Handsome but sorry service and atmosphere left a bit to be desired. At the entrance we stroked 2 dogs & locals absolutely ignored us. We said to barman "Hi, how are you?" And he shrugged rather than answer. Lovely furniture and down step area felt super chilled.

Nice little local pub. Bar staff good. Don’t sell regular beer such as Stella / fosters. But a good selection of wine. Can feel a bit stood out with the locals if you’re sensitive. But if like me, you don’t give a xxxx and make the most of it and enjoy. Not tried the food.

Reopened a year ago and transformed - I love this pub . . . it does exactly what it should, welcoming hosts, good selection of beers, a guest ale, substantial gin shelf (as there should be) several seating "zones" inside, outside, courtyard and sunny seats out front. The new owners have transformed this place bringing it up to spec. Perfect spot to round off a day at the seaside.

Met some friends here for a drink and was sceptical as, although I knew it had been taken over by new owners, I had not had a great experience here a couple years ago before the takeover. I eat my words though, the refurbishment the new owners have done is beautiful and the cleanliness of the place, the bar service and the general atmoshpere is excellent. Warm, friendly, clean, inclusive, dog-friendly and great beer!

Beautiful little boozer with a great selection of kentish beers (alongside the usual pub offerings). Even had gluten free on tap. Barman was super friendly and there was a lovely 'local' vibe. Lots of space inside (bar gets crowded but plenty of seating elsewhere), we managed to park up our little one's buggy with no issues. Also dog friendly 👍🏽. Stylish decor, inviting atmosphere and great drinks - difficult not to like the charm of this place. Will be heading back as soon as we can. Now hosting blues nights and bottle clubs last Thursday the month

Am local, and couldn’t stand what a waste this pub was under the previous owners!! Finally some fresh blood last year and the place has completely transformed. Exposed brick and floorboards, new and quirky plush furniture, original art and a basically complete transformation with an injection of friendly new owners who can’t do enough for you. A good selection of beers and wines and special cocktails. no food at the moment but you will definitely receive a warm welcome. Boho vibes, friendly, spacious and reasonably priced. Whilst this was once a pub to be avoided, it is now a great place to visit with friendly, welcoming service. Thanks Kat and Joe! Kylie 😁

Someone else has said this 'What a difference'. Well it’s true. I last came here about four years ago. It was a very different pub. It was full then, but with a specific sort of client. It has been under new ownership since early this year. What a difference. Out with the old decoration and furniture. In with lovely furniture and the decoration is superb. Really high quality. The bar has been replaced. It’s great. Staff are so important. Ben was behind the bar, what a terrific barman he is. Very easy to talk to, a great advert for the pub. All in all, a really nice pub now.

A wonderfully old pub, that was probably there when Ramsgate was just a village. This pub used to suffer from a bland interior, that was completely out of character with the pub. But no the place has been tidied up inside and the interior now looks as complementary and wonderful as the old exterior of the property. It gives it a really nice cosy feeling. I totally recommend this pub now.

We were new to the area and were looking for a local pub. The Honeysuckle Inn had only been reopened for three days when we first visited and we were given a very warm welcome by the landlords. Having read several bad (historical) reviews we were skeptical, but we were very pleasantly surprised. Having visited several times since, Joe & Kat have created a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with good beer, an extensive selection of gins and friendly conversation. I can’t recommend it enough.

I had been thinking of visiting the Honeysuckle Inn for months, so it was especially sweet to cross the threshold at last, early in the evening of a sunny spring day. The building is not as small as it looks in the photographs, and it has a commanding presence in the little enclave of houses where it stands, about 10 minutes' walk from Dumpton Park railway station (downhill). The pub has a beautiful ceiling, textured wallpaper painted over with multiple layers of gloss paint to create a mirror-like finish. It has widely-spaced motifs of four-petalled flowers (rock roses or poppies) and old man's beard. The music--a succession of classic oldies--was great, and I did not at first realise that it was coming from a vinyl jukebox in the corner. The music was rather loud, but it did not impede the conversation and banter of the loyal customers. The customers were friendly and delightful. There is some low-key half-timbering. The carpet looks new. The walls are covered with interesting reading matter. It is clear that the landlord and landlady have plenty of ingenious ideas to attract the punters. A sign above an internal doorway reads, "Beware of the wife". Judging by the profile of the doorway, the walls of the building must be incredibly thick.I found the Honeysuckle Inn to be a lovely place to relax after a day on the Kent coast--and somewhere that I would like to revisit.

If you want the best cooked English breakfasts in Cliftonville this and Cafe Kussan are the best. Cafe Kussan has slightly larger portions and a more welcoming atmosphere. However the service was always polite and friendly. Food quality is a notch higher here they use tiger bread for their toast and of particular note if you want higher quality coffee come here (their machine is excellent for Americano's). Both are well cooked not greasy and priced similarly. I normally alternate between both Cafes.
