Wendy's Community Cafe & Juice Bar in Wiltshire

Wendy's is such a delightful place! We parked in the car park and met old friends for coffee here. A delightful walk along the canal to Little Bedwyn, round through Chisbury, and back to Wendy's for a delicious lunch. The menu is extensive, the food's delicious, and the staff very friendly and welcoming despite being so busy. We managed to resist Wendy's fresh-baked cakes, but they looked sublime. We couldn't have asked for more. Great Bedwyn is fortunate indeed!

Despite being rushed off their feet by groups of Sunday morning cyclists, bikers and hikers, this lively little cafe located in the former bowls club house, tucked away across a small recreation ground in the middle of the pretty village, provides delicious food, coffee, juices etc., served with efficiency and a smile by the friendly staff. Everything a good cafe should be, rightly popular. There is a small car park but you may need to use Google maps to find it! Will definitely visit again when walking in this area.

We used this marvellous cafe on the West Wilts VMCC run last Thursday. Great place . Wonderful food and decor. A must if you’re in the area .

What a great little place in the heart of the community. Went here on the recommendation of a local when we asked if there was anywhwere to get a coffee. We had just completed a testing 24 mile off road cycle ride and needed some refreshment , so seeing the range of juice drinks and coffee was just the ticket. Very friendly staff and quirky decor but if the food is as good as others have said, I think a return visit is on the cards.

Fabulous, quirky cafe with excellent wholesome food and great service. Very child friendly and a fab asset in this lovely Wiltshire village. If you are walking, cycling or just passing through, this is a great spot to stop for lunch or just a coffee and a slice of delicious cake. Highly recommended.

Absolutely super. The food is all homemade and delicious, with a surprisingly big menu for a little village including meaty and veggie hot main meals. The kid’s sandwich was perfectly prepared with big slices of proper cheese and suitably cut crudités. The adult’s panini was great too. Also, the kids area is clearly well looked after - makes such a nice change considering how often it’s a neglected corner of broken stuff. My daughter was gutted to leave! Super spot for families, cyclists, walkers, and solo cafe goers alike.

Cycling along Sustrans route 4 we were very happy to stop at Wendy’s Cafe. There was plenty choice for a tasty lunch. The staff were friendly and efficient providing a great service. I loved the collection of bespoke cushions, especially the octopus.

Fabulous cake and drinks, lovely staff. The hot food looked amazing too. In a nice location with outdoor seating on a former bowling green.

I came for lunch with my brother to Wendy’s cafe. Had a lovely lunch. Service was amazing!! Shout out to Hannah for the quality service. And food was lovely as per too!! My mum who lives locally recommended we popped to this cafe as the kids may like it....that was the understatement of the year. What an absolutely amazingly beautiful little gem of a place. A lovingly repurposed bowls club (I am guessing), with a funky fun relaxing vibe. The food was lovely, filling, and fresh, and served with a smile. My daughter told me this was the best "restaurant" I have ever taken her to. I was torn when writing this review as I want it to remain a hidden gem, but at the same time want people to support this small business to grow and grow !!! I will be back....and back, and back.

Not much else to say really. This place is amazing. It was honestly the best roast you will get. The food here is always the best, certainly in this area.

My Wife stumbled across Wendy’s Café & Juice Bar whilst walking the village for somewhere to eat for an evening meal. She provisionally booked a table and was offered one outside given the evening’s weather was excellent. When we arrived later, a special effort had been made to set a table with a candle, flowers & blankets. I had a smoothie which was very nice. For the main course I ordered the vegan curry platter and my Wife ordered the chicken curry. Both meals were excellent; the best we’d had all week. We ordered desserts and coffees, which again were excellent. Wendy’s Café will certainly take some beating and I highly recommend it. You can take your own alcohol and pay a small charge.

Nice location and quirky cafe. It wasn't busy when we arrived, just 2 other tables in use. However the 2 sandwiches we ordered took an hour to arrive, they were nice but not really worth the wait.
