The Crafty Giraffe Food Shack in South Lakeland

We stumbled upon this little place whilst wandering round Ambleside and it was absolutely amazing! The food was delicious, great value for money and the lady who served us was so lovely :)

I enjoyed a delicious Cumberland sausage and fired egg sandwich and a cup off tea for £3.50 sit-in gin the sunshine outside this excellent addition to the Ambleside takeaway scene. The lunch options all look interesting

Stopped at the crafty giraffe food shack last night and we glad we did! I opted for the katsu curry fries and my wife the prawn tacos! Easily the best food we have had in a long time! Definitely recommend

Stopped by for breakfast and some traybakes before getting out on to the hills. The rolls were great value for money and the traybakes were the perfect snack for the climb. Definitely recommend!

Fab choice of menu for a little place, we highly recommend the sliders and the tiffin is the best I've ever tasted. Hopefully we'll be back in the Lakes soon so that we can return for seconds. Definitely worth a visit!

I have been visiting the lakes for several years now and stumbled across this little beauty, which has only recently opened. I opted for the Cluckin’ Awesome’ sliders and my partner had the ‘Jack in the box’. We both agreed that the food was excellent and reasonably priced, there food is fresh and cooked to order - and to top it all they use homemade French fries! Would highly recommend.

Lovely quirky takeaway opposite the putting green which also has outside seating, bought our sandwiches before going for a walk everything is homemade highly recommend the Buffalo Chicken baguette and the Tiffin, yummy !!

Quick and easy to get great food. Delicious food that you can pre order over Whatsapp. Definitely try the ham and lentil soup. Thank you Giraffes
