The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in England

Have visited this place for years and it never disappoints. Serves the best food in Teesside and beyond. We have been to many Michelin Starred restaurants and the quality of the food here is on a par. First class food but with generous portions and without the fuss. Its exceptional value for money.

I have recently torn my ACL so have been a little hesitant to go out a lot because of access issues and generally being uncomfortable. I messaged on Facebook to reserve a table and to check I would be ok on crutches with a knee brace. The staff could not have been more helpful and I was able to come in the side entrance and leave that way. We were given a big table for us and our two dogs. The food was lovely- we both had paninis and a cake each (scone and carrot cake) and we couldn’t fault a thing. As you can tell from the photos, the dogs loved the doggy sausages too. We will be returning, thanks so much :)

We ate here 2 nights in a row when staying at a local caravan park. The staff are lovely and the food is outstanding. Hats off to the chef (Garry I think); he certainly knows his food. Thanks for 2 lovely evenings. First night we paid £40 per couple but the second night we had a lot of wine and desserts so the price went up to £70 per couple. Really good value

Arrived at The Middleton Arms at 6pm and was greeted by James and Mandy(said hello to the chef as we walked past kitchen window) shown to our seats. Ordered drinks at the bar then James came for our order. Fish and chips for me lasagne salad and chips for the birthday boy steak and ale pie for the son fish goujons and chips for granddaughter and sausage chips and peas for grandson. We all really enjoyed our meals and would recommend you to try.

Great beer garden, in the sun for about half of the afternoon

Called in for a beer recently on a hot sunny afternoon. Great friendly service. It was nice to have an iced beer glass on a hot day.

First time visiting and definitely won’t be the last.. Found this place on Facebook and love to try new places. Well it definitely didn’t disappoint.. Went with my friend for lunch. We had booked a table which was all ready when we arrived.. Menu has a great variety. My friend and I both went for the soup and a toastie which was delicious. We also treated ourselves to some delicious cake. Very good sized portions and great value for money. Great find.. Already looking forward to my next visit.

Amazing experience and it felt like home from home. Very hospital and friendly staff. The food was exceptional! I would recommend anyone who hasn’t tried Mauritian food to please do so! My mum originates from Mauritius and I have been multiple times and we both say this is just like experiencing food on the island! It’ll make you want to go!

Lovely country pub, excellent food and friendly service

Really nicely decorated bar with a great chilled vibe.there are plenty of seating area.there was always a variety of different music playing in the background, which gave it a really nice ambience.the toilets are on the ground level. There's a horse shoe style bar straight ahead as you walk in from the street. I would also like to thank the three young ladies who were serving at the bar.they were always very polite and jolly.keep up the good work 👏🏻. Definitely be calling back here next time I'm in Chesterfield.

We were on holiday in the lake district and as we were married in Ulverston we wanted to pay a visit to the town. We liked the look of the frontage of "Poppies" . So decided to call in. My husband ordered a currant scone and I had carrot cake. The cake was just freshly made .I can honestly say I have never eaten a carrot cake tasting as good as this. It was beautiful. Hubby said his scone was lovely too. We ordered two coffees and they were hot and tasty. The staff were very friendly and chatty. A lovely experience.

I came with a friend who unfortunately became unwell not long into the experience menu and she couldn't continue eating (not related to the food which was lovely!). We explained to the team, and they advised that we still had to pay for the experience and the cocktail flight for her, whilst I continued with mine. I can understand paying for the food as I'm sure a lot had been pre-prepared and ordered in etc but to continue to charge for the drinks instead of charging us for the two cocktails that had been served so far did leave a sour taste in our mouths. I will say the food was brilliant and the servers were lovely. The brisket was my favourite, the duck my least favourite dish. I would still definitely recommend the restaurant but I did think the customer service might be a bit more accommodating.

We have tried Moomaid of Zennor ice cream before and we were not impressed but today at Porthtowan there was no other ice cream on offer so we thought we would try a different flavour. We both had espresso martini. We expected it to taste of coffee at least but it was pretty flavourless and not at all creamy. That was the last time will will buy Moomaid of Zennor.
