Short notice catering for an event, fabulous food, fresh ingredients, generous portions and competitive price, will definitely use again.

Best cafe in Nottingham, food is fresh and always cooked to perfection. Me and my family love this place, they cater to all food allergies. This is Nottinghams little hidden gem i would highly recommend.

Nothing is too much trouble , lovely food and atmosphere. Even sat outside still under cover is dog friendly blankets available and a heater . Lovely staff love going for lunch

What a lovely find. Our food was all freshly cooked for us and was very tasty. The locally sourced sausages were of exceptional quality and the service was friendly and efficient. So much more on offer. We will be back to try one of their specials. Can't wait. P.S. lots of choice of cakes to have with your coffee. All looked delicious.

This was our first visit and we’re not disappointed. The food was well served and tasted delicious. The staff were very friendly. The surroundings were clean and inviting. Unfortunately there was not room after a hearty toasty to sample the amazing cakes that were on display. We will put that right paying another visit for afternoon tea,

Went for a drop in lunch. There were no free tables but they managed to find us a shared table which was great. I had the pulled pork and veg Yorkshire pudding wrap and the good lady had a lasagna. The Yorkshire wrap was ENORMOUS and very tasty. The lasagna was also very tasty. Maybe not the cheapest but certainly will be visiting again. Very friendly and welcoming,

Absolutely first class support by Jo-hanna during the recent floods in the village. Drinks and food provided free for volunteers and those flooded.

First impressions were a rude and unkempt gentleman in the shop. We went through to the back and the cafe was disappointing. There was someone clearing tables using a bucket and the plastic tablecloths were unclean. The coffee was poor and yet the same price as a decent cappuccino elsewhere. Did not feel I wanted to eat there so drank my coffee and left. Will not return. Presume this frequented by locals who wish to stay local.

One of the best Full English breakfasts I've had, and so reasonably priced. Wife had three vegan option, although she isn't vegan and also agreed. Well done.

Lovely, cosy cafe with friendly, helpful staff. All day breakfast was fab and a good price too. Shame it was served with tinned tomatoes, fresh, grilled is always my preference. Will go again, the sausage rolls looked amazing!

Always good home cooked food...love the banter between Gary and the girls !! Visit 2 or 3 times a week and it's always spot on. I'd advise booking a table in the colder months as sitting outside can be a bit nippy...but equally in the summer outside is a real treat

Much attention has been paid to the decoration to create a relaxed and enjoyable feeling. I particularly liked an old stepladder with foliage draped down the steps. All staff were friendly and attentive without being pushy. The egg-on-toast was excellent with delicious white bread. Well done Jo-Hanna and the staff.

Dropped in with my Dad on Sunday for a cuppa but ended up having a breakfast each as well. The food was excellent all made from local tasty ingredients. The service was lovely and super friendly. Could not fault it and will defiantly be returning. It was a pleasure to spend our time and money at this establishment. So if you’re in the area give it a try you will not be disappointed. 5 stars all round Guys… thankyou

Came here for a spontaneous lunch asked for ham , egg and chips , I was surprised when it arrived at how big the portion was. Everything was freshly cooked and hot . The chips are simply gorgeous

Nice little cafe/diner run with ambition and determination. Polite staff who even though are very busy still find the time to check you are being served and everything is OK. Not cheap but the price is reflected in the quality of ingredients... No cash and carry sausages here thank you, lovely staff produce and overall experience. Thank you.

We met our old schoolfriend Maggie at this lovely quirky cafe on Lowdham Main street,the weather was sunny & warm so we sat outside with our lunch which was delicious. Everything homemade & served efficiently by the friendly staff & proprietor, they happily provided wine glasses for our wine bought from the nearby local shop as they haven't a licence yet for alcohol. We had a good time & can highly recommend Jo-hanna's, thank you all.

Always looking for new eateries round our way for Lunch and hadn't tried Jo-Hannahs so thought we'd give it a go. Glad we did - my partner had the bacon and stilton quiche which was lovely, I just had cheesey chips so I could fit in a piece of the gluten free blueberry frangipane - highly recommended ! I've tried lots of the local gluten free cake options and this was up there with the best, so light and not stodgy like a lot of frangipans, my compliments to the baker ! The service was very friendly and light touch, and a happy hour was spent in their shady courtyard. A lovely lunch - many thanks (will be back....)

Visited for breakfast and didn't disappoint as always. Had full English to myself and was tasty and always a winner. The omelette is deliciously large and yummy and eggs Benedict was tasty and devoured far too quick... Definitely recommend for food any time of the day but would book as can get busy !!

We diverted to the village on the way North as we wanted a coffee and had not seen anywhere for miles. We were immediately welcomed at the cafe by the young and attentive staff. The premises had a relaxed "village meeting place" feel to it....

I ordered 2 takeaway teas for mother's Day and I picked them up .great value and alot inside the box . Look forward to go there once out of lockdown . I've now been twice since lockdown very friendly staff and lovely food , especially the cakes. I ordered 2 more takeaway teas again for mother's Day 2023 . brilliant value for £17 each,loads in them .

Saturday morning breakfast with a group of friends. Went here after finding our intended eatery wasn't opening until 10.00am. Although we hadn't booked we were accommodated in the cabin. Food, and service, were excellent. Photo is of Full Monty breakfast 😁. All agreed this will be our new meeting place.

10/10 service every time. I come in most days to get a couple breakfast cobs for my and my dad and it’s usually Gary, Tracy or Caitlin who serve me and they’re exceptionally lovely and helpful. A real warm, friendly bunch. And the food lives up to this standard of course.

A relatively small (one of everything) English breakfast is a bit too expensive at £7.50 and the staff got both my food and drink order wrong. Having said that, the place was fairly busy on a Saturday morning, so they must be doing something right.

Had a superb lunch today with the family, Gary and the team absolutely fantastic, couldn't do enough for us, mick and i chose the steak pie chips and peas on Gary's recommendations, the ladies had omelette, and a beef chilli, also cake to take home, excellent stuff guys

We visit this cafe regulary, probably on average twice a week. Have never had anything to complain about. The staff are without exception friendly, professional and hard-working. The food is excellent and you never have to wait too long.

We have used this cafe numerous times as a destination for our club ride. Food is always excellent and served fast. Owner is always chatty and on this occasion provided zipties to enable us to complete a temporary repair to complete our ride. Always a pleasure to visit this cafe.

invited for Sunday afternoon tea, to be honest I had no idea that this place existed even though it is the centre of Lowdham. Everything was very traditional from tea in proper teapots to the hand cut sandwiches. Everything was spot on can't fault it...
