Very friendly and helpful staff and a lovely breakfast made interesting with the addition of shakshuka - we have always been impressed with the food every time that we have come here. The range of vegetarian food is spectacular and makes for a lovely lunch. A little gem in the middle of the Cornish countryside - food served without any portentous overtones.

I stumbled across this place by accident and feel like I've found a real hidden gem. I stayed for 3 hours as I needed a place to work between meetings. The staff were lovely and the food is outrageously good. I had aubergine fritters and chickpea chips, which were both delicious and beautifully presented. I also tried two of their homemade cordials, which were lovely and refreshing on a hot summers day. They have lots of seating options, inside and out, and it seems like a great place to come with dogs if you want to go for a walk before or after. Can't wait to come back and try some more of their food!

Great welcome and attentive service. Food good Coffee cup on small size, so required a second cup when normally out for breakfast one will be adequate.

Well what to say ? Came in on a wet Cornish day Staff were fantastic welcoming us in Food was to die for Shakshuka was the nicest taste I’d ever had and I eat some !! Bakewell Tart bit of a naughty at Breakfast but with clotted cream it was perfect We also purchased their Piccalilli this was a game changer A final treat was a small jar of green chilli jam this is beautiful If you only go to one place this year this should be it 10/10

Fabulous little cafe. Decided on an ad hoc stop as we were passing at lunch time and were very pleasantly surprised. A small but very tasty menu, with meals that did not disappoint. Highly recommended.

We stayed in the Woodland collection cottages next to the big green shed so it was very handy for a cuppa when we were waiting for our accommodation to be ready and we then had breakfast there a couple of days later. Menu is small but food is fantastic. For breakfast I had the fruit pancakes, it was a very large portion with 3 pancakes, yoghurt, fruit and crumble, absolutely delicious. Great value for money and staff were lovely and very helpful

I love The Big Green Shed, it's my absolute first choice for meeting friends or sneaking out for a cheeky coffee. The food is excellent, the staff are brilliant and the coffee is delicious. Nice relaxed vibe, outside seating overlooking wildflower meadows, plenty of parking, dog friendly.

Can there be a better place to go for a Brunch with friends when not only do they serve you their scrumptious breakfast special, but they also add a candle for your Birthday .......really cute thank you 😍

We were staying in the middle of nowhere (Parbola holiday camp, to be more specific) for a weeks vocation with no breakfast options, so a Google search for "breakfast near me" brought up this place. What luck! Definitely off the beaten track and small but perfectly formed. So good we came back the next day. Food was amazing, service and staff were lovely. Shaksuka was amazing. Best food we had all week!

Came across the Big Green Shed by sheer luck and what a fantastic addition to the local food scene. Breakfast was excellent and we would have loved to have come back another day for lunch. The lunch menu is so different from other eating places. Also worth mentioning are the friendly and positive staff. Will definitely visit next time that we are in the area.

We were lucky to have been directed here by a local friend who knew of Ben’s other places otherwise we would never have found it. Everyone’s dishes were amazing. We had hake fish cakes, peach pancakes, smoked makers pate but the sweetcorn fritters might have been the star of the main dishes. We tried most of the desserts on the menu and loved them all but the Bakewell slices were the best we had ever tasted.

What a wonderful breath of fresh air. You are greeted with wild flower meadows as you turn off the road, plenty of parking space and well spaced tables. Then there is the food, delightful spicing and flavours, served by staff who seem genuinely happy to see you. I could quite happily have started at the top of the menu and worked my way down, enjoying every mouthful. There are some excellent eateries in west Cornwall and this sits with the best of them. If you are looking for well priced, unfussy but extremely flavourful food, I heartily recommend the Big Green Shed. Well done Lisa and Ben.

Another fabulous visit to the Big Green Shed, lunch this time with lush lamb burger & fries, and halloumi & avocado with new potatoes, followed by Lemon tarts, all very reasonably priced. Thanks Jody, Ben and staff, see you on 25th for a Brunch Breakfast 😀

An absolutely splendid venue with the most wonderful menu and excellent, friendly service. A real find!

The food is made fresh to order and is soo tasty with amazing spices which is a real skill. The setting is so pretty overlooking wild flowers and woods and the staff are really friendly too. Nothing is too much trouble

Visited today for the first time with my partner. I had a light lunch (from the daily specials board) my partner had an all day breakfast. The flavours on both meals were absolutely amazing. You can really tell the food was made with love and using seasonal fresh produce. A good quality rose wine and local cider too! A really tranquil and relaxing setting. Very friendly and knowledgable service and a nice chilled out vibe. The pricing is very reasonable. Well worth a visit. I would highly recommend 😀

What a lovely place for lunch with family. Beautiful setting with lots of outdoor seating and some indoor as well. There were 5 of us and we all had different things and all were very good indeed. The service was excellent. On balance the fish with lobster sauce was the voted best by our group but it was a close call as the flavours in everything were fantastic. Definitely returning to this our new favourite lunch spot.

Beautiful setting in the Cornish countryside, delicious food, well-chosen and -priced wines, and friendly service. This place is a great addition to the burgeoning food scene in the county, and one I look forward to revisiting wherever possible. Get a table while you still can!

Stopped for lunch and had an amazing experience. I had the pork belly tacos and my wife had the heritage tomato salad. Both oozed interesting flavours that were thoroughly enjoyable. Setting was pleasant with lovely countryside views. Highly recommended for food lovers
