The Mulberry Tree has such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, a very lovely team of staff and cooks an incredible Sunday Roast!

Pet friendly, our dog loved this place, great food, we had burgers (dip was absolutely amazing) and cider. Stuff is really nice, helpful and just lovely - thank you!

There was hardly any beer! Out of Guinness! No ales. No IPA.

After years of landlady's and landlord's trying at the moment this is a new venture that will be an amazing place but everyone needs to give it a few months before you see the improvements!

We had the yummiest roast dinner atThe Mulberry Tree. The pork was insanely good & our friend had the the vegetarian roast, said it was delicious too. Such good value & great selection of veggies. Friendly staff and lovely pub.

Not a bad place to go with basic clientel but a decent smoking area if you're a smoker like myself .

Supposedly they “serve food” but we came on a Sunday lunchtime and they said they didn’t serve food! Felt very misled.

Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and with a warm open fire to add to the ambiance it's a must place to enjoy a drink or two. Kids will love the garden area and dog friendly as well. One if the best pubs in Thanet. Highly recommended

Attended a wake there and, although the pub 8s not that big, we had plenty of room. Staff were pleasant and welcoming.

A ‘proper boozer’, not modernised just well maintained; my type of pub. The beer garden is an eclectic gem, complete with a black cab and caravan! A friendly landlord and warm welcome. Cyril the Basset Hound, the landlord’s dog, also deserves a special mention.

They had only bottled ale (Doom bar) when i went in but in the heat even that was welcome! The garden area is well laid out given covid. Needs a bin handy to get rid of the blue tissue after sanitising..

Had Sunday roast, it was served on cold plates which was a shame. There was not a lot of meat. The food is a concession to the pub so it almost run independently. Only ok for the price.

Just came back from an amazing Sunday roast. In fact I'd go as far as to say the best roast I've ever had, and I'm a roast snob. Amazing selection of carefully seasoned plentiful veg, succulent meat and a home made vegan option. Massive portions. Absolute bargain for £10 a head! Real atmosphere, friendly staff. Will be back!

We booked as a family of 4,we had 4 roast beef two if which was children roasts And then 3 pudding.The food was very nice and the price as reasonable in whole a very nice lunch. Only thing that lets this place down is the lack of proper food tables and chairs but apart from that overall I give you 4 stats. Give them a try

I was coming back from shell grotto and decided to have a paint of cold beer. This pub was on the way . Beer was very nice so was the lady behind the bar . The pub has a great vibe , nice selection of food and things to do to enjoy the time . It is clean place, nice toilet and really great people . Outside you have tables you can sit and enjoy your beer having a ciggie .

A great pub run by two new & enthusiastic landlords. I’m hoping for more a few more ales. It is one of my favourite pubs in Margate now. Friendly & warm staff.

I'd heared bad things about this pub so thought I'd find out what it was like myself. I went on a Saturday afternoon and was met by a smiling polite staff member behind the bar and a couple of locals that looked a bit dishevelled but they were all polite and chatty and a young father playing pool with his children very friendly. A roaring fire. Overall great pub, great company and I will return with the wife.

This pub has always been friendly and sold some decent beer but pubs nowadays have to do a lot more then just sale a pint and unfortunately customers sales diminished and sadly suffered the same fate as a lot of pubs. Pros: So it now has a new landlord and and has now started selling food and it seems that you can hold events there so if you have one it may be worth checking out, they are painting the front up so it shoud look nice and fresh. Cons: if not done yet it needs a new carpet, more events to attract the customers, the play area needs updating and fenced off from the car park and the separation from pavement for the seating area out front. I have every faith the landlord will make this grand pub come alive again. Oh lastly, get a website up and running, it will do your pub justice ☺

Good fun evening, the new Landlords birthday party, DJ and Karaoke, 4 people had dogs with them, very sociable.

It is an enormous shame that this amazing pub has not only closed but is being completely demolished. Since the government stopped smoking in pubs and alcohol got cheaper in the supermarkets fewer people go to pubs now. This has meant many having to close their doors for good. My son went to school with a Thorncroft descendant. They saw this coming and sold or closed some of their pubs while the going was good.
