My wife, 2 children and visiting relatives went to your cafe today. And I was absolutely astounded by the poor service and lack of communication. We arrived at around 10:20 and was seated outside, we had our drinks order taken and breakfast order, but was told the kitchen was quite busy so to expect a slight wait… What we was not told was that the slight wait would turn into not getting our food until gone 11:40. When I got up to ask the young man who was serving how long the breakfast would be, he replied saying they stop serving breakfast at 11:30 not realising we had ordered already he said it shouldn’t be much longer (no apology given for the wait). And even then some of the food was cold, and the bacon my wife had was inedible. Will definitely not be returning

Only visited the cafe. Extensive range of drinks. Nice selection of food on the menu. Very long wait for food (1hr). This is indicated on the menu but still longer than expected for ours at the end of lunch rush and people on a neighbouring table had a similar wait for just soup and a sandwich. The Torworth platter could do with more bread as half a bread roll doesn't go far with pate and three lots of cheese. Was very tasty though. Halloumi burger was very good but fries needed some seasoning.

We only used the restaurant and loved it, the food and atmosphere were excellent particularly the young lady singing, beautiful voice and great choice of songs. We sat outside on the decked area which is where the entertainment took place. This place was chosen because it's equal distance between our son house in the south and our place north, we were not disappointed, we had a great couple of hours, and will definitely call again. Lovely conservatory style cafe though like everywhere it's getting pricey. Added bonus of ladies clothes shop at reasonable prices and a deli part to cafe. Visited again in August. Found shop reorganised. It's more open aspect and I found it more appealing. Still good service and quality.

It's a little deli on the side of a reasonably busy road that has caravan pitches, about 4 fishing lakes, a great little cafe/diner and some clothes, handbags, shoes, etc... Deli offers some great choice of artisan breads, honey and other bits and bobs to tempt your appetite... Not the biggest but worthy of a look and perhaps some lunch.. Caravan site is well laid out, quiet level pitches fully serviced with electricity and water.. At £24 to £28 a night it's worth it...

Wow what a beautiful tea rooms and cafe. We came here for breakfast, the menu offers loads of choice and the food and drinks were all excellent along with the service. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and dog friendly too! Staff were super friendly and attentive. Afterwards we mooched around the gift shop and found some delicious treats in the farm shop. Something for everyone and so much more than just breakfast! The lunch menu was tempting so we will be back soon!

We decided to come and have a look at the campsite before looking at booking for the caravan, the café was very nice clean and the sun was out so we sat outside, the male member of staff was very polite and helpful, We ordered food and beverages , we saw that on the menu that the waiting time could be up to 45 mins in busy times, Our food arrived and was very nice , we finished our food and then managed to catch the member of staff and he came over to remove the used plates, He asked if everything was ok and we replied stating that we was still awaiting our drinks, we told him that we didn't want them now and he headed off to the girls behind the counter making the beverages , we stood in the queue to pay for our meal and the girl who the member of staff talked to about the drinks asked us to come over to another till , we followed her over and she asked for our table number and we told her, we also said that the drinks needed to be removed from the bill as we hadn't received them, she pulled a face and tapped the till screen and then told us the price, we paid the bill and proceeded to ask about the caravan site and how would we look at booking a pitch , to be told don't ask me its all on line! at no point was there any explanation of why we didn't get our drinks and the attitude or the member of site when we asked about the caravan booking was very rude. we cannot fault the food first class but the staff attituded wasn't the best and not even give us an explanation why the drinks didn't arrive ( even if she had said sorry i missed the order as i was busy) we would have understood. we left rather underwhelmed about our visit

This was my second visit to Torworth Grange as I had eaten the most delicious breakfast here a few months ago, so we came back for lunch. We were seated quickly and invited to choose a table, so we opted for one outside with the most incredible view over the water. We both fancied scampi, and I noticed the milk shakes made with ice cream, and I couldn't resist! I felt like a child as it was absolutely delicious 😋 , initially I had chosen bananas, yet when it arrived, it had caramel sauce on it, so I swapped with my BF and drank his strawberry one! Very, very tasty indeed! The only thing I would have added was a piece of actual fruit on the top! Very rich, it was too. When the main course arrived, the plate was full of scampi, a decent portion with some chunky chips and a choice of garden or mushy peas. I chose Garden, and BF had mushy. Both were equally satisfying. Service was prompt from order to table, and prices are reasonable too. Well, he paid, so the prices were excellent 🤣😂😘 We will definitely be back soon...

Booked for 12 for afternoon tea for my mother’s 90th Birthday, service was okay, but got the initial order for teas and coffees wrong. The place is extremely hot on a sunny day which meant by the time we got to the cakes they were melting, the sandwiches were already curling as they arrived, nothing that covering with a damp clean cloth would have prevented. In general it’s a good afternoon tea with quiche sausage rolls and pork pie and an excellent selection of cakes and scones, but they have to do something about the heat, ceiling fans or some air con units would have made it much more comfortable. Beware as well if you ask for additional tea you will be charged!!! Which has never happened anywhere else I’ve been, normally it’s as much tea as you want.

Went here with my friend for breakfast. It was busy and we did expect to wait a while but was surprised at nearly an hour… We ordered the large breakfast, 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausages, hash brown, mushroom, tomato’s, beans, toast and black pudding. I didn’t want black pudding and my friend didn’t want beans, black pudding or mushroom and asked for poached eggs. After the hour, they came out and looked awful to start with and then we were trying to work out what was wrong as they had the wrong things on each plate and the poached egg looked like someone had been sick. The staff acknowledged how horrendous it was and took it away… They had only put on the items for a smaller breakfast, everything was like warm (apart from the toast that was cold, and the poached eggs never came back out… The staff would only knock off 10%! When we argued that they were charging for large breakfasts and items were missing and cold they also took off the two coffees. Then at the till tried to charge full price again. They said the issues were because they were busy and they had new kitchen staff who didn’t know the menu! Absolutely pathetic excuses for a business! Really not impressed. We will not be returning to pay £12.00 for wrong food and cold food. If you have money to waste then this is the place!! Also it is a dog friendly place but they allow dogs to eat from the plates.

Went to restaurant for lunch with a friend. We both ordered lasagne. When it arrived it didn’t look very appetising, a square lump of mainly pasta, very little meat content. It wasn’t very warm and was still chilled in the centre. Waitress was very apologetic and took the meals away, after taking our alternate choice. We were not offered any form of compensation for our disappointment or for having to wait for another meal ( a free coffee or dessert would have been nice). The replacement meals were ok but quite small portions for the money. The menu seems to have changed recently, less choice and more expensive than on previous visits. Staffs were very helpful and polite but overall it was a very disappointing visit.

We really enjoyed our stay at Torworth Grange. Such a lovely place. The cafe and shop facilities are great. Had a super lunch there. Staff really friendly. The pitches offer some privacy with hedges in between. It's lovely to wake up and look out at the fishing lakes. We noted from some other people's posts that they thought the noise from traffic and trains were a distraction, however we didn't think that at all. There is a super play area for the little ones, my grandaughter loved it! There was a super picnic table and benches for caravanners to use on the caravanners lawned area, but one set really isn't enough. The facilities are reasonable, but we felt that one toilet for all caravanners was nowhere near enough, and hygiene could be better. My husband used the shower and thought it was good. Good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Suggestions: 1. An additional wooden picnic table and seating would be good on the caravanners lawned area. 2. An additional toilet would be good 3. The paper hand towels in the toilet were on a box on the floor at the side of the sink, which were getting wet from peoples dripping hands. They should be in a wall mounted dispenser. 4. Approaching the entrance from the North, you could do with signage further back on the main road as its not clearly visible until your basically on top of it. We would definitely use this site again 😃

We booked this site after looking at reviews. Lovely looking site with views of nice lakes! but that for us is where it ended. There 15 pitches with one unisex toilet and one unisex shower.. There is nobody to supervise site when cafe closes and its anything but peaceful with the busy A638 very near and a very busy main train line. We booked on pitchup and where is said what time we would arrive, I put 1pm then somebody rang me to say checking is 2pm and if I wanted to come at 1 I would have to pay £8. Never had that before. Hard standing are very small and have to walk out on muddy grass. Nice size pitches and better grass on grass pitches. All pitches has its own water. And food did look nice in cafe. Never tried it!

From the moment I discovered this place, through a dear friend, I haven’t been able to stop coming! The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Ebony who could not have been more supportive with our son’s dietary needs. We often find it difficult for us all to eat out at lunch with coeliac, dairy intolerance and vegetarians and while the menu does not extensively cater for this, the adaptations and the key ingredients they stock make it worthwhile and a genuine treat (oat milk for hot chocolate, separate fryer for GF chips, good quality GF bread). The salads are also proper salads with plenty of fresh ingredients- in fact everything g ever ordered has been superb. The atmosphere is lovely, decor is calm and quaint, and e large conservatory is light and airy. Honestly can’t recommend this place enough, from tea and cake to delicious lunches, I can’t imagine you being disappointed. Thank you Torworth grange family 🙌 (and sorry again for the challenges we present you!)

The only downside I would say is it’s pricey and not worth the money . I ordered a pancake stack and Two pancakes and two slices of bacon was served for £6.50!! I don’t think 2 pancakes qualify as a stack! My friend ordered the large full English and again the portion size was tiny for almost £8!! I get that the produce is fresh and homemade but I think they really need to look at their portion sizes for the prices they are charging.

Highly recommended 👌.

I hired out there function room July 2024, price was reasonable for what you got, I was able to provide my own food/DJ. As for the so called “staff” half of them did not even work there they were “helping out a friend” so no bar experience at all. Had to ask them to go and buy basic fruit for drinks from Asda as there was none at all. Had to explain what drinks we wanted and what was in them. They were charging us wrong every time we bought a drink, £22 for two Hugo Sprits then £16 for one. When we asked about this they had no explanation. There seemed to be no one in charge of the function, just looked like had no clue what they were doing. The bartender Emily was the one who helped the most (as she was the only one who worked there). Would not recommend to have a function here if you want it run by people who do not know what they are doing.

This was so disappointing. Reasonable price of £6.50 for hot drink and cake. Although the coffee was ok the cake (we had a few of the cakes in our group) were not good quality and begrudgingly paid for them. Also the milkshakes were really poor.

Called in late Sunday morning after long bike ride. Coffee was okay, bacon toastie not so good. Toast was limp / bit soggy from sweating on plate and bacon not really cooked, think it must have been microwaved as under cooked and more boiled than grilled, no real taste to it - disappointing. Always try to use independent cafes but on this occasion should have gone up road to Greggs.
