff happy to satisfy customer requirements. So far so good. But after our food and drinks we went to the toilet (disabled in this case as my wife is in a wheelchair) and this is where the problems started, there were bits of biscuits on the floor and in the sink - now this a pity but hardly a game changer as the disabled toilet also serves as the baby changing room and a difficult child could easily have thrown a couple of biscuits around and they didn't seem to have been there very long. Unfortunately the hand grab rails were filthy, see photos, and looked to have not been cleaned for months - the floor being consistent with this view. At this point my review was going to be 2 stars. So I took the photos and after we left the toilet I asked to speak to a manager. When he arrived, promptly as it happens, I asked him to look in the disabled loo and tell me what he thought, he did and responded that the biscuit mess was unacceptable and would be dealt with promptly. I then pointed out the state of the grab rails and suggested that they hadn't been cleaned for months. He denied this and explained that the 'dirt' was actually metal growth from the rails growing out and it was not possible to remove it (they had even tried 'Brasso' with no success); and that they were looking for ways to rectify the situation. I had a further close look at the rails finding his explanation difficult to believe, and then took some toilet tissue (hardly sandpaper) and rubbed one of the rails - the 'metal growth' just rubbed off turning to white powder with very little effort. So I told the manager that I couldn't accept his explanation and felt that the state of the room was appalling, I got a kind of a shrug and mutterings under his breath. The result of his response means that I can only give a 1 star review, which I find regrettable but necessary. Hopefully he felt the need to improve the situation after we left, however I probably won't ever know as it's unlikely that we will be in Worksop again in the near future. Amok's wife here:- It was good that I hadn't been a disabled person on my own in there as I could not bring myself to use any of the filthy handrails, so in the small space available - when it has two people, a wheelchair and two bins in there as well, in the small 'cubicle' that is usual for disabled toilets - my husband/carer had to almost be a contortionist in order to help me safely transfer, and to help me with other aspects of my personal care. The dirt also made me feel a bit nauseous in case the hygiene in the kitchen was also not up to scratch. When leaving the café I also noticed that one of their wooden sales units was also covered in dust...

Well placed coffee shop. Friendly staff and they were quick to get down queues. Food was good and toasties were hot. Plenty of seating with more upstairs.

Yes it was good. A bit small on the ground floor but didn't fancy walking up the steep staircase. A couple if tables outside. Staff were helpful and quick. Could not find fault.

Awful seating, very scruffy and run down. Been here twice in past two years and the frappes are terrible just liked ice milk, honestly no idea how it's got okay reviews and it's busy. Will avoid, needs a lot of updating, tlc and if you specialise is coffee maybe do it well?

Recently brought a gingerbread lattè from this store, Was absolutely vile. Didn't have no taste to it. Tasted like stale water. Also was half way filled. I work with coffee so I know what and not to do. Was absolutely not a winner.

Cafe cold to sit in with your drink, employee's school children aged approx 7 & 5 cleaning tables and pushing a brush about the floor not the best of examples to set. Worst Costa Cafe we have experienced.

Sick and tired of asking for extra hot and not getting it. I am going to stop paying silly money for a coffee that lasts less than a minute!!!

Located in a corner position opposite the carpark in the Priory Shopping precinct.This Costa store provides 4 outside tables on the pavement with around 15 tables inside on the ground floor.Theres another 12 tables upstairs which are accessible by a very steep staircase,the room itself is a very quiet area & doesn't have any kind outlook due to having no windows. I found the staff service to be very pleasant on each occasion during my recent visits .I would recommend if your having toast, is to ask them to flip the toast, when you order as you'll find the bread gets toasted only on one side ! Also I have noticed that they don't tend to use the pattern stencil for chocolate sprinkles on cappuccino coffees it's just a willy-nilly inconsistent scatter dusting by hand ,when just a bit of care & attention in the presentation wouldn't go a miss. The ground floor seating area can get quite noisy at times ,god knows why folk need to talk so loud so if its a quiet cuppa your after then that could be hit & miss here unless you sit outside or pop upstairs.The tables were also cleared & cleaned by the.staff as & when required. Your order receipt does give you a code so your able to access the toilets which is good idea to keep the local riff raf at bay from using them. Like all Costa stores payment can be made by cash or card .

Perfect. I love having a sir down outside with a large tea and q gingerbread or muffin after the 1st half if a 20 mile plus bikeride.

No coconut milk No white sugar and had to wait due to them having a large takeaway to be done for delivery need I say more exactly same other day for all of above

Everytime u cum into costa worksop the staff are just stood about talking dirty pots not taken off tables and tables very rarely sanatized n if they do its a dirty looking cloth. Use many differant costas but i have to say this is by far the worst.

Ok the drink was beautiful but I'm not sure how you can charge £2.80 for a large in the machines and £5 for one to take away in store, I got a chocolate and some squirty cream for an extra £2.20 ? That's absolutely ludicrous.

I didn't like the attitude of a staff member here, she also had a bad attitude the time before when I visited, she didn't smile or even say thankyou, won't be goin to the worksop branch again. The hot choc was lovely

Excellent stop for a drink when I was out shopping this afternoon. Fab coffee. Just want to take the time to praise one of the girls on shift who cleared a table of non-paying customers on an outside table so I could sit down out there. It’s very much appreciated as I couldn’t get to a table in time as I was on my own. Brilliant and attentive so thank you!

This afternoon we called to costa worksop 4 a fruit smoothie mango & passion fruit my favourite one as its another hot day i would deffo recommend the smoothies as i Cant remember the correct name of them

I have had problems in the worksop Store along while back me an my mum we left an i didn't enjoy the coffee but the food is nice but very expensive

If you want to be acknowledged as a human being then don’t visit this ignorant coffee house. After being stood at counter for over 10 mins while orders were being readied i gave up. No recognition that i was stood there with 8 other people waiting do you value our money or what , i walked up the road to Greggs where i was welcomed straight away with a delicious coffee at a third of the price. If you want to be ignored or be in the presence of young ignorant pigs then please come here.You will be ignored and smirked at fir at least 15 mins without even placing an order .

First latte for a long time. Although a take away it was pleasant to have a drink and a natter outdoors. Latte a bit on the strong side.

Great service, friendly professional staff and a great range of drinks, the shop itself is mid sized and very spacious with a second sitting area upstairs, it's a very nice and cosy place with it's own little charm.

Been going to worksop costa years but unfortunately i av to say things are not as good. Av my coffee ex hot but not the case on my last 2 visits and the coffe its self as been awful i think they need a shake up and staff are not as friendly as they were. Not impressed

Tried the After eight hot chocolate and is definitely my favourite so far. Did click and collect and order was ready when I arrived. Very impressed.

We have visited this Costa on many occasions, pre corona virus , and always found it to be comfortable and friendly . However, since their return after lockdown they really have gone the extra mile. The staff are great and so well organised . Someone greets you at the door , checks for spare seats and tells you where you can sit . Face coverings are worn by all . In between visits the staff do an amazingly thorough clean before you go to your table . On top of this they are all cheerful and friendly . Well done to the whole team , impressive !
