Heard good reports about the breakfast, absolutely awful, under cooked cheap sausage, bacon never seen a pan, no butter on toast, asked waitress, took another 10mins to bring me fresh buttered toast, brought white, but I ordered brown. No hand towel or wipes in bathroom, asked waitress she said they font have them. Rude owner who replied to a review I made on Google. Yes u do get shiity reviews when ya food and service are crap!!!

First time we've tried No.58 Long Eaton and had booked for its Mexican taster menu last Sat. They gave us a great culinary experience using a range of dishes with fabulous flavours and colours, for only £20pp. They have a range of beers, lagers, wine and a few spirits although availability is dependent on the day. Despite thoroughly enjoying the evening we felt truly sorry for the owners when we learnt that with only 25+ seats available and bookings taken for 20….10 people failed to turn up!!! Despite calling all three tables none of them bothered to answer or give a reason for their behaviour. The owners will have to start charging large deposits or take full payment up front. You can’t sustain a business buying ingredients and preparing meals in advance, when only 50% of the bookings bother to turn up. We will return, hopefully for your next Italian evening which was well received on Facebook.

Service from waitress was efficient, the food looked great but toast was already ‘buttered’ although I dispute that it was butter! Presentation was great, food was ‘ok’ on finishing eating I could plainly see 2 large cracks across the plate which I feel is unacceptable to serve food on. When mentioning this to the waitress she stated oh I will tell the chef! That was the end of that no apology or golly we need to throw out that plate out I’m so sorry. Finally my clothes and hair smelt of cooking 🤥 Unfortunately I would not return due to the above.

Visited today for brunch before we visited the Clifford Spa. Ideally situated for that. Nice little bistro - food excellent- we had eggs Benedict with bacon and shared a yogurt and granola pot. Decent latte too. Others near us had the pancake stacks which looked great too. Pleasant service too so very pleased with our visit and would recommend.

Excellent breakfast on Saturday morning. We had one Vegetarian breakfast and a Large Breakfast, both very good and especially liked that sausages etc were grilled rather than fried. All very tasty good quality ingredients, particularly enjoyed the black pudding. We booked in advance due to reduced capacity due to COVID, and it was nice and lively inside. Excellent value for the big portions you get.

Visited today July 22nd on the spur of the moment and was very impressed. The service was really good and I’m sure if masks weren’t being worn it was all with a smile! Didn’t have to wait long for our food and it was really nice and we’ll presented and very reasonably priced.All COVID rules were being adhered to even when we asked to move inside the table and chairs we left were all wiped down. Apologies for that as we never gave it a thought what it would entail.Will definitely return and would thoroughly recommend!

We ordered Friday night dinner online the day before, plenty of time slots to choose from & reasonably priced food. It arrived on time & well wrapped up so it was still hot. Decent portions, we had 2 naan breads & 2 chips between 2 adults & 1 child. Can’t wait to try breakfast next time or pop in for a takeaway lunch.

Me and the wife had breakfast here today friday 13th March 2020. Was very busy but managed to get a table ok. Great varied menu. Food was brilliant only critiscm was wife didnt get the extra egg that we requested, we didnt want to make a fuss over it but it did show on receipt when we checked it at home. Food was brilliant, very tasty and filling. Service was good, price is very good. long may it continue at the new venue

Sausages so nice you could eat a couple more, thick cut bread for toast that looks epic smothered in proper butter and black pudding in big slabs. Lovely!

Great sandwiches and service. Was in Long Eaton for the day and my son and I walked by here and went in for lunchtime - great place and great food.

This establishment does a very nice breakfast along with a wide range of things on the menu, the prices are good and it has a fab seating area.

Visited back in October for a birthday brunch with 2 friends. Food was lovely and the portions were good. Staff were friendly and the atmosphere was great. Only downside is clothes were left smelling a little greasy, but will defo come back.

Went for breakfast 2 adults and 1 child. Best breakfast i had so far in Long Eaton! Generous portions and very nicely presented on a wooden board. Friendly service nice atmosphere and our little one enjoyed the chocolate muffin!

Went along on a recommend. Ordered 1 x large & 1 x small breakfast. Service both friendly & courteous. Quality of ingredients excellent, BUT oh dear!! Spoiled by cold plates! Such a shame.could not finish the food served.

We called in here for a late breakfast whilst passing. Really welcoming hosts and the breakfasts are lovely, good sized helping and all really well cooked. Lovely cup of tea as well!! Highly recommended.

Visited with my 2 year old son for breakfasts on a Saturday morning. The owners were very welcoming and family friendly. The food was fantastic (and plentiful!) We will be back!

Visited here today Wednesday 27th Feb 2019 with a friend for lunch.

Had heard about this place on our local facebook page. It had really good reviews so thought we would give it a try.

I’ve had the breakfast here a few times and I can tell you now, it’s worth the money. Every penny. Try it, you will not be sorry. Even my best mate who eats like a bloody bird wolfed down a big plate full. Gorgeous!!

Food quality is great,decent portion sizes and value for money ,cafe always clean and the staff are friendly Very easy online ordering system. Would recommend A **

This super little cafe has 'eat-in' and 'take away' options. We visited there for a Saturday breakfast and were delighted with the decor, seating, friendly welcome and, of course, excellent food. My son had the 58 Breakfast Special which was massive plate of all the old favourites and topped off with some thick Tiger Bread toast. I had a more modest scrambled egg on a soft white bun. It doesn't have to be The Ritz to get a 5* rating. All it needs is to be so good I want to come back again and again and No. 58 is just such a place.
