Zac's Shack in Mid Sussex

Delightful little cafe attached to the church. Very friendly volunteers serving up a wide variety of freshly prepared light meals including home made cakes. Easy parking. Good coffee. Just two improvements needed - a few cushions for the hard chairs, and could try to open on more than 2 days a week

We wanted to say a HUGE thank you, to Jamie, Krysia, Nikky, Steph, Sarah, Gill and the whole team for making our wedding the best day ever! From the moment we chose Pangdean we felt relaxed and nothing was too much trouble. We had so much fun, and our guests are still raving about how great the food and staff were and how stunning the venue looked! I recently had the pleasure of visiting this cafe and it was a great experience worth sharing! I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere making it a great place to relax and enjoy my meal. The menu offered a variety of breakfast options, I tried their breakfast and avocado toast, and it was absolutely phenomenal—perfectly cooked and generous quantity! The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making sure every guest felt welcome. You can see them taking the time to chat around with their regular or non regular customers so nice to see! I highly recommend it for anyone in search of a delicious breakfast and great customer experience. I’ll definitely be returning soon!

As I vegan, I never expect to be able to eat anything special when I’m not in my home town of go to comforts.. but I was so blown away by their vegan rainbow sandwich! (Can’t remember it official name!) It was so beautifully presented and in abundance, it was such a treat! One of the best bites I’ve had in ages. Thank you! Left so happy !
