Kington Cafe in Wiltshire

Perfect place, they are very welcoming, the place is nice and cosy, the food is nice and well cooked. They have colour pencils and drawings to entertain children. We had a lovely time and really enjoyed our full English breakfast.

Great little cafe that the village is so lucky to have. Staff are friendly and work really had to keep things running smoothly. My last visit was for fish and chips and I've previously had pizza and the vegetarian breakfast. Always made to feel welcome.

We were house hunting to the north of Chippenham and wanted something to eat before our first viewing. As we came down the M4 my wife noted on Google maps a cafe in a village very close by. What a remarkable find, friendly, food cooked fresh to order. It appears to have very strong support from the surrounding area. I thought it was a new venture, but it has been there 9 years. It also says a lot for a village which also has a pub and and shop.

What an amazing place this is, with fantastic owners too. My family and I were in the area and visited several times over a couple of weeks. We had toast (not just any toast) - it was delish, quality bread. Another day I had the homemade Katsu curry - it was very tasty and clearly made with top quality ingredients, expertise and love. We had to arrange a funeral while in the area and the cafe did the catering for that, providing the sandwiches and amazing home made cakes too. Village groups were having their small get-togethers in the café and everyone was welcomed and so well looked after. The café is clearly the hub of the village and we are so pleased that we found this first-class gem. Next year we will be in the area again and it will definitely be our first port of call. Well done to the owners.

Fabulous little cafe. We were trying to find lunch on our way to Bath, and got attracted into this village for the pub, which was closed. We decided to investigate this cafe, and though very busy with a party of cyclists, the proprietor cleared a table for us and told us they’d be with us in 5 minutes. Their adorable young waitress came and took our order expertly, and we were soon served. A great chicken salad and good sandwich, and we were tempted by the cake. Good clean cafe, clearly part of the community, and doing all the right things.

I've visited numerous times since moving to a closer location, and can't wait for my next visit. It is such good value. If you like good honest British food, this is the place to go. Satisfaction guaranteed.

10/10 perfect breakfast and tea. Gluten free and dairy free options for breakfast and perfect service. Fairly cheap £8 per breakfast. What more could you want???

We happened across this place by accident, when the pub across the road we were aiming for was closed. Excellent breakfast, great service, very clean bathroom. What more do you need!

Very friendly and a terrific and varied menu. We stumbled across it on our way to Castle Combe, but worth leaving the M4 at junc 17 and finding it if you need a motorway break. We'll definitely be visiting again.

Heart breakfasts and a laid back attitude for a relaxed meal. Catered for everyone and eve warmed up a bottle milk for the baby on request.

Had a super Sunday lunch here after stopping for a coffee and cake, we realised they are open on a Sunday and cook a roast dinner. The food was great, large portions and fresh veg. Would recommend for great food at great prices.

Asked Gavin & Lisa to provide a family meal, delivered to my home, for a special occasion. Planned meal was Beef Wellington, roast potatoes, a selection of vegetables and trifle (Sherry for the adults, plain for the children). The meal was fabulous with the beef succulent and cooked to perfection, vegetables just right and the trifle scrumptious, all presented beautifully. I considered the meal good value with the added bonus of not having to travel, I shall certainly do this again. We visit the cafe often for breakfast/lunch or tea, the food is excellent. I have no reservations in recommending Kington Cafe.

We had lunch from the special’s menu on Saturday, pulled pork and beef burger and quiche. Food was glorious! Really friendly service, will be back to see what’s new on the specials menu very soon.

Fantastic cafe for breakfast! Off the beaten track but well worth a detour if you're nearby or passing along the M4. Delicious cooked food and great coffee also. Highly recommended.

Drive through the village today and being beautiful weather had the car window open, the smell of the Sunday roast tempted me to order. We had roast pork with all the trimmings. The portion was plentiful and the taste was excellent. We will certainly return...
