Such a unique little cafe with lovely owners The lady owner is a mind of information and her partner is the cook Watch out the portions are huge

First time visit here after meaning to try it out. We went for a soup and chilli 'pasty' each with a coffee. The soup was thick, dahl style and nice tasting. Chilli pasty could have upped the flavours and spice, a little bland. I'd also name it a calzone as it was like thin pizza dough than pastry. The coffee was superb, easily the best in darwen. Certainly recommended from me.

Genna set up a fantastic spread for us for my 50th. We went on a long walk and she had prepared all food for 25 for our return. Everyone thought the food looked and tasted fantastic! Genna could not have been more helpful or accommodating. THANK YOU. Would definitely recommend.

Outdoor seating. Amazing food, staff are very polite & helpful. Would definitely recommend. Terrace quite busy, but plenty of available seating & close to amenities for Widnes shoppers.

Noticed this little hidden tap room before lockdown so was glad to say last home it a visit. Small garden area next to the Guildhall catches the sun and a great selection of beers. Since Inspire and Drapers have closed this is what is lacking. I had a Vendett and a local Triumph 1987, both very nice.Friendly staff and I will definitely be coming back.

I've been coming since 2020. Loved it and since the refurb things have only got better and better. The Owners are lovely, the bar is great especially with the new outdoor area. The beer is top notch and I'm able to bring my dog which means I can take him for a walk and treat myself to a great beer

Always on the look out for a decent Pie & Mash and this café did not disappoint. Great food, friendly service and lovely place. Pies were Moorish. I'm coming back for more.

Thirteen (adults) of us were staying near Kington and we wanted to book an evening meal together for a birthday. None of the places we rang could help so a breakfast was suggested. We travelled to Kington 'on spec' and found the Regency. It's a small place and a few locals were already sat inside. We asked if there would be a chance later in the morning and a lady came outside to find what we were after. She said she would fit us in and when we mentioned the locals her reply was "We'll manage". Fortunately, the locals were great and agreed to sit together. Two gentlemen even sat outside to allow us in. We couldn't have been made more welcome. We each had a terrific breakfast for a very reasonable price. Would I recommend The Regency? You bet.

My daughter with milk and egg allergies was desperate for some vegan ice cream on our long trek up Steep Hill. Unfortunately our timing was just out and we missed the ice cream place where we had intended to go by 3 minutes! We happened to walk by this place and when asked were told they had 2 types of vegan sorbet. Now my daughter gets pretty frustrated at being fobbed off by the offer of sorbet in place of ice cream (the latter containing milk/cream of plant based variety and the former being frozen squished fruit with no milk/cream) so was initially reluctant to try it. We are SO glad she changed her mind. In all honesty, the sorbet was absolutely delicious and better than any ice cream we have ever tasted! It was creamy AND fruity (we had a scoop of the lime and a scoop of the strawberry). She loved every mouthful. We will definitely be buying again when we visit Lincoln in the future. Thank you for making a little girl with allergies incredibly happy 🥰

Needed somewhere to wait whilst my car was having some work done and I couldn’t have picked a nicer or friendlier cafe. I had the mid sized breakfast which was delicious - as were the 2 lattes I had with it. The free Wi-Fi was a bonus and meant I could do some work whilst I waited. Would highly recommend the Simply Cafe.

Had afternoon tea on the 12 November with a friend & it was lovely will definitely be ordering another one The lady was very helpful from taking my order to delivery

I visited here for the first time yesterday and really enjoyed it. They have really beautiful gardens and a tea room which are tucked away from the road so it feels very peaceful and relaxing to be there. Very welcoming staff and good food at reasonable prices. Thank you. ❤️
