Till this day I never had a grilled fish burger . I must emphasis that it's million times better than those fried fish burgers and by far a great burger experience
Excellent cafe in the heart of Liverpool. Great vicinity with walking distance to many attractions - Central Library, Museum, Liverpool Lime Street stations, Royal Liverpool Hospital, Liverpool Uni etc
What impressed me most? Cosy environment. Soothing music. Most importantly, very affordable price. I can hardly recall a place that would offer a MEDIUM size Americano for a price <£3. They even give a complementary sweet to rinse off the coffee after-taste.
Overall awesome place to chill & hangout. Will revisit if time permits
This restaurant is a hidden gem! It serves delicious food which is made freshly on-site. There is a nice range of food on the menu and it is very good value. The owner is very friendly and polite. It is also family friendly - has high chairs, a changing table and a ramp for easy access. I highly recommend.
Fantastic cafe. top quality food by a super friendly owner. breakfasts here have become a must do for bluebell railway staff working at East Grinstead and more than likely you'll see us in there around 9am.
I adore chilli on chips.
I spend every day not breakfasting at the zac shack, wishing I was breakfasting at the zac shack.
We had my uncle’s wake here and we all thought it was a beautiful venue. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The catering they provided was absolutely spot on. On an emotional day it was the perfect place to come together and celebrate my uncle’s life. I highly recommend The Barn
Excellent food and great service. Local family run business and the burgers are spectacular! Thoroughly enjoyed everything I had, will almost certainly be returning.
El horario de apertura es;
Lunes a jueves, 9 am a 11 pm.
Viernes a domingo, 9 am a 1 am.
We stumbled upon this little place whilst wandering round Ambleside and it was absolutely amazing! The food was delicious, great value for money and the lady who served us was so lovely :)
Arrived for a very late lunch at 3, and happened upon this gem. The lady was so friendly that my five year old asked if he could come again the next day, while the grazing platter and cannoli were fought over by our family. Yum!
First night on our trip away so hunted for a bite to eat, opted for fresh kitchen due to reviews and dispite not many resent I would strongly recommend and Altho we never got our pot of guacamole and coriander it was still a feast to say the least.
These are large portions of exceptional quality food.
Friendly people with local knowledge.
The atmosphere was chilled and fairly quite. The menu quality ha a variety amazing options to choose for example the latte was £3.20. We had exceptional service from Euan and Iona! The hygiene was 10 out of 10 cleaning service state of the art. The prices are reasonable and not to expensive compared to the other cafes. Accessible wheel chairs is very good they can manage to get in and out to go through a magical a garden to chill out and have amazing time with their drinks! overall very outstanding service and definitely come back and we will look forward to see you again soon.
This was the first time we had visited The Merchant House and was very pleasantly surprised. From the moment we stepped through the door we were made to feel very welcome and comfortable. The owner/chef/bar tender created 2 delicious cocktails for us. We didn't have time to try one of the extremely tempting meals this time but have booked to come in again next weekend.
Highly recommend trying - you will not be disappointed.
Lovely roasts with plenty of extra vegetables and cauliflower cheese.
I had gorgeous hake and a huge cheese board.
The staff easily coped with one of our number being very late... and some of our group choosing a starter for dessert 🤷
Splendid ales too.
What an absolute gem this is, poached egg on sourdough was perfect! just what was needed after the #sueryderboltonabbeyrun, Hubby jealous for the bread as doesnt come with sausage sandwich🤣. Cakes gorgeous, service fab, especially the singing in the kitchen! Will be back next year...if not before Thankyou
