Eats 'n' Beats in Thanet

Friendly bar with tasty food. I've not had a full meal here but the bar snacks were excellent. I'm a big fan of the cocktails!

Went to a live music Friday evening, and it was very special. Musicians brilliant - and noone talked over them, so that it felt really intimate, with great acoustics. Plenty of time for chatting in the breaks, and there was a great atmosphere. The food was Soooo good, freshly cooked, fresh ingredients ....yes, we loved the evening and will be back!

We enjoyed our meal in the quiet upstairs area, and got good service, despite the downstairs being booked out for a private party, with food. Vegetarians are well catered for. We loved the old Ravensgate Arms, and miss some of the features, but the food offer is now much better and consistent, and they still have beers like Gadds. The staff are very involved, and the plans for future events look interesting.

Lovely ambience in this newly refurbished cafe/bar (restaurant coming soon we were told). We had a light lunch if mushrooms in truffle oil on toast and a chowder. We didn't have a cocktail this time but they looked delicious on another table.

Exploring Ramsgate and stumbled across this delightful arty retreat! Warm welcome, excellent wine, flat white and comfortable seating. Then the food... tempura aubergine, padrons and succulent pork belly (all with acutrimonts but you'll need to visit to find out). Great ambiance, music and art works. Got a feeling I'll be a regular and looking forward to checking out the outside space. Enjoy - cheers n see you there :-)

Very impressed with menu, service and a lovely, friendly atmosphere. Great variety of tapas. Very inventive dishes, amazing what came out of the tiny kitchen ! Very recommended.

Really enjoyed it here, has a lovely courtyard and the Thursday evening wine tasting was a great night.

A charming little eatery on the edge of the developing Addington Street scene... the artwork alone is reason enough to pay a visit, although the hand picked selection of interesting and offbeat wines is another... the stunning outdoor courtyard is a must if the sun is shining... Eats n Beats is not to be missed, trust me...

The best place to eat in Ramsgate. This is not an exaggeration, we love to eat lots of what Ramsgate has to offer, but this is effortlessly the best. The tapas is phenomenal. You literally say “oh wow” after trying every dish. Bruce is a phenomenal chef. Meredith is amazing, so warm and welcoming, and Keith’s margaritas are to die for. Dog friendly, kid friendly, perfectly curated entertainment. It’s the best.

The food was lovely and make sure you get Meredith to make you one of her amazing cocktails. Let her choose if you are feeling adventurous. Great company, great venue.

Always a warm welcome. A cosy spot with an outdoor space that is a suntrap. Food is delicious, Bruce is a fantastic chef and Meredith is a wonderful host. Make sure you try Keith's margaritas! We will be back again soon

Only just left this place but couldn’t resist reviewing straight away, what a fabulous find!! Lovely atmosphere inside and out in the gorgeous garden, relaxed vibe and fantastic food. Service was impeccable and the owners a delight. Can’t fault it at all and will definitely be back! Highly recommended and very dog friendly.

Very slow to serve our table, even serving others who arrived after us. Such a shame because it’s a gorgeous cafe, but won’t be going back.

Great to see this place open again, amazing atmosphere, really friendly staff. The sixth star goes to the big friendly dog who was absolutely adorable and made everyone feel so welcome!

Fantastic venue. A lovely welcome and friendly staff. Delicious drinks (they make a fab Margarita!) and excellent service. Was lucky enough to see Josh Savage play on his tour. The intimacy and acoustics watching a live performance like this is pretty magical here. Highly recommended!

Really nice quaint place good coffee and tea and light bites and good for evenings as well with good selection of gin and vodka.

I love this cafe. I go there for my well being group. We sat out the back enjoying the sun.

Never fails to please. Our go to choice for a coffee, absolutely amazing vegan almond croissants. Good for a lunch bite with lovely homemade food and an evening chill-out with a stonking margareta or a decent glass of wine. And superb live entertainment most Friday and Saturday nights. All delivered with warmth by the most lovely people. A gem of a place - love it.

Nice place, good, friendly service. Visited for the first time last Friday, but left after the singer finished the first half of his set, due to having to keep an eye on the very large, very lively dog that kept bumping into the table. It never kept still. We had to keep grabbing our drinks to save them from it's swishing tail - all the owners did was smile! As I was sitting near to where a bowl of water had been placed, I was also getting wet feet every time the dog had a drink. The place is just too small for a dog that size and although I love dogs, it became very annoying. It spoilt the evening, as we were otherwise enjoying the atmosphere and the singer. Surely if dogs are allowed, then perhaps there should be a polite notice about keeping them under control.
