Ellies Soul Kitchen in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

Wonderful, independent cafe. Delicious Home made food. There are plenty of vegan options. Warm and friendly service from Ellie and her team. May 2024 I tried the jackfruit middle Eastern dish in pitta bread. This was a multi layered taste sensation, a pleasant surprise in every bite.

Amazing food. Beautiful scenery. A must when visiting the Lizard.

what a find! after a fantastic morning at Kynance Cove, we were delighted to stumble upon Ellie's Soul Kitchen. Running off solar panels and a wind turbine, Ellie manages to conjure up a variety of extremely tasty dishes and proves once and for all that houmous can be made interesting with a little bit of imagination. We had a delicious salad to go with it, and enjoyed sitting in her pretty little field. I'm pretty sure there were gluten free options too but this is a solid recommendation to any vegans in the area.

Relatives had recommended this place and I’m very glad they did. Lovely food - we had chicken Dahl and a nice chunk of cake for dessert. Friendly people; parking and seating available not far from Kynance Cove. Thoroughly recommended!

I don’t know what on earth they did to those figs but they were the best I’ve ever had. Beautiful location, beautiful food and service.

The most amazing food, amazing setting and amazing people in the caravan kitchen! Went for lunch while camping in Lizard and went back for dinner - the best food we've eaten in ages. Thank you :)

What a lovely find on the way to Kynance Cove, the cute pink caravan catches your eye and you can drive in and park inside where there is plenty of space. You will be greeted by the friendliest people ever, who also have great banter! It’s a very peaceful place to sit and have a drink and a snack, we shared the hummus and lamb pitta plate which was yummy. I’d recommend stopping off here if you plan on heading down to Kynance Cove!

So happy to stumble across this ideal combination of location, people, food (and weather). The perfect conclusion to our day.

Finished eating the cream cheese cake before I managed to take a picture. Great food, would be great if there is any wind shielding in the windy raining British weather. Great experience for my 5 year old 😁👍

Ellie's Soul Kitchen is a lovley place for a cup of tea/coffee and a cake ( carrot cake or brownie 😋). Also the view is fantastic 😍

Can't rave enough about the place, so I'll leave it to the others. Suffice to say that of the four days we've stayed in Cornwall so far, this is the best place we've eaten at. I don't see how it can be beaten.

Ellie's Soul Kitchen is one of those places that you'll tell your friends about for years to come. It's a place you'll want to take people so they can also enjoy a truly unique and wonderful experience. I can't wait to go back!!!

I found Ellies Soul Kitchen online last year when we first decided to go back to Cornwall for our summer holiday in June this year. We visited Kynance Cove today, and stopped at Ellies on the way back to our accommodation for drinks and cake. The sun was shining and it was a perfect setting to sit and relax with a cuppa and a slice of homemade chocolate orange brownie with very friendly service ...Thankyou ! 😋

Best food I've had in a long time! Freindly staff, great location and amazing food! Wonderful, tasty vegan option as well as meat& dairy options. I would highly recommend grabbing some food here!

We had a delicious lunch here last week. Jackfruit shawarma for me, ploughman's for the other half. Very tasty, healthy, fresh food. Interesting, unusual meals.

Delicious cakes and decent coffee set in a peaceful paddock. A perfect escape from the crowds at Kynance Cove. Not to be missed.

Great little spot next to Hiking trail. The food was delicious and staff super friendly. Definitely recommend it to come here.

Food was good, veggie bias, but with local meat alternatives. Location is a bit exposed, so wear a windproof is necessary. Worth seeking out and supporting.

Fantastic food, had the lamb masala special and the hummus and roast carrot, both exceptional, definitely worth hunting out, great friendly service, perfect.

Extremely friendly and lovely couple. We stopped there on the road to Kynance Cove. A small piece of nature with lovely cuisine presented better than expected in such a wild and small space. We had also a nice conversation. These are the small miracles that make the world a better place to live.

Really tasty vegan options, great welcome and ideal place to chill before the journey home. The doggies said "thanks for the ham"

Really unusual place out in the wilderness, the food was absolutely delicious and totally exceeded our expectations, really friendly and relaxed environment will definitely be coming back in season 10/10

Food is absolutely fantastic. The jackfruit shawarma was packed full of flavour and came with cous cous and red cabbage. The chocolate cake was moist and flavoursome too, totally moreish. There was also a blackberry Victoria sponge on offer that looked equally as tasty but I could only choose one unfortunately haha. Highly recommend eating here and super friendly staff

Seriously good (vegan) food, served by two of the most beautiful souls! Unbelievably inexpensive too even by Cornwall standards. First time ever that I almost don’t want to write a review for fear that the place would be run over by the madding crowd - but Ellie’s deserves all the awesome kudos coming her way.

This quaint caravan was the highlight of a dreary Saturday. Sami was a wonderful host. Would recommend the Smoked mackerel!

We had two delicious lunches at Ellie's Soul Kitchen. Fantastic food (salad box, falafel salad box, pita bread and we couldn't resist the cakes) and really friendly service from Ellie and Sammy. There is place to park, and some tables to enjoy the food at. So happy to have stumbled across Ellie's Soul Kitchen.

Surprising little food place near Kynance cove. I tried the mackerel paté(served with toasted bloomer), ham sandwich and Jolly pink lemonade from this place and it was delicious. Sammy and Ellie were a friendly bunch who provided us with outstanding customer service. The place has a space to park and couple of benches for you to sit are enjoy the food too.

Lovely little set up the have here. Weather was a bit dull when we visited but still just as nice.

A small caravan preparing delicious food in an enclosed grassy area with simple garden tables and chairs. Make no mistake, this is no "roadside burger van" but a lovely fair weather venue to sit with friends and enjoy lovingly prepared food.

Ellie's Soul Food Kitchen is truly unique. The food is creative and absolutely packed with flavour. It's clear that a great deal of love, and talent, goes into the food and overall concept. So far, we've had the mackeral pate, the jackfruit curry, the Morrocan chicken, the torte and the cheesecake. I cannot praise these dishes enough: absolute perfection. The service is also top notch. Ellie and Sam are welcoming and joyful. We can't wait to go again, sit above the sea, chat with friendly people, and eat delicious food. Go: it's good for the soul. X

We came across this place while heading to Kynance Cove and walked back to have lunch (although you can drive and park there). It was amazing! We had the jackfruit and falafel salad boxes with a pitta on the side and they were absolutely delicious. A completely guilt free lunch that powered us through the afternoon. The service was super friendly and the setting very scenic and peaceful. I can’t wait to visit again when I’m back in the area!

A hidden gem! The menu was great for all eating preferences, I had the Arabic inspired Jack fruit shawarma vegan pitta with salad and it was delicious, my kids had cheesy Pitta pockets and cherry tomatoes. The Owner Ellie and Sami were friendly and great with my kids. Thanks for a lovely meal.

What a find! Delicious food cooked by a lovely friendly couple in a little caravan in a beautiful outdoor setting. I had the smoked pollock gratin which was superb. We had spotted this place on the way to Kynance and Ellie suggested we could phone ahead to order which we did. Great veggie food too. Highly recommend.

AMAZING....We're not vegetarian but the vegi food is to die for. Had the Jackfruit Shawarma which was lush, followed by the Salted Caramel Torte... & Ellie's sisters Cherry Bakewell. Wish they were closer, we'd go all the time! Thank you so much 👍 😋

I was early to meet my Pal here for lunch, and had a lovely chat with Ellie and her friend while I drank some tea and waited. When my mate arrived we both ordered a jackfruit shawarma. It was windy, so we sat in the lee of the hedge , enjoyed watching a buzzard, and drank some more tea. The food arrived in no time at all, in biodegradable takeaway packaging, and tasted delicious, a really good combination of not just flavours, but textures too. We weren’t done catching up, so a fresh mint tea was ordered, along with a very generous and delicious slice of carrot cake, a bowl of water for the dog and some more laughs with the proprietors. I bought a piece of torte to take home for my Lady, and when I got back regretted not buying 2! Thanks Ellie for a lovely lunch.

Ellie’s food is absolutely delicious! I had been advised to stop by Ellie’s little set up on route to the beach and boy am I glad I did! The jackfruit pitta is so good I’m still thinking of it a day later. I also took away a smoked mackerel pate for the beach and gobbled it up in seconds. I highly recommend. She has such a wonderful set up, so simple but so special. I will definitely be stopping by again!

A spectacular gem of a place in an unexpected location! I’d have expected to find food like this in some back street in London, but to find something this unique and tasty in a place so remote is completely amazing!!

Ellie's food is delicious and everything is freshly prepared to order. The food is five star quality set in a five star location near Kynance Cove. Highly recommended.

The food was delicious and nutritious. Also very reasonably priced and good sized portions. Very friendly proprietoress gave us tips on how she keeps her falafels so juicy. As a falafel connoisseur I have to say hers are prob the best I've ever had!

Had lunch here and it was epic. Had a laugh with the two staff too. Would highly recommend stopping here if you are near by.

The food here was absolutely delicious and the service was really friendly! We had never tried jackfruit before but definitely will have it again! So happy we stumbled across this hidden gem. Perfect in the middle of a long walk, the location of the caravan was absolutely beautiful. One of the nicest meals we had on our trip to Cornwall! Highly recommend!
