Great staff. Ordered a Boo Koos meal from the owners restaurant across the road (pub is dog friendly) and they brought it over..perfect!

A lovely local pub with pool table and darts. What really sells the place is that Boo Koos (across the road) will deliver right to your table and their food is top tier! Big, tasty portions; not to be missed!

Fantastic bar staff, really nice and polite. Wonderful service and multiple screens with options of sports. Food is brilliant from boo koos. Exceptional beer garden and child friendly as well.

Nice pub good selection of drinks and you can get a take away order from Boo Koo's which is opposite the Pub delivered to your table at the Bell.

Really welcoming pub with real fire to keep you cosy on a cold day. Good range of drinks ( food is available from the sister cafe across the road). TVs switched on. Some limited shirt term parking on the street ,otherwise there is a near by car park. Dogs welcome

Here you can order food from the place opposite and they bring it into the pub for you. Assortment of burgers and lots of side dishes. Loved the cheesy chips. This pub is great for watching footy as it has screens everywhere and good for a game of pool. Nice outdoor area.

A great pub, with plenty of atmosphere. First visit for me with work mates. Burger from Boo Koos (over the road) delivered into the pub enhanced the time there. Boo Koos burger, exceptional.

They get the food from boo koo across the road, lovely beer, lovely atmosphere. It's all good. A great pub after a hard days holidaying.

Well run pub, with excellent beer garden. Inside it is a very friendly and well organized. There is a good selection of beers including low/ non alcoholic bottled beers. My wine expect was very happy with what was available, and we both enjoyed the US imported snacks - a great change. Very good pub.

A nice pint, friendly staff and a live group all made my visit an enjoyable afternoon

Had a great evening, reading my book in the outer covered area that has some lush seating, a smaller bar nd a couple of large TV screens, the outside area has tables nd benches. Inside there is separated area for playing darts and another for playing snooker/pool. All around are tables nd chairs where you can enjoy the atmosphere nd eat your food, watch sport on TV screens dotted about or just enjoy the atmosphere. The staff are very amicable as are the patrons if the Inn

It was a delightful experience bar staff were friendly and happy to help. And with bookoos there too I didn’t go hungry highly recommended

Warm & friendly welcome where we wanted to eat. Fantastic partnership with Boo Koos across the road. We ordered our food whilst enjoying our drinks in The Bell Inn. The food was delivered within minutes with cutlery & condiments. So impressed with two establishments partnering to meet their customer needs. Excellent value for money & would wholeheartedly recommend.

Great atmosphere and friendly service!

We eat here all the time being located in the town. Must say I have never had a bad meal. Lovely homemade food and very affordable. Been meaning to do this review for the last two years but having heard about the negative review below I felt I had to set the record straight. Lots of restaurants are using disposable cutlery and plates. Sadly as a result of Covid and personally If it’s safer I am all for it. The food is always hot and excellent value for money. I love trip advisor all the time and most are true and honest reviews but those on her for there own gain should be banned. Keep doing the same all at the Bell, you rock xx

Would not recommend this pub for food. We ordered two chicken burgers, sausage and chips and the lasagna. The lasagna was nicely presented but I can’t say the same for the other meals. They were served in polystyrene chip shop style boxes. For £12 a burger I would expect it to at least be served on a plate. Wooden cutlery. The burgers were dry & the lasagna was bland and not even made properly. When the food was bought over to us, the bar man said they would make some more chips to go with the burgers as there wasn’t many. A good pub wouldn’t serve the food if they knew it wasn't right. When the extra box of chips were bought over you could tell they were different chips to the ones with the burgers, they tasted different too.We think they had just bought the food from a chippy. When confronting the staff they said they had the polystyrene boxes and wooden cutlery due to Covid. He went on to explain that they didn’t have enough room in the kitchen for a dishwasher and then said that their dishwasher had broken. Will not be returning.

Just had a lovely Sunday carvery at the Bell Inn Helston and as a vegan the nut roast was fabulous and Lisa made sure the potatoes and veg were all vegan friendly, thank you so much and laid on vegan gravy for me, so thoughtful, have taken some lovely photos of the food, lush!. Pub looks great following its refit so cozy and warm, great job Simon and Lisa xx

Mr & Mrs Bruce want to say a huge thank you to Lisa,Simon and their fantastic bar staff for making our day perfect. Their hospitality was out of this world, nothing was too much trouble. The pub was decorated beautifully, and the buffet that was put on for us was beautiful, with all guests commenting how lovely it was.Thank you for helping make our special day all the more special. We would definitely recommend The Bell Inn for anyone thinking of having any kind of event.

17 Welsh ladies wearing micky mouse ears desended on Saturday night, a section of the pub dedicated to us decorated beautifully, provided with our own drinks waiter, beautiful food and bonus free chocolate cake supplied, what a lovely gesture. Highly recommend this super pub, its has a lovely atmosphere and super garden which I'm sure is fantastic in the summer sun. Thank you to all at The Bell Inn - from the hens

Staying in the area for a hen weekend with a party of lovely ladies and our organiser booked a table and meal for Saturday evening. On arrival we were met by lovely staff who had reserved a separate area for our part decorated with balloons and lights and lovely table decorations. We were made to feel very special and our server took all our orders for drinks so we did not have to go to the bar. We were provided with salads and sides separately before we went to the servers for our lovely choice of food. The food was fabulous and the service was great. Nothing was too much trouble and we had a great night. Thank you to all the staff especially our young lady who looked after us so well and git us extra chips!!!! Highly recommended!

We visited Helston on a Hen weekend and booked a section of the pub for food and drinks on the Saturday night. Lisa and the team went above and beyond - they decorated, catered for and truly looked after us for the whole night and it was fantastic. The food was delicious and the staff were so incredibly thoughtful and helpful. This place surpassed expectation and we all would highly recommend it. Popped in as Boo Koos across the road was fully booked. The landlady said we could order from Boo Koos and sit in the pub to eat it, fabulous, so that’s what we (and countless others) did. Fantastic pub, friendly staff and with the best outside area we’ve seen. Great drinks and reasonable prices and loads of customers ordering from Boo Koos across the road. Such a great idea!

We only popped in for a drink at this inn during the afternoon looking around the lovely market town. The landlord was very friendly and so was his dog. This inn is comfortable and there is plenty of seating inside and outside. An old fashioned pub. We will eat there next time we visit.

Had lunch and a pint here with friends and family, food was appealing and tasty and plenty of it. Totally worth a visit!

We’ve lived locally for almost 2 years but this was our first visit. Really friendly Landlord. G and T served beautifully in a proper glass. Fab food. Lovely clean facilities and a nice beer terrace / garden. A hidden gem. Next time you’re in Helston, come to The Bell!

This Inn is under new management - they had only been there for 3 weeks when we visited (31.08.2017) and the welcome and service was wonderful. The menu was varied and original - I had a potted prawn sandwich, which consisted of a pot of prawns in sauce on a salad, slices of ciabatta, a pot of coleslaw and a mini-basket of fries - all for £6.75! The ingredients were excellent in quality and freshly prepared and cooked. We really couldn't fault this place and wish the new landlords all the best in their new venture!

Second time we have eaten here and can't fault it, ziggy is a great server and the food was fantastic. Just wish I had room for desert! Thank u all and can't wait til the next time, thank u xx
