Parkminster Tea Rooms in Thanet

I visited here for the first time yesterday and really enjoyed it. They have really beautiful gardens and a tea room which are tucked away from the road so it feels very peaceful and relaxing to be there. Very welcoming staff and good food at reasonable prices. Thank you. ❤️

Lovely setting in the grounds of Minster Abbey. Lovely garden, particularly in Summer. Staff are friendly and helpful. Cakes are highly recommended!

Beautiful peaceful surroundings. Great tea and coffee and home made cakes and scones. Lovely people and everyone welcomed. There's a gallery too. So happy to have been told about this oasis. Highly recommended!

The tea room is run by Looking Ahead, who also have a base in KIng Street Margate, Tuesday-Saturday. The group helps young adults with learning difficulties with projects such as cake making, pottery, woodwork etc and their cakes are on sale here along with toasted sandwiches etc. We spent a lovely hour sitting in the gardens, which they also maintain,and would certainly go back again. Their Covid precautions are very well done.

Beautiful Wildlife and Dog Friendly They don't take card so bring your change ... and a camera, I had to go back for mine, the gardens are beautiful and staff were very friendly, customers too actually.

Best hot chocolate in Thanet. Turner Gallery is second best.. Worst is Pegwell Bay cafe then ASDA and Caterbury Bell.

Lovely grounds, peaceful atmosphere. Cream tea absolutely delicious and amazingly generous. Staff are friendly and helpful. Lovely selection of shops on site selling handmade gifts, t-shirts and delicious home made produce. Plants from the abbey grounds are also for sale. Wonderful day out.

Stumbled upon this after we made a wrong turn while going to Broadstairs , had a lovely cream tea with an enormous pot of tea . Garden starting to go over as its late summer , but there were plenty of butterflies and nice place to go on a warm day . We may make this detour more often .

Lovely Tea Gardens adjacent Minster Abbey. Lots of seating inside and out with the added bonus of very picturesque gardens complete with duck pond. There is a children's play area and assorted toys, workshops, and a free exhibition of Minster Abbey. Serves teas and coffee, cakes and other light refreshments, Perfect place to stop off before taking the free guided tour of the Abbey next door. There is even a car park.

Lovely Tea Shop run by Looking Ahead students. Great scones and cake. Friendly Staff and lovely surroundings

nice pot of tea and scones, cream, butter, jam, served by dissabled people nice to see them working in comunity, cafe rather drab abd very cold in winter, nice place to visit in summer
