The best restaurants in Blaby East Midlands

Great little cafe in Narborough village. Small inside with outside dog- friendly garden with separate entrance. Seating outside with some undercover. Friendly efficient service. Downside is that it's cramped inside and the toilet is up a step and is not disabled friendly. Good coffee at reasonable price plus cakes, brunch etc. Would recommend if you're out for a walk, visiting the library which is almost next door or you just want a friendly cafe. It closes at 3pm.

Special Birthday cake! My husband was ordering a birthday cake for my birthday but had left it a little late. He found Homemade by Linda in an internet search and what a luck find it was. He telephoned Linda and explained what he needed and how many people would be at the event. Linda was friendly and helpful and made the perfect size cake. It was beautiful. A butter, vanilla flavoured cake. three layers with vanilla buttercream and strawberry jam between the layers. Covered in a lemon buttercream with edible flowers and meringues on the top, with a Happy Birthday message. Thank you from one Linda to another!

Went to the other day and everything was amazing. Shisha is on point, drinks and food are delicious and customer service was great. Defo coming back here again.

Was staying at the Hilton about a mile away. Visited on Tuesday night we were the only people in the restaurant side. Had Saag Chicken, egg fried rice (enough for two) and Keema Naan bread. Bargain price of £13.75 Food was lovely and better than curry house at end of my road. Very friendly people and next time I'm up there for business trip I will be back 😋

Doreen se ofreció a llevar el café y los cocidos a la mesa... incluso limpió y limpió la mesa antes de que nos hubiéramos sentado. Terrible breakfast 🤢 I chose the full English which wasn’t full English as didn’t have black pudding or toast, on plating up the food I noticed that the Bain Marie which keeps the food hot was absolutely filthy they removed some trays and had not been cleaned for some time it had old noodles etc stuck inside it floating , this is the poorest standard which put me off the breakfast to start with let along if health and hygiene was to visit would definitely get a warning for food practices , so I went and sat down the sausages and bacon looked and tasted like they had been cooked 2 days ago dried out and bacon had gone to rubber , the cutlery was dirty had to change them the mushrooms were not cooked correctly they were substantially undercooked , the beans were de-hydrated in the tray that they were displayed in had not been cleaned , the hash browns were definitely Cooked in old oil they tasted bitter and smelled like old oil , overall very very poor . I am a chef of 30years experience and this has to be 1 of the poorest efforts I’ve seen for £10! This place really needs a shake up as if this would have been in 1 of my establishments staff would have been told to closed throw all food away full clean and cook fresh ,

The owners are top people and the food is to die for I would highly recommend for people to stop and try it out 👍🏻

Amazing experience. The food was first rate. A selection of tapas from the a la carte menu. Not the usual boring tapas but original options that were hearty tasty and great value. Additionally we had mains from the timeless classic menu. All in all the meal was excellent quality and coming over from Belgium I can honestly say that the service was one of the best I have had in the U.K.! I definitely want to return here.

First time here. Lovely quaint little bar. Unfortunately we couldn't stay for long but we will definitely be back.

Very nice place and I am pleased with the high level of service. Highly recommended.
