Characteristic English place, with slogans for England for Euro 2024 hung throughout the place and flags instead of tablecloths. Owners and waitress very kind and helpful. Excellent food.. recommended!

From the outside, was a bit unsure of this pub but on entering became speechless. Thought at first it was a Scottish themed pub with so much memorabilia from North of the border. Found out, ableit several weeks late, they were celebrating Burns night. They had a raffle where you could various items, including Tennents Extra, Shortbread, and an Orkney Island tea towel. The highlight though was the Bagpipe finale! Never judge a book by its cover, a priceless pub!

We absolutely love this pub. It used to be our local until we moved away from Salisbury, and we really miss it. Tony and Carol are brilliant, really friendly and welcoming. Good home cooked food, a friendly atmosphere and decent drink, what more could you want from a local. Highly recommend.

If you want a warm welcome, and a great evening of fun laughter and food, then look no further than Tony and Carol at The Dusthole/ Railway Inn. Awesome

Friendly and willing to go out of their way to help us out. Stored luggage, had a great pint, and they smiled the whole time.

Lovely staff made us feel extremely welcome and generous with portions! Great choice if you’re in the local area or driving along the M4.

We can't rate food as we didn't have any. This review us for the service - thank you Hannah and Victoria and we loved the decor, atmosphere and general ambience. Great to have some soft seats as I have a problem sitting on hard surfaces due to arthritic joints. We will come back for food another day. Restful and a place where any age feels comfortable. Coffee lovely.

The fact there's often a queue outside waiting to get in says it all. I can't think of a cafe I've ever been to that's better and we're very lucky to have it in our town. It's not cheap but the food is fantastic, the staff work so hard to make sure you have a good experience and are all lovely. The quirky building adds to the atmosphere (there is an upstairs) and it's also dog friendly and can cater for gluten-free diets. Given the dinner reviews I think we'll need to try that at some point! Well done Sophie, Jamie and team!

Untypical breakfast menu no english breakfast instead there is a choice of crumpet toppings (banana and biscoff. Breakfast is served between 9 and 11:30 not all day very little is on the breakfast and lunch menu. Coffee was nice food is expensive a sausage roll is £8 or a bowl of nachos for lunch? Lunch is served between 11:30 and 2:30. Banana bread for £6.20 is more expensive than M&S cafe. There is a short window of opportunity for breakfast and lunch but not much on the menus. Half a jacket potato is £4.50.
