Just had tea and a cake with my lovely work colleague friends. What a gorgeous little tea shop this is. We were greeted by a lovely member of staff armed with a hot sample of winter tea. They also had delicious vegan cupcakes and all of the treats were beautifully presented. To add to the experience, all of the teas, coffees, infusers etc. are available to buy. The shop itself smells of delicious things and the ambience is mellow and inviting. I was so impressed and will definitely be visiting again. All of the staff are super friendly - thank you ladies for a lovely afternoon in a perfect tea-lovers heaven!

Popped in on the off chance for a tea and a scone and wow what an experience, I have been on green tea for a few years now and was totally astounded by the assortment of tea available here. I selected the local Grantham Tea and it was that nice I brought a box to take home. The scones were some of the best that I have had as well. All in all a very delightful experience and some lovely tea to take home, I purchased a box of Jasmin tea as well, The service was quick and prices were what you would expect to pay for a quality tea. In the past i've paid more for what looked and tasted like dishwater. We will visit again the next time we're in Grantham.

We popped in here a couple of weeks ago when taking a trip to Grantham. They have a lovely shop at the front of the cafe selling a huge range of teas, along with other home interior bits. The cafe itself is nice, they have an extensive range of teas, and ours came with a cute little egg timer to ensure that the tea had brewed long enough (it's the small things!). Service was really good and friendly too. I wasn't overly impressed by the cake that we ordered though :-( We both had a slice from 2 different cakes (I had the gingerbread cake) and although a really generous portion, it was dry, which was disappointing.

This is by far the best place to take tea....or coffee....in town. There are great choices to drink or take home, super fresh food, and products to buy. Don’t miss it.

A chance find on a stop in Grantham. Even with restrictions staff were cheerful and welcoming. Premises are spotless, light & airy. Service was friendly and polite. Numerous teas to choose from and as a decaf drinker, their loose decaf tea in a proper pot, with egg timer for steep suggestions, was lovely. Had one of their veggie scones, delicious and the lightest scone I think I've ever had. Cakes looked scrummy. Hubby had a coffee and the cheesiest cheese scone he's had for ages. Would thoroughly recommend and should we be in the area again would not hesitate to stop.

Thank you Trip Advisor for the positive reviews of this cafe. We followed the recommendations, had a wonderful visit and sampled coffee and cake. We were not disappointed. Even although it was a wet and miserable day, the cafe was inviting to look at from outside. We couldn’t resist stepping inside. It was fairly quiet when we arrived with a choice of seating available. We chose to sit in two comfortable arm chairs sharing a coffee table between us. The cafe smelled fresh and looked clean and spacious. The layout was ideal for people with a disability as there were no stairs to toilets etc. There was plenty of space between tables for wheelchairs, Prams and mobility aids. Walls displayed various tea related imagery and we were inspired by the use of old tea chests with diverse characters printed onto them. There was a small selection of tea related gifts for sale plus a fabulous range of specialist teas and a variety of shapes and sizes of teapots. We were totally charmed. There was a tremendous selection of cakes and unusual scones, at the counter. All freshly made by the owner. We chose an apricot and ginger scone with clotted cream and a raspberry and coconut tart. We thought we were perhaps committing sacrilege in ordering coffee rather than one of the many loose leaf teas on offer but we were met with warmth and a free sample of fennel tea, as well as delicious coffee. Both the tart and scone were fresh, delicious and subtly flavoursome. The clotted cream oozed indulgence and complemented both cakes beautifully. (Although the cream was specifically intended to accompany the scone, I felt duty bound to have some of the surplus with my tart!) In short, we savoured this exceptional visit. We hope to return in the future and thoroughly recommend that you try this wonderful cafe for yourself. Just do it!

This is a great cafe, easily - in my opinion - the finest currently open in Grantham. The tea is wonderful: perfectly prepared, perfectly served, and very, very tasty. There's a relatively small selection of sweet and savoury snacks, but all that I've tried have been well prepared and of good quality. You can find cheaper places, but I don't think you'll find anywhere better. The atmosphere is great, too. Staff appear well-informed, helpful, friendly, and happy to be there; service is swift and efficient.

I have visited Teaspoon many times since it was first established, and have never been disappointed with the quality of the food and drink. Everything is clearly homemade, baked with passion, and absolutely delicious. The owner however, I’ve found to be quite stand-offish, and short with customers. The rest of the staff are a credit to the shop, so that is my only concern. Value for money is good, and the menu is nice and varied.

We came in on Thursday with my 6 year old, hoping to have a nice time with a slice of cake. There were samples of tea at the front of the cafe, which we tried before we proceeded to the make an order. Just before we were ready to make an order, the owner (I presume it was him) rushed to us, asking us 'are you actually going to order something' in a raised voice. To which I politely replied yes. I took a table at the very end of the cafe as my son is an active and a curious boy. I was on the phone, when my son went to the cafe shelving to have a look at teapots, which was 2 meters away from me. Immediately, the owner rushed to me, shouting 'Madam, you should watch your child, he out of control'... I am still in shock about how we were both treated. Not coming back. Ever. I have a lot of friends moms with kids, and this is not a place to come for a cake with children. Shame that the owner did not even see anything wrong about his behavior and continued to be nasty when I confronted him. We go to 'Kitchen and cofee' cafe a lot, and never had anything like that ....

After seeing this place getting busier and busier since it opened - Self and the Missus decided to pop in for a midweek afternoon tea. Twas an inspired idea! The selection of teas is awesome (they have got coffee, too) and the really helpful and welcoming staff certainly know their stuff and will offer helpful advice, if you just ask. There's a smaller food menu than you'd get in a full-blown cafe - but that misses the point - this is a tea-house. And the food they do have, is first-rate and very reasonably priced (try the cream tea, with a choice of three types of scones). This place oozes character, and is really welcoming. Other excellent points: they're open until 5:00pm (not many places are) and there's no pressure to boot you out. And there's free wi-fi. And comfy, easy chairs too!

I recommend starting on the bottom savoury level of the plate stand then going to the top level which is scones ,clotted cream and jam, then going to the middle level which is lots of different cake. I have never managed to eat everything so the cake is easiest thing to box up and take home. The staff are very knowledgable about tea and recommended several that I really like. Attended after church ⛪️ service ( funeral), Both the gentleman and the lady in attendance were very helpful and kind given the circumstances. They couldn't do enough for all. The pub itself was lovely, definitely I would highly recommend to anyone 😀
