Rick's Ramblers had a Skittles evening this evening. Great venue and wonderful food! 10/10! We will be back!

We visited here this Wed eve for our dad's birthday meal, the food is very good value, homemade and delicious. It is a shame that they only serve food Tues and Wed evening and weekday lunches, as difficult for us to usually go mid week. But would thoroughly recommend and hope to go again one day.

Been many times but not for a while, god knows why i go anywhere else, if you want proper pub meals and i don't mean pretentious crap that you get with many of the large pub chains come here, not a massive menu but enough for the good food connoisseur, fast ser vice in a nice country pub environment and extra special puddings, unbeatable.

Friendly village pub, good food at lunch time also serves food 2 evenings a week. Food is good value for money, home cooked options.

The best local pub and eatery near me, the food is great, always homemade pies etc and great sweets also great value for money.

Eaten here many times at Lunch Time and the home cooked food is just fabulous. Desserts are absolutely fabulous. Great service and great value for money.

I work away a lot in and out of the country. But the red lion is a welcome home every time. It is always a warm and friendly environment. The service is beyond reproach, always happy. The staff are a real credit to the Everards brand!! I would recommend this pub! Please keep up the good work Red Lion, especially Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.

About 14 of us had pre booked lunch prior to a local walk. There were other largish groups already in when we arrived and tables of 2 and 4 as well. The kitchen must be so well managed! The food came out timely. Excellent food whatever you ordered. The Roast Beef dinner was superb. Lovely meat, very good quality and lots of it plus plenty of vegetables and potatoes. And at under £5 this was outstanding value. Would have loved to have tried the desserts but too much eaten on the main! The beer was well kept and staff pleasant. The only disappointment was the beer I intended trying had run out but there were 3 other options. So an excuse to go back sometime soon!

great venue - Skittle alley is connected to teh bar without going outside, very friendly staff, everyone is most accommodating, good food as always - overall the group had a great time Thank you very much to the owners

there is a choice of about 6 to 10 main meals at £4.50 and 6/7 puds at £2.50 great value great taste.

I visited this pub which is in my area, with three friends. As soon as you walk into the bar area you feel welcome and the smell of food being cooked. It is not a large eating area, but the tables are very clean and a nice touch of a little plant on each table. The staff were very nice, and the main thing was that we did not wait long for the food to be served. In all it was a very pleasant evening and the food was really good. Will certainly have a return visit well done Red Lion.

Went here for lunch today with my friend. Great home cooked food at a reasonable price. Homemade pies to salads, then banana splits to homemade cherry Bakewell. Friendly service. Worth a visit.

Lovely village pub with a very welcoming feel. Staff are so friendly. The menu has a great selection of meals and there is something for everyone. We had a beautiful meal, steak and Ale Pie was gorgeous and it was fantastic value for money. Definitely worth a visit.

Went for lunch with a friend. Friendly welcome. Obviously loads of regulars. Wonderful menu of home made food. We both enjoyed different mains and puddings and all were lovely ingredients well prepared and presented. Excellent value for money. Try it.
