Excellent food and great service. Local family run business and the burgers are spectacular! Thoroughly enjoyed everything I had, will almost certainly be returning.

Visited this evening..absolutely fabulous food Excellent portions Had carlin pea vegan burger..tastiest plant based burger I've had ...just the right amount of seasoning .. Delicious salt and pepper chips I'm not vegan but veggie so indulged in the biggest portion if Sticky toffee pudding and vanilla ice cream..again Delicious This little restaurant is a real bonus to the Town Relaxed friendly atmosphere..Good prices and massive portions ..a must if you looking to eat in Padiham in the evening... Licensed bar good prices ..

Stopped off on our way home from a holiday to have a meal with family, and The Block didn’t disappoint, too quality steaks , friendly staff, and a relaxed atmosphere, would highly recommend

My daughter, a vegetarian, surprisingly booked the Block whose menu is dominated by red meat steaks and bugers. All food including the veggie option was excellent. The sweet chilly beef starter stood out. The blackened slender brocolli was an original choice of vegetable Staff very good and pleasure to see dishes assembled in view of diners. There is great enthusiasm in the kitchen and pride in a simple but well thought through menu. Throughly recommended.

A new bistro which had the misfortune to open a week before the pandemic regs A casual continental vibe typical of a quick bite in Portugal A real friendly proprietor and super helpful staff An Open kitchen Which I always like to see and I heard the waitress giving my feedback to the chef which was a great touch Friday night is steak night well worth the trip for a casual night out Currently unlicensed but bargain booze is across the street and just take your own ! Strongly recommended for non pretentious steak lovers Meat! Food! Eat !
