The Inkpot Micropub in Newark and Sherwood

Went last Saturday at 1pm and didn't come out till 6. What a fantastic place. Great atmosphere and the locals were brilliant.

Superb micro brewery, brilliant beer selection, outdoor or indoor seating, and a huge gin selection. Highly recommend!

This is a real micropub for serious afficionados. Very small but with a wonderful welcome from a somewhat eccentric host. Not open Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday although it was on New Year's Eve. You are always guaranteed a seection of very interesting ales which change all the time. Never seen the same selection twice. Always on my agenda for a trip to Rainworth.

I visited The Inkpot during the school summer holidays. As a teacher, and contrary to popular belief, we do have some work to do... I enjoyed a really pleasant afternoon sat, drinking Tap Estrella and working away undisturbed. A really nice, well-ran pub where there is nothing but a welcoming atmosphere. Really enjoyed and will come back. I don't normally review....This place deserved it.

We visit The Inkpot regularly and love it there. The atmosphere is great and they always have a good selection of beers, which regularly changes. There are loads of non-beer options too, many different gins and wines to choose from and bar snacks available. We love it!

Great atmos, great ales! Don't want to recommend it too much, cos we might not a seat next time we go! Deserve to be a massive success!
