We had a party at The Star Inn and can’t rate it highly enough. We had an amazing time! The room was a great size, the staff were great and Josh the DJ did a fantastic job with the disco and the karaoke. We had a wonderful time celebrating our birthdays! Friendly staff, great environment. Very welcoming. Disco/karaoke every month and they are amazing! Also children and dog friendly. Lots of variety of sports.

We often drop into the Star Inn for a drink but last night we hired the back room for a party. We were blown away with the service from start to finish. Unsure of exactly what we needed Carol and Sean spent time talking us through the options available. We decided to have the party catered by them and were very happy with the quality and service. Everyone at the party complimented the presentation and quality of the food served, and we ourselves could not believe the incredible value for money. I would highly recommend using the Star Inn if you are looking for a good venue to hire. It is also a great place to go for a drink when you are in the area.

Popped in for a meal and the food was great and once again the service was excellent. Really enjoyed the visit.

If your looking for a good old fashioned cosy English pub, then look no further. We happened upon it by chance and was made to feel welcome by not only the staff but also the locals. Great atmosphere, and includes a pool room and an enclosed beer garden. We returned 4 days in a row and enjoyed a typical pub lunch. A special mention of the lovely Nadine, who went above and beyond to look after us.

We visit here regularly. Great food, good selection of drinks and always a warm welcome from the locals. The pizzas come highly recommended, although theres plenty of choice on the menu all freshly prepared and well presented.

Great all day breakfast. Ham salad cob was full of filling was a meal in itself. Great food. Great value. Definitely recommend.

Lived locally to this pub for a while and can honestly recommend their food, its delicious. Lovely owners and bar stuff, have always been super friendly and helpful with food and drink suggestions. This is a number one pub destination, the atmosphere is super cozy.

Great social pub for all ages and dogs, the staff are friendly and helpful, from serving drinks or food, got to say food as always been spot on, recommend their home made pizza. Sport is available to watch on different tvs in different rooms and even outside in hidden garden area, excellent for when footy is on, as a football fan, but cater for most sports, and they can have different sports on different tvs at the same time too cater for most people, which is a great idea.. a great room in the back with pool table, skittles table and dart board to challenge friends on nights out.. The disco/karaoke nights get busy and very entertaining, really enjoy them nights out as a group, will definitely keep returning to enjoy all the different things available, thankyou to all involved keeping the pub as it is..

If you are looking for a family run pub with great food and drink in a lovely friendly and safe environment where families and pets are welcome then the star inn is your local. My family and and I have wined and dined on many occasion and have never been disappointed.

Went to this lovely village pub for a family meal , the staff where very polite and helpful . The food was hot and well presented, and tasted great . Was worried about my young children leaving there chairs . I was told not to worry as they are a family pub and welcome children. Great all round night out , will definitely return 😊

Best pub is Stanton by far. Friendly staff and good beer. The layout is great with a good beer garden. You can go for a quick drink or stay for a while watching sport on the big screens
