Fantastic homemade Curry this evening beside a lovely open fire staff and service was 10/10 I had a chicken tikka my partner had a beef balti both came with pilau rice, coriander naan bread, poppudom, mango chutney,kachumber Indian salad and a Raita dip For only £7.50 will certainly be returning for more Curry Wednesdays 10/10!

We Arrived a bit late but the staff couldn't be more welcoming and helpful. The standard of food just seems to get better. Very well priced for the quality and portions sizes.

Lovely staff in this place and always made to feel very welcome...would highly recommend giving this place a visit as it is definitely a gem of a place in margate.

A extremely good place to dine with such good friendly staff and entertainment, all at extremely good value for money. A must for the family. Under new management too :)

We had a table booked for 7pm. We arrived, and the bar staff told us to take a seat. We did. Then a very drunk woman came and asked us what we were doing. We stated that we were booked in for food. Her response was "good luck with that"...Apparently our booking didn't exist. She did then offer to make something from leftovers. To be honest, we didn't trust her with turning on any appliances, let alone producing any edible food. She then drunkenly foisted the menus on us in case we wanted to return at a later date. To be honest, any menu with pictures is not the place I want to eat.

When we arrived, after getting a drink were told "we would be lucky" to get food as stopped serving at 6pm. A drunk member of staff offered to do us a favour by cooking leftovers.

Great british family pub, great friendly staff, very welcome they made us feel, we asked to take our 8 week old granddaughter in and they were very kind, the lady's behind the bar were super nice, highly recommend great pub.

I have been here a few times , The roast dinners are amazing, just like my mum use to do . But the ploughman's is just out of this world , the price is even better

Cheap food and drinks with a great pub atmosphere and friendly staff. Outdoor tables too. The first time I went I had the breakfast and this time the Pie, Mash and Liquor. (Liquor is a savoury gravy with parsley) Both were yummy.

Upon the recommendation of friends, I recently visited this establishment with the intention of enjoying a meal. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet expectations. The beverages, including both beer and soda, lacked carbonation, contributing to an overall disappointing start. The ambiance of the venue was peculiar and not particularly welcoming. The service staff exhibited a level of unfriendliness that dissuaded us from ordering food, a decision further reinforced by the discomfort caused by certain regular patrons. This discomfort extended to an incident where a patron hastened our use of the facilities, which was quite disconcerting. Ultimately, we opted to limit our visit to a few drinks, yet even this was marred by being asked to vacate our table due to not dining. The culmination of these experiences leads me to conclude that the service and atmosphere are subpar. Regrettably, I am unable to endorse this establishment and do not foresee a return visit

I would describe their food as edible but rip off. Ordered chilli nachos and felt like a bunch of canned stuff put together, they even managed to burn nachos. I ordered ONE of it and they charged me for TWO. scam.

First time there and it was decent, friendly staff, good pool table, enjoyed playing on it! It i was a local i would go back every week!

Pet friendly, our dog loved this place, great food, we had burgers (dip was absolutely amazing) and cider. Stuff is really nice, helpful and just lovely - thank you!

There was hardly any beer! Out of Guinness! No ales. No IPA.

After years of landlady's and landlord's trying at the moment this is a new venture that will be an amazing place but everyone needs to give it a few months before you see the improvements!

We had the yummiest roast dinner atThe Mulberry Tree. The pork was insanely good & our friend had the the vegetarian roast, said it was delicious too. Such good value & great selection of veggies. Friendly staff and lovely pub.

Not a bad place to go with basic clientel but a decent smoking area if you're a smoker like myself .

Supposedly they “serve food” but we came on a Sunday lunchtime and they said they didn’t serve food! Felt very misled.

Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and with a warm open fire to add to the ambiance it's a must place to enjoy a drink or two. Kids will love the garden area and dog friendly as well. One if the best pubs in Thanet. Highly recommended

Attended a wake there and, although the pub 8s not that big, we had plenty of room. Staff were pleasant and welcoming.

A ‘proper boozer’, not modernised just well maintained; my type of pub. The beer garden is an eclectic gem, complete with a black cab and caravan! A friendly landlord and warm welcome. Cyril the Basset Hound, the landlord’s dog, also deserves a special mention.

They had only bottled ale (Doom bar) when i went in but in the heat even that was welcome! The garden area is well laid out given covid. Needs a bin handy to get rid of the blue tissue after sanitising..

Had Sunday roast, it was served on cold plates which was a shame. There was not a lot of meat. The food is a concession to the pub so it almost run independently. Only ok for the price.

Just came back from an amazing Sunday roast. In fact I'd go as far as to say the best roast I've ever had, and I'm a roast snob. Amazing selection of carefully seasoned plentiful veg, succulent meat and a home made vegan option. Massive portions. Absolute bargain for £10 a head! Real atmosphere, friendly staff. Will be back!

We booked as a family of 4,we had 4 roast beef two if which was children roasts And then 3 pudding.The food was very nice and the price as reasonable in whole a very nice lunch. Only thing that lets this place down is the lack of proper food tables and chairs but apart from that overall I give you 4 stats. Give them a try

I was coming back from shell grotto and decided to have a paint of cold beer. This pub was on the way . Beer was very nice so was the lady behind the bar . The pub has a great vibe , nice selection of food and things to do to enjoy the time . It is clean place, nice toilet and really great people . Outside you have tables you can sit and enjoy your beer having a ciggie .
