Really nice and clean, lovely staff and great tasting food

First time using this establishment, boxing day opening travelled about 6 miles finding a cafe open. BREAKFAST,, the breakfast was very nice, and for the price was very good... I do a rating on sausages from all my breakfast stops.. 5 out of 10 for Aroma sausages....

Average food...but to be fair not Expensive

Lovely place to eat. Had a delicious cheese omelette and a mega breakfast. The Turkish salad dressing was very nice, Very friendly atmosphere and exceptional value. We throughly enjoyed our meal, and recommend this place to eat.

Lovely fresh tasting food cooked to perfection. The service is the best margate, as is the cleanliness. The menu is massive, the prices can't be beat, and the list of home cooked meals is fabulous, good-sized tables, and actual comfy seats (unlike most other places round margate) all well spaced. If you fancy a 'proper' cafe experience, you simply must try Cafe Aroma 👌 👏 👍 😍

After trying nearly every cafe in Margate, this has to be our favorite. Great friendly staff, very nice food and a healthy portion size.

Visited Thu-05-Jan-23. Friendly staff, always chatty. Make you feel welcome. Prompt service, good quality of food, generous helping of chips. Prices are very reasonable indeed, about the best in Thanet.

This is the cafe/ restaurant that is the best place in Cliftonville to eat. The welcome is warm and friendly. All the food sent out by the chef is top quality. It has become my place to eat after a walk. Hope all is good with family.

I arrived with my son and two young grandchildren for a fairly swift meal as we were travelling to meet other family for my 60th birthday party. It was busy but we hoped we may get served and eat within the hour. We ordered and waited and waited and waited. In the meantime many people were being served and my grandchildren were anxiously getting more hungry and upset. Eventually after 1 hour I asked if our uncomplicated fry up meals were on the way as we had very little time to eat as we had to travell to my party. The waitress virtually threw our cutlery on the table and it was another 35 minutes before we received our meal which we virtually had to ram down our throats . It was the worst most stressful meal I can ever remember and I'm sure the chef forgot about us as newer customers seemed to be getting fed! Our quick visit ended up taking 1 hour and 45 minutes! Consequently I was late for my own 60th birthday party! Very upsetting and I feel it ruined my day 😢

Came here with the family, only because everywhere else seemed to be closed, but it is a little gem. The service was really lovely, and the home cooked food - particularly the lasagne was excellent. Amazing value for money, and somewhere we'll definitely visit again.

What an experience! We had a reservation Saturday at 7:45 PM for 4. We sat on the sidewalk. Server came and took our orders at 8:15 PM. At 9:00 PM we hadn't even been served our appetizers! The waiter kept coming and asked if we had been served -- NO! We left at 9:15 PM with still NO SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The other couples on the sidewalk were also without food - everyone complaining. Don't imagine that this place will be around long!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good food, good price, good people. It may not be a place for special occasions but it is a place for every day occasions.

Passable, cafe' Kassan over the road is more cafe' to me though!, better choices of brekkies too, was nice to have toast done with uncut loaf at aroma's

Always good quality fresh food that's always well prepared and presented. There isn't any anywhere in Northdown Road that is as clean, and is such good value for money.

Came in here to meet a friend with my partner. We had a Bacon and Egg Sandwich,it was tasty and the bread was nice. A tea and a coffee,both acceptable quality.The prices were quite reasonable,and the service was good and friendly. his place appears to be under new ownership,and we found them friendly and helpful.

An absolutely brilliant place to eat as a family or alone! Fantastic staff that set the atmosphere. Kid friendly and everyone is made to feel so welcome. The owner makes an effort to talk to everyone and makes it feel like we are all family. Best cafe in thanet by far!

Well what can I say a hidden gem. The breakfast me and my partner had on a visit to this area. Has to be the best breakfast we have ever had all freshly cooked to order. Which shows as bacon cooked just how we like it. Also the eggs had a runny yolk perfect. We will now use this cafe on our visit we had 3 day stay and every day food to a high standard. And the services was in every way welcoming lovely staff and great food see you again soon.

Roast pork dinner was tasty and worth the money

This cafe cannot be beaten for good hearty food. We visited twice in a five-day stay and all meals were very tasty with big portions. The roast beef dinner was amazing with about five different vegetables. The owners were very accommodating too as we arrived just before they were due to close but they stayed open for us which was very much appreciated.

Amazing food and fantastic service from friendly staff;, I would definitely recommend this cafe for families, child friendly, great choice of different foods do recommend dinners and they do a fantastic jacket potato, super clean one of the cleanest cafes I've visited for a long time . This place is value for money easy parking and perfect for disabled. Definitely one to visit, Would I visit again defo 10/10 Could not find any wrong with it ,you could even eat your dinner from the toilets that's how clean it is just go there once and you will see what I mean. The food and service here is very good. The full English breakfast is standard cafe fare, but well done, and a very reasonable price. Happy to come in here anytime.

This is an independent cafe serving generous portions of standard English fare. The All-in-One breakfast is £4-95 including coffee or tea, and on your big plate you have sausage, bacon, black pudding, mushrooms, tomato, hashbrown, chips and beans. and a couple of slices of buttered toast on a side plate. The roasts come with fresh carrots, cabbage, cauliflower and brocolli, as well as roasties and a yorkshire for £5.15. Lots of other main meals and breakfasts available. A coffee is just £1.10. The proprietors are welcoming, and the cafe is always clean. If you want fancy cakes or mushed-up avocado there are other places nearby for that - at Aroma you'll get plenty to eat and not empty the wallet.

I went here with my wife earlier this month for a meal. The girl who severed us was really nice. She was very helpful and curious. The cafe was clean and tidy. The meals were really big for the low price and very well cooked. see photos of our two meals. We will defiantly be eating here again. This cafe deserves a rating of 10, but it only goes up to 5. They need some more reviews by the look of it. I just can't recommend the cafe enough. Please give it a try. You won't regret it. The opening time are: Monday - Saturday: 7:30am - 5:30pm Sunday..................: 8am - 4pm
