Cakes + Co Stamford in South Kesteven

Friendly and efficient service. The Basque cheesecake was huge, light, fresh and delicious. My husband had a sausage roll which he describes as wholesome, and not all pastry like some he’s had. Both coffees were great too. I would thoroughly recommend Cakes and Co.

The best for Cake and Coffee in town. Friendly service and the most sublime Nutella Crunch Slice! Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre, a hidden gem. Sadly, only open on Fri, Sat and Sunday!

To visit Cakes & Co is like experiencing a celebration in your mouth and in your soul. In every bite, you can taste the amount of love that has gone into each cake, brownie or the best buns around, the one and only CinABUN!! If you visit in December, the Christmas CinABUN’s are literally like christmas in every bite. Great coffee, great service and always friendly and welcoming. We visit for those occasions that require something a bit special and we make sure they are often because it’s so good! You’ll find it hidden off the Main Street in Stamford, in a peacful courtyard which is it’s own sun trap, dotted with colour from the planters. Cakes & Co are open three days a week which makes it that much more special. If you ever find yourself in Stamford on a weekend, take the time to go visit, it’s an experience you won’t forget.

This little cafe is tucked away off the main street in Stamford in a little courtyard but it’s worth searching out. The coffee is great… but the cakes are out of this world! We had cinnamon rolls which were not only huge but utterly utterly delicious! Very reasonably priced too!

Omg I love this place, it has to be the best coffee in town, but the coffee is not the highlight, it’s the cakes. The Cinabun was just delicious, and so was the lemon and blueberry sponge. We were so impressed the we ordered a celebration cake for a family birthday. We will definitely be back.

This place is absolutely amazing, I could not recommend it enough! They have thought of all the little details, including the use of biodegradable cups!! The cinnabun is worth travelling for and if you need a celebration cake, you are missing out if you don’t get it from here!! The staff were so lovely too, will definitely be returning again and again!!!

Cakes are overpriced, bland, and nothing to write home about; staff are incredibly rude, unprofessional and dismissive. Also very disappointing is the use of single-use cups!

Three friends and I were on a short stop in Stamford and wanted a coffee. We noticed a board advertising this place. It was down an alley and had seating outside that was full. Inside was tiny and we sat at a thin bench and ordered our coffee. Three of us had a latte and one cappuccino. The latte was £3.50, not cheap, and it came in a cardboard cup. Small and not very hot. I asked if they had a proper cup. No. I was asked on ordering if I wanted sugar, I said yes, two please. I was not allowed two put my own in, it came already in. This was not worth the money. I asked where the toilet was and was directed to the public toilets, when I asked why, apparently theirs is out of order. It is actually against the law to serve food and drinks without a toilet and washing facilities.

Trust me when I say these Cinabuns are the best you will every have... and with the cream cheese frosting, they are simply perfect! We will definitely be back! Super lovely and friendly service every time. Perfect for a little "treat yo' self" cake or special occasions. I picked up several cake slices for Mother's Day and the lemon cake and chocolate brownie were firm favourites... Would recommend to everyone 💕

Honestly, the most heavenly cakes you will ever eat! From the minute you walk in you are greeted with a huge smile and made to feel like a friend. The hardest part is picking just one treat and I normally end up bringing four treats home. Apparently I’m not to tell my boyfriend that I love him and cakes an co equally but the addiction is real 😍. Plus it’s a huge compliment to him haha. The coffee is also incredible and I love the fact you are supporting a small business. If you haven’t been then definitely give it a try as you won’t regret it.

Wonderful small business serving delicious coffee and amazing handmade cakes! Have had a few of their cakes; the buttercream/frosting they do is different to anything we’ve ever had, it was unreal!🤤 Also had their brownies and their CinABUNs which were a delight! The best cinnamon (and pecan and caramel) buns around! They also do savoury food, but we are yet to try that, but everything looks amazing! Every time we’ve visited we’ve been greeted by wonderful staff who are friendly and welcoming. Overall a lovely business and definitely recommend visiting if you’re in the area!

This is most definitely my favourite cake shop. Simply delicious, not heavy buttercream or too sugary, but great textures and flavours. We grab a takeout cake once a month. We actually drive 20 miles to do this- it’s that good!
