Plough New Ollerton in Newark and Sherwood

I recently visited the plough and was served by a lovely lady called Cassie. She was so friendly and polite and made us feel very welcome. The atmosphere was great and we had a brilliant night. Will definitely be back. Great pub and great service.

I come in most weeks and becca is always there and a nice person to speak to while she is collecting glasses thanks so much.

Had a great time good music played some pool, good quality table. Kylie was a great barmaid lovely and polite, great atmosphere and company would come again. :)

Wow wow wow. What a pub, have never left a place so happy amazing atmosphere, drinks and most of all customer service I was served by a brilliant lass named Kylie who accommodated our group so well, she was so friendly and helpful and we couldn't thank her enough will definitely be back!

In the plough quite often as it's my local. Always have fantastic customer service from all staff in particularly Kylie, she's always smiling and happy bringing good vibes to the atmosphere. Great place to go if you just fancy a game of pool or to throw some darts while having a few pint after work to unwind. Some wonderful entertainment in the evenings at weekends if you fancy getting out and letting your hair down. Thanks to all the staff and management for always making me feel welcome.

Went in for a few pints bar was great nice and friendly atmosphere staff were great kylie knew what she was doing great knowledge of the drinks being served definitely come again

I don’t visit The Plough very often, but every time I do, I’m always greeted by the same young woman, Kylie. She is consistently friendly, welcoming, and provides excellent service, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. The Plough has a lovely, cosy atmosphere, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a drink with friends or family. Whether you're looking for a quiet catch-up or a casual night out, it’s a great spot. I’ll definitely be returning more often and would highly recommend it to others!

The Plough has changed so much since Josh & Jess have been there, I love going there and the atmosphere is lovely and friendly.

The service by Isaac was bang on he was very polite made my night he should be appreciated a lot on how he treats all the costumers the hospitality was amazing all the jokes he made was great honestly he makes the pub a better place

Came in the snow to get warm a lovely girl called jess served me what a beautiful polite young lady! Very chatty bubbly happy barmaid, and the pub wad beautiful and warm and the beer priced well and cold thankyou so much will definitely visit again

Bar staff busy chatting or on phone, every table had empty glasses on, and I had to wait to be served whilst they finished talking, then I was served a drink in a plastic glass because all the glass one's were on empty table's,,... Only one of the bar staff was busy, shocking. !!!!!!!! Had 1 drink then left.

Have visited this pub before for drinks and decided to take the family for food as it always looked good. We had a Lovely family evening and great atmosphere in the pub ..Had delicious food with good fast efficient service . All staff were very pleasant but Chelsey Went above and with excellent customer service skills . Would recommend for drinks and food .

I went into the plough ollerton and was served by Jess I have never met such a polite lady she was so helpful she gave me water for my dog as dogs are welcome there, spoke to my children and was so kind to them, I have never been to a pub that was so welcoming to customers will definitely go back soon

Thursday free Jukebox makes for a good time. pool darts bandit and beer, what more do you need. Jess behind the bar was super friendly and cheerful.

Punk rock night was great- do more events like it! Great addition to the midweek wet Wednesday sesh! Beer is priced ok and tastes amazing! I would highly recommend this place- and have done to my friends and family! Josh and Jessey great landlords!

I recently started working at the plough and firstly I was very welcomed by every member of staff, they are all super friendly, fun and helpful. The atmosphere behind the bar is a breath of fresh air, it's like working with family. The pub is always full of laughter and everyone seems to really enjoy there nights out at the plough. Well done team for making the plough an amazing, fun and safe place for all to attend. I can't wait to be apart of the ploughs amazing future!

This is my local pub for a reason. Fantastic pwners and great staff, who always go out their way to make you feel welcome. Brilliant atmosphere for England games in the tournaments and other football games too. Always looking to have events on for entertainment

The atmosphere is very cold and uncomfortable only had the one drink and went as it was so unpleasant I went to another pub in the next village and was actually quite lovely and it’s better than the plough would love to know how the plough keeps its staff honestly as a customer the environment was disgusting imagine how it is on the staff

Been going here since 18years of age now 35, had some great times over the years however the current landlord/lady are the best by a mile, they have made the plough an excellent welcoming place to go great bar staff very clean and most importantly a fantastic pint. Keep up the great work

Great pub in ollerton - got much better recently with new management. Good beer prices and efficient service especially by Nikki (not sure of spelling). Recommended.

Let’s start with the table service it was very very poor, me and my friends first time didn’t know where to order or even if a waiter was going to serve us. THE FOOD, Yorkshire puddings broke into 20 peices as I stuck my fork into it, the turkey was very dry, carrots might as well been raw on my plate. TO BE HONEST the thing I enjoyed most was my cold bottle of water that was better than this place DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND. Ps My friend did enjoy the gammon tho

First visit in a while, went to watch the live band on. Pub atmosphere was great, busy and just right. Red Lane(the band) was amazing. Let down of the visit was the service at the bar. One person on the bar all night, hearing the landlord and partner had gone out for a meal for the evening was really unfair on the bar staff member Kirsty. Queue times of 20 minutes for a drink on a planned event evening is quite poor leadership and management. Well done to Kirsty for such a positive attitude towards the job, and hope she got her well earned drink I bought her. Kirsty was fantastic and really set up to fail with lack of support. Kirsty was an asset to the business but really let down by management.

Had a good night on Saturday the band was good Kirsty the bar staff was great very efficient and always had a smile was quick serving even though it was very busy xx

I feel it has come on leaps and bounds since the new owners have taken over .Brilliant night out, fairly price drinks and food , Good amosphere overall with some very friendly staff. Nice and clean inside and out , Shout out to josh who couldn't of done a better Job taking care of us remembering our orders , gave it a personal touch. We will return soon

Went here with friends on Saturday. Not many in. Used to be packed years ago.ive not been for 20+years. Had Elvis tribute on in the lounge,£5 each for a ticket . He sounded good but didn't even put a costume on till his last set! No music on in the other bar! Very disappointed ☹️
