We had the most wonderful breakfast here on a Saturday. It was lively but there were always tables available. The food was truly incredible- we had the full breakfast and the burrito and tried the pancakes too. All were great and cooked fresh - the pancakes were especially perfect. We plan to come here again; it’s a remote location but totally worth the drive and we would highly recommend to anyone!

We used 'Kington Cafe' for a working lunch, for 45 people. Food was delivered to our office, everything was labeled and the allergens requirements we had clearly identified. We had a wonderful selection of food, sandwiches, selection of quiches, sausage roll - normal and vegetarian, cakes, fresh fruit and crisps. There was plenty of food to go round, with most people going back for seconds. Will certainly recommend, and we hope to use again in the future.

The food and drinks were absolutely amazing and really exceeded my expectations. We tried the Oink Oink Croissant Banh Mi and the DIY Beef Brisket, both of which were incredibly delicious and memorable. We also had an orange-infused coffee called Baby Bumblebee, and I was hooked after just one sip!

I have been meaning to pop in for a while. I went with a friend on Saturday, and immediately loved the quaint coffee shop with its courtyard garden. Staff were very efficient and friendly. Amazing selection of teas, coffees and drinks. We had a cheese and onion toasty which was served with side salad, coleslaw and crisps. It was perfect. We also had cake, made on the premises. One was gluten and dairy free. It was incredible! So tasty. Definitely recommend a visit. I’m going back next weekend!

A friend had seen the Emmaus charity shop on instagram and was keen to visit as there was 15 rooms to explore. As the website stayed there was a cafe we arrived in time for lunch. Although the indoor space is compact there is a covered area and a lovely little garden to sit in weather permitting. Good menu choice of panini and jacket potatoes and an extensive drinks menu . We had panini and coffee and after looking around the charity shop we went back and had coffee and cake. All the food was delicious and well presented and we thought reasonably priced. The pomegranate and orange cake was extremely nice and would recommend. The thing that stood out the most was that all the people we met from the cafe to the charity store were so friendly and went out of their way to help you. If you have mobility issues there is disabled parking right outside the shop ( up the hill from the main carpark) and at the cafe there are some steps but you also go around the back a bit and get to the car park that way. Overall we were very impressed with the shop and cafe and the fact it was all for such a good cause was a bonus.

The Grape Variety at Chipstead is a hidden gem… wine shop by day, wine bar by night. Adrian and his team do a superb job and we always love going. Great wines, lovely service and ambience and some lovely food options e.g. chorizo and fries, baked Camembert, charcuterie boards etc. We highly recommend and it makes a nice change from the pub for something a bit different.

Chanced upon this fantastic little place when visiting Tewkesbury and I am so pleased we did! If you were to ask me to depict a "perfect" independant cofe this would pretty much be it. The service was great, the coffee top notch and the food (Bacon, brie & cranberry pannini and ham and cheese toastie) fresh and tasty. We don't come to Tewkesbury that often but when we do we will be stopping by Maisie's and perhaps we shall visit more often in future.
