Priced yourselves out of the market for families! £5.50 for sausage roll £4.50 for slice of cake £7 for soup & bread ?!? I know you’re a charity but come on …..

Lovely cafe with a great mission! Warming cup of tea and panini on a rainy day. Small indoors area with a handful of tables and we will for sure return on a dry day and enjoy the beautiful courtyard area. Everything homemade on site (soup, stew, sausage rolls, scotch eggs, scones, paninis and selection of cakes). And make sure to take a walk up the gravel path to visit the “Aladdin’s cave” full of bric-à-brac’s and admire the architecture of the old convent buildings. Already excited to visit again! Thank you

My mum had some things she wanted to donate to Emmaus so I loaded the car and off we went. I knew that Emmaus was a charity that helped homeless people but I wasn't quite prepared for what I found. On arrival we took our donations to the appropriate place and we're met at the door by the most wonderfully warm and welcoming lady I have ever met in a charity shop! She told us she was a part of the community and how the charity worked. She was so pleasant I could have chatted with her all day. She directed us to the coffee shop and the charity shop. The coffee shop isn't large, but it's homely and the prices are in line with what you'd pay elsewhere. Why do people always expect cut price when a coffee shop is run by a charity??? Really makes me cross!!! We were a bit early for the cheese scones that had been recommended, but the sausage roll served with salad and crisps was mouthwatering and filling! And they're served warm if you wish! The coffee was really delicious and hot. All served up by community members who were very pleasant and helpful. We walked through the orchard to the shop which was delightful. The daffodils were beautiful and everyone we met along the way were warm and friendly and wanted to chat. We didn't buy anything in the shop, though I think I would visit another day and maybe find a treasure! The whole experience was a lesson in how the homeless can be helped and we left impressed with how people who had been marginalized by society have invested in the whole enterprise and made it such an amazing place with their own drive and determination to change their lives. I felt very humbled and I wish all the community members the very best for the future.

My friends and I have been coming to this lovely peaceful place for many years. We always return home with a treasure or 2!! We also always stop for refreshments at this friendly cafe, the coffee is great & usually I cannot resist the carrot cake, but I noticed the cake price had increased to £4.50 a slice, now I feel that is becoming unaffordable!! Please reconsider, people spend more if prices are reasonable, because we may have had a panini for lunch and a cake to follow, but we resisted and didn't buy any cake. Apart from that, great place to come to, thanks 😊

This is a great place to spend a few hours, there’s plenty to do including walking the orchard, looking at the huge second hand emporium and eating at the cafe. The food is exceptional, which is matched by the friendly staff. The carrot cake was so nice I arranged with the staff to make a whole one for my wife’s birthday. One of the warmest nicest places you could want to visit.

Wow fantastic food and service. Such a friendly and welcoming bunch of people, very helpful and attentive. It was my first visit had only just heard about Emmaus, looked online and decided a visit would be on the cards. My friend who has recently moved into the village was looking for a sideboard so I suggested we have a run out together. It was an amazing experience she bought a bird feeder and found a sideboard ! Two items ticked off her wish list. Also bought some scones to take home, fruit and cheese. Very impressed with the quality of food and so reasonably priced. All I can say is go and visit good cause, happy bunch, great surroundings which incorporates a wonderful garden area for children to play. Score 11/10 Great place!!!

A must do!! Fabulous food, prices, and the coffee is amazing. Its also very friendly but with professionalism and high standards. Had a lovely afternoon and a great browse through the gardens and huge shop, where there is something for everyone. So lovely to see such an old building being used to its full potential. The staff are very polite, helpful and friendly. Many repeat visits is going to be the norm for my friends and I. The cakes, scones, cream teas, milkshakes and coffee were amazing! If you have never been, you are so missing out!

Been a few times but stopped with my teenage daughter on our way to Norwich and it was lovely to see she enjoyed her visit and appreciated the cafe as much as I did. We loved sitting outside under the shelter in the spring sunshine but warmed by the overhead heater. Service was friendly and efficient despite being really busy and getting the last table, they were very accommodating of my daughter's requests to leave out ingredients she didn't like, the panninis and cakes were really good and at a good price. Even did a bit of shopping and left with a few cupboard essentials like coffee beans.

We took our adult special needs son for a birthday lunch & had afternoon tea. It included what is in the photo plus some delicious salmon things that we'd already eaten. Plus unlimted tea & coffee, for £15 each. Couldn't eat it all & took a couple of cakes home for later. Lovely homemade food, great coffee & tea, & exceptional service. Much nicer than one we had in Norwich. Highly recommended.

⭐️ Myself and my family have been to the Orchard Cafe at Emmaus on a number of occasions and every time we visit it never disappoints. All the companions are so so friendly and helpful and the food is absolute perfection! The Emmaus site is peaceful and tranquil and there is a wonderful park area which my boys love exploring. After we’ve eaten we always go in the shop and explore the rooms of treasure which are there. An absolute gem and one of my absolute favourite places. Positively highly recommended, you will not be disappointed ⭐️

I found this quite accidentally in the summertime when it was so hot. It was just the place to stop for something to eat in Ditchingham. Not an area I know particularly well, but the cafe is a welcome stop. They have a typical lunch menu, paninis, soup and bread, toasted sandwiches, and proper coffee. All of their cakes are homemade and look very tempting; I'm sure they sell out most days. The great advantage is that there is a fabulous charity shop here, one of the biggest I have ever soon. Highly recommend going to both the cafe and the charity shop.

Visited on a beautiful sunny day, and it was so lovely to sit outside in the sunshine, listening to the birds. We had coffee, and cherry and almond scones, which were were probably the best scones I’ve ever had (including my own). I hope they’re on the menu next time we’re there.

Town Green Garden Cafe is an absolute gem that has quickly become my go-to spot for both the perfect cup of coffee and a truly delightful experience. The coffee is nothing short of exceptional – rich, flavourful, and brewed to perfection every single time. Whether you're a fan of a bold espresso or a smooth latte, they have mastered the art of crafting the perfect beverage. But it's not just the coffee that keeps me coming back – the food is equally outstanding. Their menu offers a fresh, creative range of options, from delicious pastries to hearty sandwiches, all made with top-quality ingredients and a real passion for flavour. What really sets Town Green apart, though, is the staff. They are simply the best! Engaging, attentive, and always ready with a smile, they make you feel welcome from the moment you step through the door. What I love most is their sense of humour – they are genuinely funny, quick with a joke or a witty remark that adds an extra layer of enjoyment to your visit. It's clear they love what they do, and that energy is infectious. It's rare to find a place that not only serves incredible coffee and food but also creates such a warm and joyful atmosphere. Town Green Cafe is a true treasure – I can't recommend it highly enough!

This is a friendly, cosy little cafe. The espresso coffee is particularly good, as are the home-made cakes. There's a varied menu that caters for vegetarians, vegans and people with gluten intolerance.

Went out for coffee with my friends around wymondham and stumbled across the cutest bakery EVER! The atmosphere and staff were so lovely and welcoming and the coffee was absolutely incredible! We also heard the cinnamon buns were highly recommended so grabbed one of those which indeed lived up to our expectations! They had so many options and amazing sourdough bread available, perfect with soup for the warm weather! Will definitely be back!!

A very discreet place serving wonderful home cooked cakes (it does other food but we were there for the cake). I'm not sure if everything was vegan but I think so. I'm not a vegan btw. Our host (Raf - sorry if I've got that wrong) was very friendly & welcoming.
